    P1. Steak Pho

I came here with a group and was impressed by the food. Very delicious and hearty pho, I would definitely return to try some different items. Only complaint is the service and overall atmosphere. It was a little chaotic and loud. Plus the tables and chairs were kind of cramped and difficult to manage with a group. I would return with 1-2 others but maybe not with a group. Employees were cordial but not very friendly. Not a huge complaint, I don't need employees to be overly friendly, it just adds to the reason I don't give this place 5 stars. Overall a great option for yummy pho in Puyallup

This is my favorite local pho spot to go to. I ordered the special pho here and it came with meatballs, brisket tendon and trip, but the broth was the real winner here. Clear, fragrant, and didn't feel like a total salt bomb. You can tell they take their time with the simmer. The portion size was generous for the large and I was able to share with my son and still had plenty leftover for myself. The service was fast and friendly, and it was very clean inside! Overall, a solid go-to spot for a reliable bowl of pho.

This is one of our favorite pho restaurants here in Puyallup. I love their special pho, ban mi or Vietnamese sandwich and of course my favorite, grilled pork chop with fried egg, if you're Filipino you should try this, it tastes like Filipino pork barbecue. I love the ambiance and cleanliness of this place. The service is good too, there is one Vietnamese crew that we know him already but we always forget his name, he knows us already and always greets us, that's why we always come back here.

Tasty broth with fresh ingredients. I can't say enough about the Beef Rib Pho, tender to the last bite. I'll be back!

Food: the food here is delicious! I've been to this location about 3 times and each time I try something different. My favorite so far is the vermicelli bowl. The portion is huge and I always have to share with my husband just to finish it. Will definitely be back to try more dishes. Service: the service is great. Whether the place is busy or slow the staff is attentive. Ambiance: it's a casual restaurant, not too much noice. It's also cute with modern decoration

First time trying the pork chops. It was ok, good amount of food for the price. There wasn't much service they just take your order and that's about it. The restaurant was nice inside but really quiet. But the upside they are open late.

Arrived with a dinner partner, whisked away to a 2 person small table up by cash register. Table directly in front of register. He wanted us to sit there. We chose a table further away and he seemed to ask us to switch to a smaller table. Mind you as we were there, there were couples sitting at 4 person booths, 1 person sitting in a 4 person booth and he harasses us at a 4 person table?? He took his time to get back to us and was rude taking our order. Usually it's a nice young guy who helps is this guy was short and skinny seems older than this guy but way friendlier. Food is normally good, hopefully it's good today. Pho ordered, no basil today.

Food is still good! Service is always great and it's always presentable ! I got the hotpot last time we came here and it was really good and hot!! Temperature wise so very careful!

Saddest excuse for a Bahn Xeo
    Christie A.

Absolutely not! We've eaten there when they first opened. I have ordered from delivery service multiple times. Tonight, though.....ordered the Bahn Xeo, and I'm not sure who was in the kitchen. Everything inside was not cooked!! Please provide the quality of food that aligns with your prices. Did ownership change?

Ridiculous prices for large bowls of nothing but soup. Very stingy on the amount of noodles and meat. Broth needs a bit of work as well.

The young lady that provided me with service on that day was fine. She was fast and efficient in handling all the tables during lunch hours. While the pho broth wasn't as flavorful as the other Pho restaurants I've tried, it was still tasty when I added Hoisin sauce into it. The spring rolls were great, too.

While eating, I kept getting whiffs of what smelled like the scent that was lingering in their restrooms. I realized that happened every time they had to clean a table. I think they use the same cleaner that they use for the restrooms to clean the tables. Perhaps it's an all purpose cleaner, but the scent was really off putting. To make matters worse, my husband wanted to try some of my pho (he got a Vietnamese sandwich) so we asked for a bowl on the side. We didn't know until we went to pay that they had charged us extra to split a bowl--on top of the already ridiculously priced bowl of pho. Between the long strand of hair in my drink, the lack of price transparency, and feeling like I was eating in a restroom at times, my lunch that day was not pleasant, to say the least. We won't be returning.

The vibe is perfect for that--low pressure, relaxed, and easy to just sit down and focus while you eat. One thing I really like is that you can order right from the kiosk at your table. After talking to people all day for work, I honestly appreciate that more than anything. That said, if you prefer a more traditional experience, they're happy to take your order too--I saw them do that for another table with no problem. I usually get the brisket pho, and it's always really good. This time I also tried a fried roll that came with this super pink sauce that I was honestly a little skeptical about at first--but it was so good. I ended up dipping everything in it, even my brisket. Definitely getting that again. Overall, it's just a really solid spot with good food and an easy, comfortable atmosphere. I used to receive Mom's vietnamese home cooking frequently and I lived near the Asian hubbubs with easy access to all the cuisine, but now I have to discover new places here in Washington to satiate my taste buds. Everything I've tried so far has been good. I've been content. But here!! I ordered takeout through Doordash, and as soon as I picked up my food, an aroma of so many flavors filled up my car. Parking is kinda annoying since it's on the street but I arrived within 30 mins of opening hours so it wasn't terrible yet. The restaurant already had at least a table or so, with customers, so I wouldn't be surprised if it got busier later. There's a fair amount of space and tables for hungry stomachs! The food was about ready by the time I arrived, and the 30 min drive home left me feeling famished and ready to dig in. Thankfully, I was not disappointed. Everything was packaged well so that nothing spilled during the car ride, and everything was so yummy! I ordered more than I originally intended... I was craving com tam (broken rice) and couldn't find a satisfactory place near my residence, so I drove all the way here to Tacoma.. and then I figured, I might as well order their Banh Xeo too! The photos online made it look so good, and it ended up tasting amazing! Slightly crispy and stuffed just enough with bean sprouts, meat, and other goodies. Perfect after drizzling some of the sauce over it. The Com Tam was also made well, and definitely hit my cravings with its classic ingredients. I ordered a Large Pho Bo Vien (meatball) for my son, and was sooo tempted to eat some myself. The broth smelled fresh and the noodles were cooked nicely. Decent portions for everything, too. I definitely need to return to try out more of their food. So far, it has made me one happy Viet gal :)

I don't live nearby, but I ended up grabbing a stamp card, so there's a good chance I'll come back eventually for the drinks alone. I ordered a chrysanthemum tea with boba along with a banh mi. The drink was probably the highlight of my visit since it was super refreshing, flavorful, and made pretty quickly too. Definitely quenched my thirst. The ordering process was a little awkward though. There was one guy working the front and I had a hard time hearing/understanding him at first (maybe he was speaking too quietly?), but it became easier once we switched to Vietnamese. He also didn't seem to recognize the drink I wanted even after I gave the menu number, so I had to point it out on the menu before he could ring it up correctly. I'm guessing he might've been new. The banh mi took longer than expected considering the place was empty, probably because from what I could see, there was only one lady in the back making food. Taste-wise, it was decent but nothing especially memorable for me, and the size felt smaller compared to other places I've ordered from. I think the banh mi only came in one size. Usually, I'd order a Large so maybe that's why this one seems small. There were at least a couple tables inside so I could sit and wait. I still had a good experience though and would come back mainly for the drinks because that chrysanthemum tea was genuinely really good. They have tons of options so I wanna try out their other drinks too.
