    Very packed on Saturday afternoon

The tea drinks and tea jellies here are on the spot! If you like robust traditional asian tea, here is the spot! I especially love their tea jellies and huen guey. Great lower-calorie alternative to traditional boba, but with added tea flavors. There's not really space to chat or study at though. More like a take-out spot. Every time I come here (always weekend), it's packed. I wouldn't say the service is particular friendly or welcoming, but at least they get the job done efficiently.

Update: After being closed for a while, this location finally reopened--but unfortunately, the major issues weren't fixed. It is still absolutely miserable inside. The heat is completely unbearable just standing there waiting for a drink. The ultimate irony? There is literally an A/C repair shop right next door. It is incredibly disappointing that the owner of this location refuses to take this Arizona heat seriously or show basic consideration for their customers' comfort. No matter how good the drinks might be, it's not worth sweating through your clothes!!!

I was so excited when HECHALOU opened a location near Deer Valley. We've been there twice, but unfortunately, both visits were a little disappointing. They are currently temporarily closed according to IG and Google. The place is very small and not ideal for Arizona summers. Who wants to stand outside in 110-degree weather waiting for a drink? It's just too hot, and it's not worth it. Their jelly is different from the Tempe location; instead of those jelly cubes, the jelly here came in little pieces. Since this location is franchised and owned by different people than the Tempe location, the quality just wasn't the same. Personally, I'd rather drive to Tempe than stand outside in the heat waiting for my drink. The air circulation inside isn't great, and the place feels stuffy. I'm not sure when they'll reopen, but honestly, it doesn't really matter. I'll just stick with the Tempe location.

House Blend Milk Tea with Yin Yang Jelly

Got the House Blend Milk Tea with Yin Yang jelly. I would have preferred if the milk tea had a stronger tea flavor. Very little seating space and it was crowded inside, so we waited outside in the heat...not sure if it was worth it. I wanted to like it. Maybe I should have ordered something different? If someone else is paying and picking it up, I'll try it again.

Theres not a lot of signage on the outside so it was kind of hard to find (I walked past it a few times). Everyone was very nice and I was allowed to sample so many jellies (which were all good). I ended up with the oolong tea and black sesame jelly at 30% sweetness level, which was perfect for me. I came from hot barre so it was very refreshing. Unlike boba, the next day, the jellies were still soft!

So excited this tea house has finally reopened! It has a cozy, traditional Taiwanese "old soul" charm with just a few tables. They're still in a soft opening phase, so they can be a little hard to find with no sign yet. Look behind Taco Bell in Bell Tower Plaza, near the WinCo Foods side. They specialize in homemade flavored jellies and boba, both with amazing texture. Their teas, like the House Blend Milk Tea and Osmanthus Milk Tea, are smooth, naturally sweet, and well-balanced without any bitterness. The crane-shaped egg puff waffles are also such a fun touch. The staff was also kind and provided great service, which made the visit even better. Charming spot with great drinks, great service, and a lot of heart. Wishing them much success!

Very glad to see this open on the west side. Came on a Monday around 2:30pm. Cozy little shop. A few other groups who ordered quite a few drinks. Thought it was going to be a long wait, but drinks were completed very quickly! Favorites were the Mango Coconut Slushy and the House Blend Milk Tea with Sesame Jelly. Bought several drinks to enjoy now and later! FYI you can order from the kiosk and the counter! Too many people in line for the kiosk who didn't realize.

    Early grey latte

The lady taking my order was so sweet and helpful drink was flavorful and exactly what I was looking for! Nothing is worse than spending money on a drink that tastes just like milk but the earl grey latte was perfectly balanced with a strong earl grey flavor that I LOVED! I paired it with the chrysanthemum (I think that's what it is) jelly!!!

    thai tea

thai tea was so good! and there teas with jelly are so good. the workers where nice and you can also order on the kiosk. there jelly's are so big i love that so much!!

Oolong milk tea and oolong jelly.

I was a frequent customer during it's previous iteration as Yo&I and as Bubble Cups up until 2 or 3 years ago. Tonight was my first time back in years as I found out through a recent post in Yelp that it was closing. I stopped visiting due to personal reasons but I had to make a visit to try to catch the owner and tell her that the shop will be missed and that I was sorry to see them go. For the last hurrah, I made a large order for the following: Raspberry fruit tea x2 Hokkaido Milk Tea And my all time favorite - the Classic House Special The Raspberry and Guava fruit teas are currently buy one, get one free and all other drinks are buy one, get one half off. For my final parting words, if you are in the area or don't mind coming over this way, please visit them one last time before they close for good on Sunday, Dec 28. They have some amazing promos going as a final gift to customers and you will be supporting a local family that have been running this place. Thank you Bubble Cups for the years of great drinks to make my day a little more brighter. I hope to see you again soon someday!

I ended up going with a mocha boba, but for me it was a tad too sweet! The cafe itself was very cute.. they had a cubby with some board games & such to choose from! It's a perfect little spot if you just wanted to hang out for a little as you're enjoying your boba or the ice cream that they also offer!

The drinks were excellent, fresh, flavorful, and made just right. Ben, the manager, was very friendly and helpful, and you can tell the team is putting real effort into making the shop a great place to visit. Parking wasn't too bad. Place was empty when I walked in witha good amount of tables and seating. Lots of Bible verses on the wall. I wondered if this was a newer boba shop. Lady at the counter was on the phone and didn't answer my question. I asked which of the milk teas she recommended and she said the golden milk tea aka classic. I ordered a large with easy ice, 50% sugar, and honey boba. Menu price is $7 and $1 for boba, but total came out to $9 for some reason. It even says tax is included in their prices, so not sure what the extra $1 was for. Drink was ready in a few minutes and I was on my way. First thing I noticed was the color: very light and white. Strange, as I expected it to be darker. Flavor wise: sweet and no tea flavor, disappointing. Tasted like a powder too. Boba balls were good; chewy and cooked nicely. That was a small redeeming factor. Overall not impressed with this spot and probably won't be back. Expensive and quality is not up to par.

Most of the drinks are not very good, especially for how overpriced everything is. I have recommended this place to others, and they have said the same thing. Many of them chose not to return. The biggest issue is the service. It is consistently unprofessional. There have been times where I was the only person waiting, and it still took a long time just to order because the worker stayed in the back and only came out when he felt like it. On multiple visits, the worker has also sighed heavily, taken a deep breath, and rolled his eyes while I was ordering, even when the order was simple. Other people I know have experienced the same thing. It creates an uncomfortable environment and makes customers feel like an inconvenience just for ordering. The wait times are excessive. It can take up to 30 minutes just to place an order and close to an hour to receive a drink. Having only one person running the shop is clearly not working. At this point, the pricing, service, and wait times do not match the experience being provided. After multiple visits, nothing has improved, and there is no reason to continue coming back.
