Grass fed burger & fresh cut fries.
    Antoinette L.

Dinner at Heck's was delicious. They have the best burgers made with grass fed beef. Our table of four all tried different special burgers. They all come with their fresh cut fries. You can substitute a salad or vegetable in place of fries. Also gluten free buns are available. The service was excellent. Our two servers were great and made us feel so comfortable. The burgers were all prepared perfectly to the temperatures we requested. We had a side of onion rings for the table & not one was left. We left feeling very full & happy.

Wasn't my first time at Heck's, but it never disappoints! I always get the burger au cheval and since today we came for brunch, I also got the home fries. I will say the service wasn't as great as usual, but I assume it's because it was Mother's Day and busy. But the staff were all super nice. Loved the burger as always, but the homefries were just a tad soggy. Still really enjoyed!

    Merry Berry Cocktail

Conveniently located off of Chagrin Boulevard and Richmond RD. The evening was a Holiday gathering with friends. Our server Olivia was pleasant and helpful. The bar and restaurant were nicely decorated for the holidays. Five of us were putting a half booth. It was a tad cramped so we asked for a chair that we put on the end. Olivia was very helpful in moving a chair. This worked much better. I had the Merry Berry Cocktail which was like a margarita with cranberry and Rosemary. It came in a little bottle that you poured yourself. It was good, but could have had more flavor. It was a bit bland. For dinner, I had the Miso Gkazed Salmon over bok choy with sweet potato medallions. It had a cashew crunch dusting on top. It was good, but nothing special. Again, on the bland side. It was overpriced at $35.00. I'd return, but would opt for a burger I e fish tacos. Those looked amazing. The salmon just wasn't something I'd return for. Recommend this for the service and burgers. :-)

3 way breakfast with bacon and sausage

Heck's Cafe is truly a staple when it comes to brunch--you literally can't go wrong here. The menu has such a great variety, so there's something for everyone no matter what you're in the mood for. The food was really good, especially the home fries and sausage links--both were cooked perfectly and super satisfying. The French toast was a standout for me though. It was so flavorful and honestly tasted like a warm cinnamon roll... sooo good. Our waiter, Sarah, was really nice and gave some great recommendations, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere was also really nice--busy in a good way with people coming and going, and the music surprised me in the best way. It had more of an urban vibe, which I loved. I love Heck's--it's always a solid choice for brunch!

Went for an early birthday dinner with my family. The space is open and airy. Had a fun time with delicious food and drinks. Our server was very friendly and made great drink recommendations. My guys all had burgers I enjoyed the salmon burger and rosemary fries after we devoured the tuna nachos my favorite on the menu.

Avon burger, fire burger, Mac n cheese, rosemary fries, potato wedges
    Barbara L.

We ordered the Avon burger and fire burger and upgraded to rosemary fries and potato wedges. The burgers were great, although the fire burger tasted like a regular plain burger. The fries were hand-cut and quite decent! Also got a side of Mac n cheese which was not bad, but it also wasn't good. Kind of velveeta? The place is marketed as high end and the ambiance is fancy, but the food isn't really gourmet. Food was brought out quickly, and the server was nice enough.

Ambiance, decor, greenery were all so on point and pretty! Came here to dine with a friend and we had a great time. Our server was very friendly and accommodating and we felt like we were being taken care of. However, for a Monday evening, it was busier than expected and the speed of everything was extra slow. I had to remind and repeat some requests and questions for the server. Menu was straightforward and appealing. My burger was delicious and fries were crisp. The appetizer portions were on the small side. I wasn't impressed with their desserts. They were very pricey but the descriptions didn't match the content. The blondie sundae we ordered was overly dense, not particularly good and not really a blondie brownie. The chocolate flourless cake was also way too thick and sweet. Heard good things about the bread pudding so will be trying that next time.

Beautiful restaurant, very classy inside. Busy place during lunch on a Wednesday. Food was out in ten min though! Brieberry burger was perfectly cooked to order. Onion rings were nice and hot and crispy with a spicy aioli. Calamari was also nice and crispy but did lack a sauce to come with it would could be an improvement.

    Ohio Breakfast
    Ezrom S.

First of all I loved the vibe of the building it's very well decorated with a nice ambiance. Our server was very attentive and nice. We came right at opening for a Saturday brunch and left full and happy! We got the Ohio breakfast and the Baklava French toast.

    NY strip
    Craig K.

Good food and service. I stumbled onto this place and had no background info prior to walking in. They had good happy hour specials both food and drink. I had the NY strip and it was good. Personally, I don't like when the steak is cut up for me. Just a preference. It came with roasted peppers and fried potato wedges. They were good but I prefer a sauce or ketchup which they provided when requested. The French onion soup was good. All the food was slightly warm, not hot. No biggie. I would return.

    Eggplant dip
    Kim G.

This place does a delicious burger that's super juicy and flavorful. My friend and I ordered the Avon Burger and the Market Burger. We each loved the variety of creative toppings and thought the flavors complimented one another perfectly. The eggplant dip was the low point of the meal as we thought it had a bizarre flavor. They have a nice enough patio that we sat on and the inside decor looks cool too! Our service was good too! I'll definitely be back!

This time, I brought my family along for lunch, and it did not disappoint! We took advantage of their happy hour specials, which included half-off pizzas, select appetizers, and drinks. We started with the Street Corn Nachos and added grilled chicken. They were absolutely incredible--easily some of the best nachos we've ever had. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and every bite was delicious. We also ordered the whipped feta, which was simply divine and a must-try. For our entrées, one person ordered the pepperoni pizza and really enjoyed it. I had the sausage pasta, which was fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly light while still being incredibly satisfying. The third entrée was the Thai noodles , and it was another hit. Everyone commented on how fresh and well-prepared their meal was. The service, as always, was impeccable. We were greeted immediately and seated right away. What really stands out about this restaurant is the teamwork. Everyone pitches in, whether it's bringing out food, clearing plates, or noticing your water glass is getting low. It doesn't matter if they're your server or not--they make sure you're taken care of, and that level of hospitality really makes a difference. The restaurant is also spotless, and I love that the open kitchen allows you to watch the team preparing the food. It adds to the overall experience and shows how much care goes into every dish. Whether you're stopping in for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or happy hour, this place consistently delivers. Great food, outstanding service, a welcoming atmosphere, and a beautiful space make this one of my favorite restaurants in the Cleveland area. If you're visiting the Pinecrest area, do yourself a favor and make this a stop--you won't regret it!

From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming, organized, and most importantly safe and fun for the children. The entire staff was patient, friendly, and incredibly helpful with the kids. The children had an amazing time bowling--there was laughter, excitement, and so many happy little faces. It was the perfect place for a group of energetic five-year-olds to celebrate and enjoy themselves. We were also pleasantly surprised and so happy to learn that the Saturday morning kids programs will continue. That's such a gift for families in the community who are looking for a fun, positive place for children to gather and play. Eight years worth of Fairmount moments later, this review is well overdue. AMBIANCE: The ambiance allows you to slow down and enjoy your company. The restaurant is dim lit, has fireplaces, and loungey atmosphere. It somehow feels warm and I heard a lot of people refer to it as a second home (people are always so friendly here!). There is ample space - three bars, main dining space, and huge outdoor oasis bar. Nestled in Cedar Fairmount neighborhood, you'll also be able to enjoy historic neighborhood. There are seating arrangements if you're craving company or want to enjoy your date. Seating options include couches by the fireplace, tables, and high tops. Fairmount is delightful during every season. During the summer you can enjoy the bar and patio. In the winter you can dine at the igloos. I prefer all seasons here. FOOD/DRINKS: The menu at Fairmount is impressive and has exciting seasonal/weekly additions. You'll never get bored. The cocktails here are refined, very boozy, and very well crafted. The food is seriously delicious, and consistent every single time. I've been impressed with every dish. The dishes and drinks frequently follow the seasons. During my latest visit I enjoyed Butter Pecan Warm Cider with bourbon ($12, so bold and boozy, tastes like fall). I also ordered Fig Trouble Little China ($15, a more rich version of Old Fashioned, so delicious). I also tasted Short Rib & Risotto for the very first time ($28, such a delicious dish, every bite was just amazing). My favorites? Ah, so hard! I'll go with the Fairmount Burger! It's angus beef burger with bacon-fig chutney. It's so delicious! I can't even be serious about meat at the other burger places, this is easily the best burger in the city. My seasonal favorite? Kevin McCallister seasonal drink that resembles coquito or eggnog. The drink is topped with rice paper that includes the design of Kevin from Home Alone. It's such a fun tradition! I look forward to this drink all year and always tell the world about it! SERVICE: The service is excellent. I haven't been anywhere where service is right on point every single time. Everyone is nice - the owner, hosts, and waitstaff. You truly feel seen and like the most important guest. I've visited previously while on dates and frequently dine here solo, always had the most pleasant service. EVENTS: Many people book events here for their non-profits or companies. As far as individual events, Fairmount hosts a fun NYE party every year! PARKING: Onsite parking lot is available at the back of the building. You can enter through the front doors on Cedar or right through the parking lot door. There are numerous reasons why I love the Fairmount. I consider it to be the best dining experience in the Cedar Fairmount neighborhood of Cleveland Heights. I also love how the owner Jake is very engaged in the community and is incredibly friendly with the surrounding business owners. I'll choose this place again and again for calming ambiance, crafted cocktails, and delicious food. To many more years of Fairmount and at Fairmount!

Service has been very good when we've been there most recently Corinne I believe her name was was very friendly and helpful and did an amazing job managing many tables some with difficult customers. One note, NOT a negative to me but may be noteworthy for some: I don't think Gigi's is a spot for kids or large family events with kids, unless they have a private dining space I'm unaware of. Space between tables is tight and the space overall is not huge but they make great use of the space. The staff are extremely efficient and there are many of them moving with trays at any given time, it's absolutely not a spot to walk around with a toddler if they get bored at the table. The chicken was fried fresh, so it was hot and juicy. In addition to being hot in temperature, it was hot spice-wise. It came with candied jalapeños, soy chili jam, pickles, and Sriracha.
