    Chicken Teriyaki (I mixed it)

I'm a teenager and I was doing my robotics class when I was hungry so I went to this restaurant and I asked the employee, "What can I get under $20? " and he recommended one of the specials and then I asked if how much a soda would be, and him knowing that I wouldn't be able to get one, gave one on the house and said "don't worry, it's on me!" I was very satisfied with the chicken teriyaki.

Checked out this Teriyaki place hidden in Redmond,WA tucked away around Microsoft. It's pretty good if you wanna stop by and grab food.

Charming and plesent teriyaki place friendly customer service and a nice atmosphere. The chicken teriyaki itself is hot juicy tasty and delicious. With bonus it's in an office park thus there's lots of parking.

One of the tastiest teriyaki I've had. I got the spicy beef teriyaki which was scrumptious.

This place is flying completely under the radar, but worth scouting out if you're in the area! Not far from the MSFT campus sits this small shop dishing out flavorful teriyaki plates. There's other Chinese dishes, but the teriyaki is where the money's at. We got their chicken teriyaki and chicken katsu and both were simple and tasty. Each run $12. The teriyaki was similar to that of Toshi's in Kirkland with a big portion! The meat was grilled well and had the smoky char flavor that I love so much. There was just the right amount of teriyaki sauce drizzled over the top of it. Two scoops of rice came with it as well as a simple and fresh salad. Katsu was chicken thigh meat, which was flavorful; just a little on the dry side. Big portion as well with 2 scoops of rice. With the pandemic reducing their foot traffic, I'm happy to see that they've stayed open. I can only imagine how much business they had when MSFT office employees were on campus! These are the places that I'm happy to support and will continue to do so. It's simple comfort food done well with fresh ingredients. The staff is nice and friendly and the place is clean, with plenty of hand sanitizer and contactless payment options. The entrance faces 40th in the business park. Plenty of parking and a few scattered tables in the vicinity if you want to eat outside. They have 2 socially distant tables inside currently. I'll certainly be back! #supportlocal

First thing I noticed when I looked at the menu was that the prices are very LA, but before you let that deter you, hear me out: the portion sizes are significantly larger than what you'd get for the same price back home. So in terms of value, you're actually getting a much better deal out here in Redmond. One thing that genuinely caught me off guard; they let me bring my puppy. If you're from LA or the 626, you already know that's basically unheard of. Redmond, Washington is on a whole different level when it comes to being pet friendly, and I loved every second of it. As for the food, it was great overall. The mala wasn't too numbing, which I appreciated, it had just enough kick without overwhelming everything else. The garlic a-choy was perfect, honestly no notes. The braised pork belly was good but I wished it was a touch softer, and I personally felt like my dishes could've used a little more salt or soy sauce, but that's an easy fix and purely personal preference. Would definitely come back next time I'm in the area.

Noodle Nine delivers a genuinely authentic dining experience that feels like stepping into a slice…read moreof everyday Asia rather than a polished, commercialized version of it. From the moment you walk in, the cultural atmosphere stands out--many of the patrons are Asian, and on my visit, a few were even dressed in traditional garments, which added a vibrant, lived-in feel to the space. It's the kind of detail you can't manufacture, and it speaks volumes about the restaurant's credibility within the community. The interior itself is fairly average--nothing particularly modern or upscale--but it doesn't detract from the experience. If anything, it keeps the focus where it belongs: on the food. Service was a bit of a mixed bag. There were only two servers handling the floor, and they were clearly stretched thin. Ordering is done digitally, which helps streamline things, but you can still feel the strain during peak times. That said, the food started arriving quickly--our tofu noodle dish came out almost immediately, while the beef dish lagged behind a bit. Presentation leans traditional in a charming way. The plates and chopsticks have that classic, no-frills aesthetic that complements the overall vibe of the restaurant. Now, let's talk about the food. First, a word of caution: spice levels here are no joke. If you're sensitive to heat, you'll want to dial it down. But if you can handle it, the flavors are absolutely worth it--rich, bold, and deeply satisfying. The tofu was exceptionally soft, almost silky, and clearly freshly prepared. The noodles matched that texture perfectly--tender, well-cooked, and comforting. Pricing is another strong point. For the quality and portion sizes, it's very reasonable, making it an easy spot to revisit without hesitation. Overall, Nine Noodles is a great pick if you're looking for authentic flavors, a culturally immersive atmosphere, and solid value. It's not about fancy decor or polished service--it's about good, honest food. I'd definitely come back.

My friend and I decided to check out Lee's Kitchen when we got off the Overlake Station on the 2 Line, and I kid you not, we waited over an hour for our food. Lee's Kitchen is located in a business strip close to Microsoft, walking distance from the Overlake Station. There are plenty of places to eat around here and you should eat at those places if you're on a lunch break and need to get back to work because Lee's Kitchen is really on their own schedule. No shits given. We visited on a Wednesday afternoon around lunch time and were the only ones dining in for most of the time we were here. Most of the tables had not been cleared, so they must've had a rush of people before we visited. There's a QR code at the table where you can order and pay for your food. I ordered the braised pork belly with rice and shared the rice noodle roll with shrimp and beef with my friend. He ordered the wonton noodle soup, which took over an hour to get. My meal came out first and then eventually the rice noodle roll dish came. And then half an hour later after sitting there, the server comes by and tells my friend they ran out of bamboo noodles, which is what he requested for his dish. Over half an hour later, he received his food. Was it worth the wait? No. Sadly, I can't recommend Lee's Kitchen especially with how many more fantastic Chinese restaurants there are nearby. Service is lackluster with food that does not impress or would have me visit again. Not for me and it shouldn't be for anyone on a schedule.

I got the default wide noodles, but you can pick the thinner round noodles. Came out pretty quickly after ordering. Decent sized bowl, with a variety of beef offal pieces like tripe, tendon, maybe even intestine along with some meat pieces. Also has daikon and bok choy. The soup is slightly spicy and peppery, but not overly so. Nice savory flavor. Price was $20+ with tax and tip. Solid place for a quick bowl of noodles or rice.

But the food was delicious and the broth was great and the price was fine and I would be happy to come back here if I had reason to. (My office...gives me food, so I'm not all that likely to come here on a weekday, unfortunately.) Bon is located in the same plaza as H-Mart and so they have a shared parking lot or you could walk over from Redmond Town Center which is just a block away. The inside is surprisingly large with at least twenty tables, which is bigger than most Korean restaurants that I've seen on the Eastside. At 11:45am on a Saturday, my group of three had no problem getting a table. Their menu is extensive and has all the Korean food classics including seafood pancake, soondubu (stone pot tofu soup), galbi jjim (beef stew), Toppokki, bibimbap, and cold noodles (spicy and non-spicy versions). Their entrees are around $20 each, but some larger hot pot dishes (meant for 2-3 people) can be up to $70. I ordered the BULGOGI BIBIMBAP (~$24). Unfortunately they don't serve stone pot Bibimbap here, but the portions are large and beautifully presented. My dish came with plenty of fresh vegetables- pickled carrots and cucumbers, sesame bean sprouts, daikon kimchi, lettuce, and marinated black mushrooms (which I've never had in Bibimbap before but was soooo good) on top a bed of fluffy white rice! The egg was cooked perfectly over easy and the meat was marinated well too- I do wish the dish came with more meat though. They give you your typical sweet and spicy gochujang red sauce on the side as well as white vinegar and mustard sauce for added flavor. Service was fantastic and you get complimentary hot tea and ban chan (which are refillable). The ban chan included cucumber kimchi, daikon kimchi, sesame bean sprouts, kimchi, fish cake, and sesame choy. All employees were very friendly and made you feel at home. The inside is clean, but the only reason I'm giving them 4 stars is that they have an Okay health rating and not a Good or Excellent health rating.
