I saw pics of really cool looking donuts on Yelp, but when I went here, I didn't find any of those special looking donuts. The shop is very cute and very pink on the inside. Guy at the counter was nice. The donuts here looked like they're cake donuts (kinda small too)... I didn't see any raised donuts. I ordered 2 donuts (1 strawberry and 1 pumpkin). Both were pretty good. The quality of the cake donut is like none other I've had before. It was like a cake donut, dense but not as crumby as typical cake donuts. I also liked the pumpkin seeds on the pumpkin donuts. If you eat it there, they have these cute porcelain plates you can eat them on. My only gripe here are the prices!! Each donut was $6. Donut today with just almond flour, egg butter, and monk fruit. Very welcoming owner and staff. I love mom and Pop shops like this. I was recommended here by somebody at reborn coffee. Unfortunately, I can't get past the squirming insect (I won't say the name, because it feels accusatory, but let's just say it rhymes with tockcoach) that I spotted on the floor. We had already ordered a donut and matcha Americano otherwise I would've suggested we leave. And I know those type of insects don't imply that a place is dirty, but on top of that the drink was not my favorite. I was sad when I heard that LeBerry had closed but happy when I found out a new vegan donut shop had taken its place. Hello You're Welcome had its grand opening on September 16th. I have to say, the name is cute & catchy. My visit was a week later, and I arrived a few minutes after they opened so fresh, warm donuts were still being brought out from the oven. I had the opportunity to chat with Amy (head baker), who was delightful. Espen was also very sweet. What was currently was available looked pretty & tempting. I selected the AB&J, which had an almond butter & jam filling coated with an almond butter glaze and topped with a mini berry glazed donut. These are not the typical yeast donuts. They are more like a Bundt cake but not as dense. The AB&J was moist and flavorful. The almond butter wasn't overpowering, and the jam added the right amount of sweetness. They also serve specialty coffee drinks made with Roast House Coffee, in addition to tea & cold brew nitro. Vegan, high protein, gluten free, sugar free, keto & paleo friendly donuts are also available. These delightful treats are not cheap. They run about $6 each but are worth every penny. read more

Lately I've been around town and checking out different coffee shops. So far I have to say the ambience is one of the better shops around. Decor just give you a very relax feeling . No deafening music or real tight space. Donuts are a bit pricey but definitely a nice place to hang out have a sweet treat. Donuts are vegan if that matters. Textures are chewy kind not the soft dough. Ube coconut was much sweeter than the S'mores if that is possible. They also have suggestion pairings for their treats. I've been wanting to stop by this new cafe since they were featured on Eater LA, mostly to try out their keto donuts. To my surprise when I went, they didn't have just 1 flavor, but 4 flavors of Keto Donuts! This cafe has many other varieties of donuts including gluten free options. Also, I found out they have breakfast foods: Frittatas, egg sandwiches, etc. I ordered a Frittata and they heated it up in the oven. The Frittata turned out to be really flavorful. The vegetables and herbs paired well with the fluffy egg and creamy cheese mix. We also got a single origin coffee and 2 donuts, a maple keto donut and a regular pumpkin vanilla one. Forgot about parking: there's street parking, but I parked at the Paeso garage nearby and got my ticket validated at a Starbucks. Street parking is sometimes hard to find. Overall, this cafe is welcoming to everyone and has a variety of tasty desserts and breakfast foods. Highly recommend checking it out, I plan to stop by often after my first experience! read more

Came here on a Sunday around noon to grab a donut for my niece. She's allergic to eggs, so I was glad to find a shop serving vegan donuts. In terms of parking, I was able to snag a spot on the street - I don't believe they have a lot or anything, so street parking is likely your best bet. When I arrived, the shop wasn't busy at all and I was greeted by the worker. I shared my niece's allergies and the worker was very thorough in confirming that none of the vegan donuts contained any of the other allergens (peanuts and sesame). I decided to go with the chocolate donut with sprinkles wbu h came out to $5.51 including tax. $5 per donut is a bit steep, but I'm guessing it's the going rate for vegan donuts. My niece ended up really enjoying it, so I'd definitely return if I were to get her another donut. I first visited Hello You're Welcome when it initially opened a few years ago. Honestly, that experience was holistically really, really bad. Because of that experience, I did not return until yesterday. I was really craving something sweet and being dairy free and gluten free really limits my options, so I decided to give them another shot. Let me tell you, it was a night and day difference !!! It was truly like walking into a completely different business. Every single one of the staff members were amazing! So warm and so welcoming! We came towards the end of the day when they were celebrating their second birthday, so they didn't have the widest selection of pastries left, but the two donuts we had were absolutely delicious. We had a strawberry donut and a maple espresso donut. So flavorful and not overly sweet. We also ordered an oat milk cappuccino and their signature "No Smoking" cortado. I will say the espresso used in our drinks was not our preference. It was very tangy and acidic tasting with almost wine notes. It was really off-putting and definitely did not make the drinks enjoyable. It seems like they use an array of different beans and suppliers, so I'm not sure what they defaulted to in our drinks, but I would be good never having that espresso ever again in my life. I would definitely clarify and specify the type of espresso the next time I order coffee with them. Coffee aside, Hello You're Welcome is a really amazing shop. It's nice to see a gluten free bakery. Bought a few pastries to take home. However after putting them in a box, they give you a screen with large lettering asking for 18%, 22% or 25% gratuity. Yes, in the very small print, there is a no tip option, and most people want to be generous, but is this getting out of hand? If it had been a smaller request for simply putting them in a box, I wouldn't have felt so uncomfortable. It doesn't make the experience so positive. Wow! I've been meaning to try the savory options at this place and was pleasantly surprised at the great texture and flavor of the biscuits. This is their season item of the bacon, egg & cheese biscuit. Don't be fooled by how big of a portion it is because the biscuit is very light and airy with a great crumble, and the flavors and moisture from the bacon, egg and cheese compliment the whole food item as a whole. Upon arriving, it was difficult to find the place because it is new and the signs aren't quite up yet. There is ample amount of parking near and around the cafe. The interior was beautifully decorated and clean and inviting. Staff was so friendly and explained ind retail about all the items and the ingredients thoroughly. Finally, a place where I can enjoy treats that are gluten free and have good for you ingredients. I purchased a half dozen doughnuts, of which I've so far tried the rose and creme brulee. The rose doughnut was perfectly balanced sweet, light and delicious. The creme brulee doughnut was also delicious and light.
