The honey is so good. I use it on my fruit cups or fruit drink and with my morning coffee. Never lets me down.

I'm a tea person and this is the absolute best tasting honey I've ever had. Always need to have some for my tea.

I was especially impressed by the wide variety of imported cheeses, French Isigny AOP butter, beautifully marbled American Wagyu steaks, Berkeley-made NY-style bagels, Rosa Brothers glass-bottled milk, and even whole rabbit. Every aisle had something unique to discover. The quality of the products is excellent, and it's a great place to shop if you enjoy cooking or putting together a cheese board. Even the kitchen towels and small gift items were thoughtfully curated, adding to the market's cozy atmosphere. If you're looking for premium ingredients and a grocery shopping experience that's a little different from the big chain stores, Zanotto's is absolutely worth the visit. I'll definitely be coming back for the butter, cheese, and steaks!

I love how each location is slightly different from each other. The employees are literally the nicest people, always soooo friendly and efficient when I order from the counter. I am obsessed with the sandwiches they make, and I am on a mission to try them all! I love the Pesto chicken sandwich (which is not made at the Rose garden location), the caprese baguette, chicken mozzarella, salami & Brie, basically cannot go wrong with any of them. This Willow Glen location has a bunch of pre made meals too from burritos to lasagna to little snack boxes. And a salad bar which I always need to get. Love the vibe it's like family owned but still modern in today's ages.

Both meats were juicy, flavorful, and tender but if I had to pick one it would hands down by the beef steak. One thing to note about the dining experience is that it was uncomfortably hot inside the restaurant. I went on a summer day when it was in the high 80s and the restaurant didn't have AC or a fan... it was a lot warmer inside the restaurant than it was outside. I felt so relieved when I stepped outside.

It did have a lot of sugar, but it was pretty similar flavor-wise to Indian chai (sans milk), so it paired very well with our order. We ordered the chicken suqaar and the beef wrap. We opted for the chapati (sabaayad in Somali) with the chicken suqaar, but would love to try their rice or their version of injera during our next visit! The menu at first glance looks kinda confusing since they have Lunch in big letters on one side with a ton of their dishes and Dinner on the other side with the remainder of the dishes, making it seem like a few items are available during this time... but the Lunch portion just states that it comes with a side of rice, pasta, chapati, or injera (which is the same as Dinner...) so kind of an interesting stylistic choice there, but this is to say that everything on the menu is available the whole time they're open. The meals were so flavorful- the chicken suqaar had a ton of onions, carrots, chicken, green-bean like veggie, and spices, and was served with a green sauce that had kind of a habanero or jalapeno taste to it. The beef wrap was huge and I only ate half of one for dinner- it was flavored so well and the beef was cooked perfectly. This came with a side of the green sauce and a white sauce. I'd love to return and try their injera with chicken, kay kay chicken, beef suqaar or beef steak, and their sambusas! I saw some on another diner's plate and it looked sizable and filling. Jubba is located right next to a VTA light rail and an apartment complex so there's decent foot traffic, but overall, a wonderful place to try and eat!

Unfortunately, I visited again today, and things have only gotten worse. The pork section has now expanded into a major part of the store, while the halal section has been reduced to what feels like a small kiosk. For a business that built its reputation around serving the Muslim community, this is incredibly disappointing. I asked the Arab Muslim working at the checkout if these changes were hurting their business. He smiled and told me that business is actually better than before. If that's the direction the owners want to take, that's their choice--but it also means they've chosen profit over the values that originally brought many of us through their doors. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if beer and alcohol are next. The store no longer resembles the halal market it once claimed to be. Today was my last purchase here. I have officially stopped shopping at La Princesa and will be taking my business elsewhere. As a Muslim, I cannot support a store that has moved so far away from the principles it once represented. I dont know how do these people even sleep at night doesn't their conscious bite them of guilt and disgust for cheating Allah and the community. In my opinion, they have traded their values for profit, and that is deeply disappointing. May Allah guide them back to the right path.

The farm sits at 2 acres and boasts a variety of fruit trees, some bee boxes, a small flower garden, and a very well stocked farmstand. The stand has a variety of in-season fruits and vegetables, starter plants and herbs (they had tomatoes and strawberries when I visited in April), and a bunch of locally made and seasonal goods. Not everything comes from the farm, but they source from other farms in the Bay Area and state, and local businesses. They also work with local businesses to use their produce for fun products like jams, cocktail mixers, and dried fruits. They have tours and events at the farm, we got a tour when we went and it was really cool to learn all about the history, see the different fruit trees, and then of course visit the farmstand after and shop around.

If you live in the Almaden or Branham area, it's such a cool little hidden gem and definitely worth stopping by. The fruit looked super fresh, though the prices are higher than I expected, more like Whole Foods level prices. I thought going straight to the source would mean much lower prices, but what you lose in price, you definitely gain in freshness. For example, their strawberries were $5 per little green basket (three for $15), which comes out to about $5 a pound. At Costco, organic strawberries are $5.49 for 2 pounds, roughly $2.75 per pound. The giant seeded watermelons were $12.49 here, compared to $6.49 at Walmart. (Suggestions from a visitor) A couple of friendly suggestions that I think would be really helpful: It would be great if they posted online what fruit is in season and what will be at the stand, along with the prices. That way people can plan ahead and know when to make the drive when their favorite fruits are available. Also, there are no signs letting customers know they can go in the back. I only knew because I saw pictures on Yelp. Locals who've been here before probably already know, but as a first-timer, it looked like an employee-only area so I didn't go back there. A simple sign would be awesome, it would bring more people to the back to sit, eat, and enjoy the space since most fruit stands don't have that nice extra feature. Overall, worth visiting if you don't mind paying a bit more for freshness.
