However, once I moved in and began submitting maintenance requests, the communication and urgency completely disappeared. It's been difficult to get acknowledgment or consistent follow-up on issues that need attention. Messages go unanswered, and requests seem to fall through the cracks. What makes this even more concerning is that a couple of the issues I've reported are health and safety related, which I believe should be prioritized and addressed promptly. It's frustrating to see such a sharp contrast between how attentive they were before signing the lease versus how unresponsive they've become afterward. If I were a landlord, I would be skeptical about hiring a property management company that struggles to manage and maintain properties effectively or communicate with tenants in a timely manner. While the initial month was positive when my daughter rented a property under their management, things quickly went downhill. This reached a nadir over the final two months of the lease. A number of charges were posted against the account. While I can appreciate that utilities need to be paid, I don't understand how it is possible that an entire year of charges accumulated on the management's end without any notification to the tenants. It is inconceivable to me that any company with cash flow controls would let this happen. Further, I never understood why some miscellaneous magically appeared on our bill. As an example, we were asked to pay a $100 charge for "stucco." There was no accident. There was no damage. This was suspicious. Another example of this company's bizarre management of funds is that our family received a legal eviction notice AFTER our daughter (and all her roommate) had moved out of the unit. HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN?!?!?! The final straw occurred three weeks after vacating the rental unit. There was a $1300 charge against the deposit for painting. This was after getting the "all clear" from the management during the move out inspection. How is it possible that routine expenses should be charged against our deposit. Watch out for this company and be very, very cautious if you either rent from them or engage them to manage your rental property. If the way they pay attention to their cash flow is any indication to the way that they pay attention to the properties, look out!!!!! I would NEVER ever have anything to do with them in the future.

Fortunately, we have a proprty mgmt company that genuinely cares for their tenants. The interor temperature of our place would reach up to 92 degrees but our AC just couldn't mitigate despite a slightly cooler temperature outside at night.we all had trouble sleeping and with all fans running nothing helped. i eventually reached out to our landlord team out of desperation, i followed all their instructions still no change it the AC unit was still struggling. So our landlord team Mesa (Edgar) specifically took immediaite action and requested a professional HVAC company to look at the matter.Normally because of the heat and cries for help you would expect maybe 4-5 days turnaround service, well that wasn't the case because Edgar's sense of urgency we got a technician out to look at the AC unit the following morning. Due to my health issue i booked a room at a nearby hotel not anticipating a technician to arrive so soon. the tech discovered the issue at it was a leak somewhere. Edgar instructed the tech to add some refrigerant just to make it comfortable for us and then revisit the location of leak when it was cooler. Amazing what a difference it made. Most importantly, very cooperative management and not in business of scamming renter's as is the case for a majority of the rental companies in the area. I told them I get paid the following week and would be in to pay the deposit and first months rent but they didn't care whether or not my baby and I were left homeless. What scumbags! Do yourself a favor and do not deal with these idiots. Perhaps my son and I were the wrong ethnicity and therefore they gave the apt to someone with the correct heritage is my best guess.
