We went for breakfast on our first morning because of the proximity but went back twice for food and service! Every dish is well made, made promptly and served with a smile! From eggs Benedict, to eggs over medium to a breakfast sandwich it was perfection. The best for me was a short stack of blueberry pancakes. Heavenly Restaurant is Heavenly. They have been our "go to" place on the cape for years now. Located across the street from "The Cove at Yarmouth" they offer a casual vibe but homey. It is a great place to get a hot breakfast and some really good coffee. My review is several months coming as the last time I was here was this past May. It was formerly called "Heavenly Coffee" I believe so to those who maybe wondering, yes it is the same place. And it looks exactly the same inside too. Price wise you cannot go wrong. I have been coming here since I was but a very young little person and have always enjoyed the warmth of the place and their hard working staff. I would urge people to give this place a try. This place was recommended by our hotel staff since they don't provide breakfast. I came one morning this week for breakfast with my 4 hungry children. It took 15minutes to get a drink order after we were seated. That is my only complaint. Other than that, the food was good. We had classic eggs Benedict and a round of Mickey Mouse shaped pancakes, OJ and chocolate milks. Was on vacation in Cape Cod and on our final day we went here before hitting the road. The food here was wonderful. My friends and I got the eggs Benedict with crab cake and corned beef hash. We split our meals so we could taste everything ( Super foodies). We changed to scrambled eggs though. It was perfect. We loved the crab cake!! Their potato's were sooooo good!! Food was out in good time and the staff was warm and welcoming. Looks like the have a ton of regulars who get to indulge in their good cooking regularly. I'm a bit jealous. We stopped at the Heavenly Restaurant on a Saturday morning in late September for breakfast on the recommendation of a friend. Those who follow my reviews should know that I really enjoy starting my day with breakfast. You probably also know that I do not like crowds or waiting long for a table with so many options available...and proper planning. Well, showing up at 10AM on a cloud covered Saturday morning and seeing a practically empty parking lot and equally empty restaurant should be a sign that this is either a hidden gem or a mediocre place at best. If not for traveling with the friend who recommended Heavenly, I would have found another place. My hunch that this was mediocre at best was spot on. However, we were welcomed by friendly and eager staff and then seated at a booth which had plenty of room for four and all of the cups and plates of food to follow. Our waitress was nice and also very attentive with refills off coffee, tea and water. The food also came out fast which is not surprising given how empty the establishment was. One aspect I found amusing was how I left the restaurant to retrieve something in my car, and when I returned just a minute later I was greeted by the same friendly and eager staff without apparently recognizing that I was the customer who just left a minute earlier. Now for the food -- The made to order Belgian waffle came crispy and without any butter or powdered sugar what is exactly how it was as ordered, so kudos to the cooks for following instructions. Sliced bananas on the side were ordered and brought out exactly right. I also respected how our waitress asked how the side of bacon would be preferred, and it was ordered crispy and came crispy. Score!! The Country Breakfast came with 2 eggs (poached) and 2 pancakes...nothing too special, but very filling. The scrambled (3) eggs and side pancake were also of healthy portions, but nothing too spectacular. My egg white vegetable omelette was large, packed with veggies, and not greasy while coming with crispy home fried potatoes, a side of crispy bacon and English Muffin (for a nominal up-charge). All in all, the food was hearty and provided nourishment to start the day of adventure, but was certainly nothing to fawn over....3 stars. read more

This was our 2nd time coming here and I'm not sure we'll be coming back. The food is pretty good and they are usually packed but their service left much to be desired. We try to go to places owned by people of color where ever possible and the first time we wen it wasn't bad food or service. The 2nd time the service was rushed, items were missing like butter and utensils and trying to get that stuff left us to do it ourselves. Needless to say the tip reflected that. Went for the 2nd time yesterday around 2pm bc it was one of the few places still serving breakfast and traffic was brutal on Memorial Day (tried driving to Hearth n Kettle but it was gridlock). Server was nice and attentive. Went for a meat omelette w bacon, ham & sausage w home fries and toast. The home fries are ok, nothing special, not much if any seasoning and just grilled enough but lacking a crisp as they should always be. The omelette was big and hearty, No shorting on the meat and it was cooked great. White toast was toasted well and went good w some orange marmalade on top. Washed it all down w a can of diet coke. $15.69 for a total plus tip, little high for the quality but it is what it is. It would be great if they did some sort of seasoning to their home fries or made them a little bit more crispier. I suppose I could always ask as well. Their breakfast sandwiches which I ordered my first time there should also come w home fries. Get more than plain bagels!! A plain bagel is so boring and ruins a breakfast sandwich. 1. Took hour and half to finally get out of the place. 2. Crazy hidden fees for just breakfast. I ordered bacon omelet right off there menu how it is. Apparently they do not include cheese in there omelets. It was 11 bucks then an extra 4.25 for cheese.... are you kidding me.! Now keep in mind there was 3 in our party who got omelets. And the other Parson got pancakes, 10 bucks for those and ANOTHER hidden fee of 3 bucks for whipped cream. Our rye toast was burnt completely sent back and they sent out a new order of yet again burnt toast. Avoid going here there are many better breakfast joints around. read more
