This is a new donut shop/bakery on Colorado Blvd that replaced where Leberry used to be. I walk by the area often, so I noticed when there was work being done inside. After I walked by and noticed it was open, I stopped to try it out. I got a maple pecan donut and a tomato & kale egg biscuit. The maple pecan donut was good but nothing special. They have a lot of other interesting flavors that I want to try next time. The egg biscuit was super filling and dense (not in a bad way, it just made me so full haha). Very unique biscuit that was the shape of a muffin, I liked the savory flavors and I haven't had a biscuit like this before. The donuts/pastries are a little pricey but I think it's worth the splurge for their fancier flavors. The owners/employees were really nice and helpful and there's something for everyone. Loved this shop! I bake a lot and recently had to stop eating gluten for health reasons. This place is a definite repeat visit for me. They have so many gluten free options. To speak to the quality of the items, I literally did not believe their gluten free chocolate chip cookie was gluten free at first! It was so good. I've literally had worse chocolate chip cookies made with gluten at other bakeries, I was so impressed. My other favorite items are the scones and the ding dongs. I came to this place for the gluten-free donuts and online presence, was excited to try! The employees that have helped me are always friendly and the shop is run very efficiently. It's overall a quiet place to sit and I enjoy the vibe they give off - peaceful, positive, light. They have lots of unique options, which is great if you're an explorer! I've tried several of their donuts, and can pretty confidently give an overarching review of them. For one, they're all very sweet and their flavors are very obvious. However, I think if you're like me and you don't usually reach for max sweetness, these may be an overload. I also noticed that a lot of them are on the drier side, forgivable since they're gluten-free, but also very greasy. Your fingers will have oil all over them after handling one donut. I think the biscuit thing, the size of a muffin, was $8, and we had a chai as well. So for a single drink and 2 small/medium food items it was $21 before tax and tip. Not absurd in my opinion, but not cheap either. Given what Starbucks charges for crap that gets shipped to them in plastic bags, seems reasonable for products freshly made in house. Support small businesses! The staff all seemed very friendly. And certainly an excellent choice if you have gluten issues or are vegan/dairy free! I've eaten many, many kinds of vegan donuts due to a lifelong, severe dairy allergy. Almost every vegan AND gluten-free donut I've had is overly sweet with a deplorable texture... THIS IS NOT THAT. Today, I ate the blueberry mojito donut, and I can confirm that it is the best vegan + gluten-free donut I've ever eaten. The texture is airier than I anticipated, soft, and moist. It's an impeccably balanced donut with an excellent balance of sweetness. The blueberry mojito icing was applied with care and clearly made with fresh blueberries and mint. Came here to try the GF options pretty close to the time they closed and they still had a selection left! The interior is quite nice and barista station looks very fancyyyyyyy. The best donuts were definitely the maple pecan one/ the vanilla pumpkin. Both are gluten free but had great texture and flavors. I didn't really care for the strawberry or blueberry, I found the texture to be nice but felt it had a strange aftertaste to me. I visited today for the first time with a friend and we purchased one of each flavor donut that was left (so 9 donuts total) and two drinks. I got a brown sugar cardamom latte and my friend got an iced latte. Everything was so good!!! The service was excellent. Zach worked at the front and Leah was the barista. They were so friendly and explained everything. The store is beautiful and very clean. I can't wait to go back and try the savory breakfast items and more donuts and drinks. I have come here a few times now. Their pastries are second to none in the gluten free category, and some of their stuff is among the best gluten pastries I ever had. Their chocolate chip cookie is simply the best that exists. I met their pastry chef today, and it's clear that she is extremely dedicated, and knowledgeable, and it shows in what the cafe has to offer. As long as she is in their employ I can't really see any other gluten free cafe in the area coming close to them in quality. The atmosphere is also very calm and welcoming. It's got a nice aesthetic without being too quirky or pretentious. My only gripe is that they often sell out of their best items before noon, and they close at 3pm so you have to get there early. I have been informed that they are attempting to compensate, but so far it's not always enough! read more

My daughters surprised me with a beautiful and delicious tea party at this wonderful place. They have a full service restaurant in Temecula (which I've not been to) so when asked if they could hold a full tea party, they said yes! Not only did they totally accommodate my gf diet, but they also sweetened scones and donuts with monk fruit for another guest! The location is convenient and the store is clean and nicely presented. The food is not bad. The staff, however, heavily dampered and disappointed my experience. They were cliquey and chatty amongst themselves, but detached and transactional when interacting with customers. As if performing their work duties was an inconvenience. I watched them make customers who ate there feel as if they were invading the workers' space. It was hard not to notice the employees pushing their very hardest to achieve the barest minimum. In reading other positive reviews/photos, I can only deduce that the white staff was deliberately underperforming because the mix of customers was non-white.
