They assumed we wanted Poke sauce and put in on all of our bowls before asking, the rice has no flavor, and there aren't very many topping choices. Even though they're similar, I would choose IC Poke by Whole Foods over this one. They have the burrito option, better flavor choices and they wait for your order before putting it together. Heard from some friends about this place, and thought I give it taste. Overall, delicious, and portion size is generous. Started with regular bowl, half brown/ half white rice, then chose the albacore & salmon with all the sides. Finished off with dynamite sauce which was very tasty. They have a variety of drinks, but what's. good with poke sushi? Japanese beer with poke sushi~ Restaurant is clean and has a cafe type ambiance. I was so excited to learn of a new poke spot in Redmond because I often visit the area for Marymoor's off-leash park. And usually a day at the park with your dog entails a bite out to eat afterwards, and poke is just one of those dishes I can't stop chowing down on. We came here on a Sunday, and it was easy to find, as the location is on the first floor of an apartment building right across Stone House. There's street parking, which is easy to find, but I believe the apartment building it's located at also provides guest parking. Since Hello Poke just opened last week - they were featuring a buy one, get one bowl half-off, which was nice during our visit for two people. For the large option - it comes with three scoops for $11.95, regular portion includes two scoops for less than 10 bucks, and all of the bowls are build-your-own. For beverages - they have Hawaiian juices, pop, beer and coconut water - which I especially like! Plus, the place is dog-friendly and does have some outdoor seating. For my large bowl, I had a scoop of spicy tuna and two scoops of salmon. For the spicy tuna - it was not cut up fish, but rather, minced fish, which was a little surprising since I had not seen it served like that before. But it actually had a nice, chilled flavor to it. When you're customizing your bowl, the employee will ask if you want it spicy or not spicy, and since I love spicy - he added a sauce on mine with a ton of red chili flakes. I also got mine with Dynamite Sauce, as he explained that it's made with spicy mayo and teriyaki. Overall, the bowl was fine. Nothing really wow'ed me, and I was mostly disappointed by the lack of flavor it had. Unlike at other poke places, they do not stir the fish with the sauce, but drizzle it on top of all of your toppings. This affected the overall taste of the meal, so wasn't too keen on the drizzled sauce on top versus mixed in - which I prefer. I would recommend asking for more sauce since they drizzle it, to ensure you get a lot of the flavor from the sauce. I was also surprised by the lack of teriyaki flavor I tasted, since apparently, the Dynamite Sauce includes this flavor. Another disappointment I had with the bowl was that the mango and pickled radish were too finely cut, so the pieces of the fruit weren't big enough to really taste. The server also skimps out on the toppings, so you don't get as much, compared to other poke places. I did like the added spice to the bowl from opting for the spicy option, but can't say this place has me returning any time soon. Glad to know it's in an area I frequent, but wouldn't go out of my way for the particular poke spot for my poke cravings. read more

Hello Poké is my go-to spot on the Eastside when I'm craving poké. The location is super convenient and I used to work across the street, so it was super quick to grab lunch. I love that they don't premix sauces with the fish because it allows you to essentially make unlimited customizations to your own preference, instead of being stuck with whatever premade combos other places may have. My favorite order is a half/half rice and salad bowl with tuna and salmon. I always add the poke sauce and sesame oil. They have a great variety of mix-ins and sauces, so there should be something for everybody. I always add corn, seaweed salad, crab, mango, edamame, cucumber, red onions, and cilantro. I love the citrus ponzu and spicy aioli sauces (definitely ask to mix and match because there's nothing worse than a dry poké or salad bowl). Also, don't forget to add crispy onions and tempura on top because the crispness adds great texture and flavor! Everything is always very fresh and flavorful. The prices are very comparable to other poké spots and it is totally worth it. Definitely check out this place and ask for a punch card if you become a regular like me :) read more

So happy Hello Poke is open again! After visiting multiple poke places multiple times, it is without a doubt the best poke around. After renovations, the touch screens make ordering and going through sauce and other options seamless. They also added menu options likes a kid's bowl and crab salad (and other cooked options) as protein options so it's easy to find something for everyone while we get out poke kick in. This was my first time here. I ordered 2 large Poke bowl. I think size of a bowl was little skimpy for a large bowl and little pricey. Also i think people behind counter serving were less friendly and hesitant in giving more food especially vegetables. I also got avocado and 3 different sauces and i was charged extra for sauces. They didn't even mention that avocado will be extra as well. I ask them about one of the sauce and i was told look behind the counter glass. Pretty good poke and not terrible prices; however, I have been places that were much cheaper. The service was quick but not super friendly and could've be a lot better. I got a large bowl which is 3 proteins and it wasn't worth the price compared to the regular bowl. But it was a pretty good bowl so I don't have a lot to complain about. The place is clean but a little small so I would order out. Parking is easy if you order out because there is a space for 15 min parking near by but if you are planning to dine in parking is probably gonna be a challenge. Ummm yum! I didn't know poke could be improved upon...it's pretty great but this place takes it to the next level. The prices are reasonable, they have AMAZING fish quality. The portion sizes are super small, only filling the container half way, and prices are high. 2 out of the 3 times I go, the store is closed during open hours. This is by far one of the best poke's I have had so far. When it comes to poke or sushi, it's not easy to meet my expectations because the quality and freshness of raw fish are very important to me. In that regards, I am very satisfied with Hello Poke. You get a variety of base and toppings to choose from, and portions are huge. I don't like when the restaurants get stingy with toppings. I got a half salmon and half spicy tuna with all toppings (free except for avocado) and it got me full. Inside the restaurant, it almost reminds me of a beautifully decorated cafe, which I took an advantage of taking pictures to post to my Instagram!
