The store has a wide variety of options to select from for fireplace products and patio sets. They also sell and install other outdoor products (ie. grills, mailboxes etc). It's nice that the store is also open on Sundays. Customer service: The staff here are knowledgeable and helpful without sales pressure which is appreciated. The purchased products are typically delivered very quickly if in stock and they try to order and deliver asap if not in stock. I haven't had any issues with returns if I was not satisfied with the product. I've worked with both Shane and Mike. *We did end up having to exchange a chair as it had a scratch and I wanted some touch up on the table because I saw marks on the table initially. I didn't appreciate the comment "you are being too picky" made by the delivery man. It is just not a comment you'd make to someone that is purchasing pricey furniture. I'm paying more than normal for the furniture so yea there's a reason I'll want the furniture to be in good shape. Costs: The costs may be on the more pricey end but they carry good quality products. The purchases were made within the past 2 years so I'll provide an update if anything changes. I'd recommend this place if you are looking for quality fireplace products or outdoors items in general. The first impression I had was how similar it was to "HomeGoods," except it was a larger space. There were Christmas trees and decorations near the entrance, three (3) aisles of chairs I saw next, and planters, gardening essentials, poufs and ottomans against the walls. I then spotted some sofas, loveseats, and outdoor furniture toward the back of venue. I then walked through the rug and carpet department. It was quite disorganized. Items were picked over and placed on the floor instead of getting put back on the shelves. Well, this phenomenon was often seen in many retail stores post-holidays or on the weekends. I wasn't shocked, but I knew perhaps the associates and managers there could do a better job on maintaining the best visual. In addition, I noticed some items were damaged or having minor defects. Hubby and I were looking for a planning board with the days of week that we could write on daily activities or meal-prep-related messages. The one we originally wanted to purchase had a broken hook. Fortunately, we spotted another style on the other side. With that being said, conduct detailed quality check before you commit on buying anything at the store. Many tables already had scratches, dents, or uneven legs. I guess we would meet these damaged goods pretty soon at Marshall's, TJ Maxx, or HomeGoods with deeper discounts? No se, pero "we shall see!" The trip to "At Home" wasn't exactly a waste, even though I did have to admit the prices weren't exactly the lowest one could find. This is the year of 2018. E-commerce is now the sh*t. He was incredibly generous with his time and offered us great advice, even showing us around and pointing out recommended plants and shrubs. We drove back home and did more research and thinking. A week later we returned and met up with Craig again. He discussed our choices and then showed us where to find everything. Along the way he gave us even more ideas by letting us look at pictures of his own extraordinary landscape. He never pressured us to buy anything and even came back later to check on us. I would like to add that his colleagues were also very helpful and open to dialogue in response to our questions. This spring we went to purchase a tree for our yard. Found what we wanted for $800. We would prefer that professionals plant this tree. All good until: Tree cost: $800. Delivery and planting: $1200. So an $800 tree costs $2000 to have planted. Are you kidding me? 150% service charge to plant. That's like buying a $1000 big screen tv from Abt or Best Buy and paying $2500 total to have it installed. No rational person would do this. By comparison, we have purchased trees from other local nurseries and their planting fees are typically 50% of tree cost. So an $800 tree would cost an additional $400 to plant. Total cost: $1200. Who in their right mind would pay 150% of the cost of the item to have it "installed?" Do better, Lurvey. This is madness.

I called ABT and spoke with Lou (his direct # 847-954-4140). I did some research before I called and liked the Samsung 55." 4K NEO QLED, originally $1,297.99, on sale for $897.99. Lou stated, "They had a sale starting tomorrow (Saturday) and that he could sell it to me for $651.00." Great! Lou said he could have it delivered next Tuesday. I explained my mother's situation and asked if it could be delivered tomorrow, on Saturday. Lou said, "I'll make it happen." Now that is exceptional customer service! Josh Hoffman was the technician who delivered and set up my mother's new Samsung TV. Josh programmed the Xfinity remote to the new TV, and my mother accidentally hit something that made the TV verbally announce everything she did. Josh asked if she wanted that, and my mother said no. Josh was quick-witted and a comedian; he had my mother laughing. You certainly can tell when an employee loves their job!
