Scheduling was easy, the…read morequoted price was what I was charged (plus a small add on percentage for using my credit card rather than paying by check or in cash) with no upselling, and communication was great from start to finish. Jeremy & Vlad arrived on time. They were friendly yet professional. They made their service feel personal by asking me what my concerns were and then addressing each one of them so that I'd feel comfortable with the process and the integrity of the company in general. I saw before and after photos as well as the junk they were able to extract from my ducts. When one of the connections between ducting sections blew apart while they were vacuuming that line, they came to me immediately, told me what had happened, and then fixed the connection even better than it was before. The cost seemed a little scary until I saw the depth and quality of the work Jeremy & Vlad did. The outcome has been less dust in the air and a healthier environment for this allergy sufferer. Better Air Northwest says it's the best duct cleaning service in Vancouver. This sounded to me at first as just a brag, but after my first-hand experience with them, I'd say it's a statement of fact.

They were easy to talk with and very personable. Definitely recommend for anyone needing their system cleaned etc! We had issues with mice this winter and they graciously gave us some advice on things to look at and do to fix ourselves (or of course call them if needed to have them come out!).

After getting some bids, we hired Precision. They were friendly and professional as they installed a new Rheem furnace at a good price. Their expert work relieved our stress, and we haven't had to worry about our furnace ever since. But the condensate pump is older and it recently malfunctioned. It wouldn't stop pumping after the trough was empty. I finally flipped the breaker to prevent it from overheating. Again, it was stressful because we were heading out of town and we wanted our cat to have A/C but we didn't want to leave the the pump connected if it might overheat. I disconnected the power supply to the pump and made an appointment with Precision. Today Moses came to diagnose the pump issue and do a tune-up of the furnace as well as the older A/C unit outside. He explained everything he found in a friendly and coherent manner. The pump seems to be ok although he explained how we could install a better one that will turn off the furnace if the alarm on the pump went off. I decided to keep an eye on the old pump and vinyl drain tube for now. Since we have only relied on Precision to service our furnace and A/C, and since there are upgrades we can potentially hire them to do in the near future, I opted to sign up for their Preventative Service Plan. It gave us discounts on the tune-ups Moses did today and the new capacitor he installed on the A/C. And with the membership we'll get discounts on anything Precision does for us over the next 12 months. We're sticking with Precision because they always provide excellent customer service.

The contractor was very nice and did a couple extra things. Would definitely recommend themread more

From the moment I booked the appointment, the communication was clear, friendly, and everything ran like clockwork. Technician Dane Shepherd arrived right on time with his a friendly smile and a handshake that immediately put me at ease. As a former service electronics technician myself, I truly appreciated watching a pro at work. Dane thoroughly diagnosed my HVAC system - testing the 24VAC to the gas valve, checking ohm resistance on the high-limit switch, flame sensor and inspecting the HSI igniter, measuring air/heat ratios, and verified the in the house heat vents blowing 112F of air. Along with a long list of additional tests. His attention to detail and systematic approach were outstanding. Dane was not only highly skilled but also polite, patient, and happy to explain what he was doing every step of the way. The work was completed perfectly, and my system is running smooth and better. Revival Heating & Cooling has earned me a customer for life. If you want honest, knowledgeable, and top-tier service from a company that truly cares, look no further. I highly recommend them - and ask for Dane if you can!

The water heater was installed 2 1/2 years ago by Rivival Heating and the anode rod needed to be replaced because "Portland water is so hard and full of minerals". The original quote for labor alone (not covered under warranty) was $340 but we got the manager to bring it down to $250. Still, the water heater is only 2 1/2 years old and that was an expense we did not anticipate when we bought the water heater. The prior one was not broken but when we had Rivival replace our furnace, they strongly suggested replacing the water heater at the same time. The old one never produced brown water but after just two years, the new one did. Maybe the water heater wasn't as good as the previous one? Not sure... Forgot to add, my home warranty service said they could not reimburse me because this is a "warranty issue". And to be truthful, the furnace job was great! Just wish the water heater repair didn't cost me anything. Next year, when it is out of warranty, I'll be able to file for reimbursement from my home warranty provider.
