Came here around 11-12 because we were in the area and had a coupon for bogo! They only had 4 flavors which is disappointing because froyo places should have more then that. I think only normal vanilla, chocolate, pistachio and dole whip/pineapple. Their flavors were decent, not bad but not the best ive had. They have a good amount of toppings fruits candy mochi crackers sauces and even some crystal boba! I only got their cookie dough cheesecake and mochi because thats usually what i always get. Their cheesecake is the same as other places and i like that their cookie dough is like actual dough not like the normal balls of cookie dough idk lol. As I was checking out, the cashier sneezed directly into her hand--no tissue, no attempt to cover it with her elbow, and worst of all, no handwashing or sanitizer afterward. When I called her out and told her not to touch my cups or put lids on anything, she casually said, "Yeah, I know I sneezed in my hand." Like that somehow made it okay. Excuse me?! That's not just gross--it's completely unhygienic and irresponsible. When you work around food, you absolutely must follow basic health protocols. Sneezing into your hand and continuing to handle customer items is beyond unacceptable. To the owner: This is a health code violation waiting to happen. Train your staff better. Enforce proper hygiene. I was furious and ready to walk out, and honestly, if it weren't so hot, I would've left the yogurt right on the counter. I had just moved in the pocket area and wanted some frozen yogurt, this place is one of the best of my experience. The workers are very nice and welcoming, the young lady I met was sweet--our conversation made my day. They did a good job keeping the store clean and I definitely will be coming back. I noticed a rude customer while getting my frozen yogurt, complaining about lids which the worker dealt with it politely. This place is still very much a five star standard. Greeted with a smile, asked to sanitize our hands and everything is still self serve. Prior to arriving I was wondering how a frozen yogurt place would be during this time. I was kind of expecting like a pinkberry experience where they get the yogurt for you and put the toppings on. But that was not the case. Everything was still available with some modifications. They had flexible plastic runners across the top of everything, and cups were behind the counter to be given to you as well as sample cups. This is still my favorite mom and pop frozen yogurt shop. We were right by menchies but I much rather support local businesses first. Especially during this time. Thank you for being open and still upholding amazing service even during a pandemic. The last time I went here was two months ago, but I must write this because they lost a loyal customer... I loved the tasted of this yogurt bc I noticed their tart flavor was really good compared to others. But I started to notice the prices. One cup of yogurt would cost me almost seven dollars and I didn't get much. I tried going to another place and got the same amount and I always pay under five dollars. I ignored the prices, the old cashier register, and the unkept interior until one day I waited 15 minutes to try to pay for my yogurt. The cash register machine is ANCIENT a piece of JUNK. It's insane they haven't invested into their own business within the past decade. They had an issue with the machine and I stood there for 15 minutes while the lady frantically called to try to fix it. My yogurt was MELTING. They couldn't take my payment and i didn't even get my melted yogurt as compensation. I don't know I feel like the owners have gotten greedy and raised prices without updating the shop which seems stressful to the workers and staff. This is a build-your-own bowl kind of place. They charge by the ounce, so be very careful... it adds up very quickly. You start by selecting one of four different cup sizes or a waffle cone. Fill it with your chose of six different flavors of yogurt. You also have an option to mix the different flavors. Then you go down the row of toppings from caramel, hard chocolate, butterscotch, mini M & M's or Reese Pieces, Andes bites, and many more. If you bring your little ones, my advice is to watch them carefully or you will be digging deep into your wallets. I went there with my boyfriend and we thought we were being very conservative. It tasted exactly like a green apple and it was just the perfect amount of sour. - Sample cups are available AND allow you to self serve each sample. It didn't appear that they had a limit on the samples you can try but don't get greedy. - A ton of toppings are available. - Large amount of boba options. - This place is open pretty late and varies between closing at 10:30 and 11pm on some nights. - Has nice out door seating/table. I have been a loyal fan of HeavnLy's ever since they opened 6+ years ago. The establishment is always clean, the staff is friendly, and their tart yogurt is the best! Their pricing is really fair too. They have a stamp card so after 10 (8 oz.) purchases you get one free. As stated above, I love their tart. It's tangy, but not too tart (if that makes sense). I usually like their other tart flavors as well, such as pineapple or watermelon. They also have more creamy flavors like vanilla or chocolate. They switch up their 6 flavors pretty often and have small cups for serve-yourself samples. Who doesn't like samples? To the left is the toppings stations. There is a cold cart that has freshly sliced fruit and popping boba (balls with fruit flavored syrup inside). On the counter there are squirt bottles for syrups and hot pots with hot syrups. Then there are perishable toppings like cheesecake, brownie bites, and mochi. Next to that are the candy, nuts, cereal, and anything else you can think of to put on yogurt. Everything is in its own compartment with scoops to keep things organized and sanitary. The staff will then weigh your yogurt and you pay (cash or credit). Don't forget to get your card stamped. You can get a lid if you want to take your yogurt home. My go-to yogurt creation is tart yogurt, strawberry slices, mango popping boba, mochi, and fruity pebbles. The fruity pebbles really make it complete. Try it! The staff are usually high school/college aged, so they're very friendly and always great you when you enter. This year they started serving shaved snow. I believe Vampire Penguin was the first place to get popular for their snow, but HeavenLy's is better in my opinion. When my family goes we get the large and it is enough for 4-5 people. It's such a good deal. You order it with the cashier then someone in the back makes it and brings it out. Both times when the worker brought out our huge plate, everyone around us was in awe. They really do not skimp. We've tried the watermelon and lychee - I liked the lychee better. I would definitely recommend getting condensed milk as a topping. It adds a nice creamy, sweetness. To our surprise, the mochi and cheesecake toppings we ordered were even layered inside of the pile of snow. Now that shows they really think about their customers. Flavors seemed pretty standard but they had Pistachio flavor which is one of my favorite yogurt flavors. Another place in the Sac area that serves shaved snow! Looks like they've been here for a while, originally offering self-serve froyo. But they have a relatively new shaved snow menu with choices of syrups, fruits, mochi, and popping boba! Today we ordered watermelon snow, jackfruit, mango mochi, and condensed milk. It was really refreshing! The snow was fluffy and melted in my mouth, and it wasn't too dry either. Positives - Their flavored mochi options! They aren't the freshest mochi but it's pretty good. Also I like that they have a few different flavors of snow than your usual options, like peach, watermelon and coconut. Negatives - I'm never really in this area, so I'm not sure how often I'll return. I live down the street from a shaved snow place already, so I would most likely go there first before any other spot. Their toppings are also a little limited, I'm not sure if you can also choose from the toppings that they have out for the froyo. Overall, a good spot to come by for something sweet and refreshing. This is the best yogurt spot in our area! This little shop sells yogurt, snow cones, shaved snow, root beer floats and a few other things. On Friday evenings from 4:00pm -8:00pm kids under 12 get 4oz of free yogurt. So either for free or you can pay 2.50 for two children for a little more then 4oz. Great deal! We come here often in the winter and summer and love the many toppings and different yogurt options. The employees at this location are also very kind and the store is always clean and well stocked.
