I ordered delivery having just moved to the area. It was cold and soon to snow and I was tired. The lady on the phone was very pleasant and helpful. Delivery was quick and the food was okay. Went for dinner tonight and even though it was crazy busy the service was excellent. I had the Or and Beef and it was absolutely fabulous. The eggrolls were fresh and crisp. Hubby had the chicken wings and he said they were nice and crispy. He also had Pork Line in and we both thought it was really tasty. I had lunch here yesterday, was not the best at all. I work in the shopping center and thought I'd give them a try and I wasted 10$. The sesame chicken looked overdone and crispy hardly any sauce and to top it all off, I ate the food and not even a few minutes later felt sick to my stomach and threw it all up. I was hungry and already wasted a good 15 minutes of my lunch break to get the food but never again will I go here. Customer service isn't the great and food even worse. Heaven Dragon is our "go to" place for Chinese food. The orange chicken and sesame beef are delicious! I adore the people that work there. They greet me by name every time I come in. We order from Heaven's Dragon almost every week. Not only do they deliver, but they are prompt and always get the order right. When I need to bring in lunch for a business meeting my clients love the large variety of items available on the Heaven's Dragon menu. They have everything from low calorie staples like shrimp with steamed vegetables with sauce on the side to my favorite sesame chicken. The service is always very good too. This place serves up not only the most mediocre Chinese food I've ever had, but also the most expensive. What other Chinese restaurant serves soup without wonton strips? To top it off, they have horrible service. The girl who took my order tonight barely spoke more than one syllable at a time, and turned her back to go into the kitchen without another word as soon as my transaction was complete. I got home on a rainy night to discover that my order was not complete - it was missing the eggroll that was included in the "special." When I called, the best manager could do was offer to give me one at no charge the next time I visited. Ordered take out. Got the Chef's Special 3 flavor meats w asparagus. There were about 3 asparagus and 60 snow peas and 40 of those little corn cob looking things from a can. Yuck. I used to love the original Heaven Dragon at 120th & Colorado, when I lived on the northeast side of town. The location out west at 64th & McIntyre is ok. But this one was downright disappointing. We were seated back in a far corner near the bathrooms, which felt like a closet and had really bad lighting. We missed out on the interesting decor in the main dining area, but I had a great view of a vacuum cleaner. The food was not good. My husband had the sesame chicken, which was overcooked and stringy. I had the Emperor's Delight, which consisted of spongy fake crab and slices of under cooked (read raw and bloody in places) beef with gluey brown sauce and a lot of veggies, including the ever popular canned baby corncobs. I had the most un-alcoholic long island iced tea I have ever had, and a sip of my husband's zombie revealed a beverage that was neon colored, watery, and not much else. The rice was dry. I've suffered through lackluster, mediocre, downright disgusting and even unidentifiable Chinese food from Denver to Ft.Collins. Not being able to say "my favorite" or "I love this". Not even once. There's only one way to do Chinese, and that's the right way. Chinese Express, in Broomfield. Right way. I would've drove a million miles to eat there. Unfortunately, business changed hands. I was left with a pathetic and disgusting menu. Food was pretty gross actually. I thought I was out of luck forever. Someone suggested Heaven Dragon and said I wouldn't be disappointed. I went in, expecting the usual soggy, gristly, weird tasting fodder. But instead I was blown away by the quality and freshness of the food. I had take out the first time, kind of expected it's quality to decrease a bit due to the car ride home. No such luck. And the leftovers, let's just say, if they taste just as good cold as they do hot, we have a winner. Pros- Quiet and clean restaurant, affordable prices, friendly staff and great food. We went on vacation for 3 months and when we came home the food at this restaurant had changed drastically. The first order was lacking several items as well as not tasting nearly as good as we remembered. The hot & sour soup is now neither hot or sour, not bad but no longer hot & sour soup. So, I took my kids to Heaven Dragon last night. The three of us ordered different chicken-based dinners (General Tso, Orange and Pineapple). My General Tso's Chicken was a touch overcooked, but it tasted great! My kids enjoyed their's as well. Lots of food for the $10-$12 per dinner order. We have tried this place several times and really wanted to like it, because it is very close to our home. This is run by the same folks as Pearl Wok, and IMO the other place is vastly better. So-so. Large portions but very pricey. The Mongolian beef is mostly onions with a few pieces of beef. Never enough plum sauce for the mu shu pork. Developed my taste for Chinese food in Oakland's Chinatown and this tastes NOTHING like it. Sesame Chicken is seriously like crack here. The sauce is so good you will want to lick the plate. Try the shrimp with spicy garlic sauce or the szechuan beef. The food is great and the portions are large. read more

this place has the worst customer service I have ever seen. the last 3 times i have ordered they claim to have no driver for their delivery service. i could see every now and again driver might be sick, but those 3 times came over a 5 month period. so i dont see a coincidence. also the gal on the phone tried to claim that i wasnt ordering enough food for them to consider delivery.its too bad because the food is very good,but if you cant get it too me then whats the point? read more

This place is pretty close to where I work so we order take out almost each week. Their lunch combos are pretty generous, you get your entree, choice of rice (bonus for having brown rice), soup, egg roll, and a crab cheese wonton. It's enough food to have lunch plus a snack later on in the day. I usually get the General Tao's chicken, and spoon out the additional sauce. read more

I would agree that this place has terrible food. I think folks in Colorado have a very naïve sense of what Chinese food should taste like. I don't want to come across as pompous but it is difficult not too. I have been trying to find any quality Chinese food since I moved out here from the East Coast 17 years ago and have found only one place that even fits the bill down in Denver. I realize I come from Boston and New York which are big cities with a wealth of eateries to choose from but still there is just no comparison. I simply do not understand why it is so difficult to make the same quality food in Denver. Maddening!! For those who rate these places with 4 or 5 stars I truly do not understand what you are thinking. Perhaps travel to the East or West coasts and see the amazing difference. It is almost like there are two different Yelp scales of food quality where folks from the Colorado area rate food with 4.5 to 5 stars but to the rest of the world the would be 2 or 3 stars. read more
