First thing I have to say... This is not Gordon Ramseys Restaurant, so please don't get excited to go and be mad when it's not him. I will say? Cheaper prices for SURE lol. I go to HK too many times. The place is everything you can ask for in a bar. Cheap drinks, great food, happy hour damn near all day and the staff are always nice. They are always playing good music, going thru their slideshow on the tv with everyone up there (except me for some reason), or they got the game on and everyone is feening for a spot at the bar. When I work in downtown they are always a viable option for food and when I'm out on the weekends they are the place to go for a nice drink and maybe a pre snack before the main event of the night or the food that's gonna get me through until I get home from a great night. Also! They have daily deals! Monday they have Pizza and Wine half off, Tuesday they have margs for cheap and some tacos and quesadillas on sale, Wednesday is Steak Dinner Date night (2 for $22 bucks you can't beat that anywhere), and Thursday is the day you'll see me for burger night with $2 PBRs. We were heading back from Fort Mason after a full day of sightseeing and were definitely ready for a good meal. While walking downtown, we came across Hell's Kitchen and decided to stop in. It's a cute little pub with a small bar area and seating for maybe 10-12 tables( cozy, casual, and welcoming. We ordered hot dogs, hamburgers, cheese sticks, and the burnt ends appetizer with mashed potatoes. Everything was genuinely delicious, and we all finished our plates. My daughter, my niece, and I especially loved the burnt ends. They were flavorful, tender, and honestly big enough to pass as a full dinner. Definitely a highlight. The only thing to note is that the prices were a bit on the higher side, but since it's downtown (I think), that might just be normal for the area. We're visiting from out of state, so it's hard to compare. Still, it was a great spot for a quick bite after a long day, and we left happy and full. Hell's Kitchen has quickly become one of my go-to spots, and for good reason. Their burgers are everything juicy, hot, perfectly seasoned, and served with that fresh-off-the-grill flavor. Burger Night with a cold beer is my favorite time to visit, but their menu has plenty of other delicious specials throughout the week. Honestly, I don't know who's back in that kitchen, but every plate I've ordered tastes like it was made with love the kind of care and seasoning that reminds you of a home-cooked meal. Stopped in on a Wednesday night and was not disappointed! We popped in around 6:45 as a party of 7 with no reservation. They seated us quickly despite being rather busy. For our appetizers we got the southwest egg rolls, nachos, seafood nachos, and the Nashville hot pizza. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM WAS PERFECTION. The overall winner was the pizza. The signature honey hot was *chefs kiss. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and it was good but I prefer for the tomato slices to be diced a little smaller. It was also a little different than I expected on a sundried tomato basil tortilla. My fries were incredibly salty so I didn't end up eating a lot of them. They accidentally gave me Mac n cheese but that was very tasty! Our server was awesome and incredibly knowledgeable of the menu. Review is for takeout. I ordered lunch online from here while staying right around the corner at The Main. It had just opened at 12 pm, so they weren't busy at all. We came right at the time to be ready for pickup, and it still wasn't ready. It was ready about 10 minutes later. We ordered a cheesesteak and fries, a cheeseburger and fries, and two sodas. My cheeseburger was very good. The only thing I must note was that I had asked for a medium well burger, and it was very pink inside. Their fries were different, but I loved them! They were smaller sliced potatoes instead of long. Hubby stated that his cheesesteak, although yummy, had a burger texture and taste instead of the usual cheesesteak. Overall, the food was good, but I failed to cook my burger the way I wanted. For that, I have to give them four stars. read more

I was greeted immediately and given a menu. It looks a bit divey but cool. The staff was super attentive but not hovering. The menu is a mish-mash of favorites. So there's all sorts of choices. One of our favorite restaurants was closed, so we headed over here, and we are so happy we did. The crab soup was absolutely delicious, and so was the crab dip. I was so hungry I didn't even get a picture of the seafood Alfredo pasta, that was also very delicious. My husband's buffalo chicken cheesesteak wasn't the best, but he really enjoyed the asparagus and nibbling off of my food. The service was good, our waitress was attentive, and everybody was really friendly. Everything seems fairly clean in here, we did not use the bathroom, but I presume it would be clean as well. My co workers and I set up a reservation here after work on a Wednesday night. When we came in, it was good vibes with some music playing and our tables already set and ready for us. I guess for a basic bite to eat this place has better reviews than some of the other nearby spots which lead me here but I was still pretty disappointed in my dinner. The service was great. Waitress was very attentive and checked back often. I chose this place for the egg rolls but unfortunately they were out tonight. We considered going elsewhere to dine but it was so cold out that we just stayed here. I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap. Food took about 20 min to come out. The wrap came before the wings. It was mostly lettuce. The chicken that was on there was over cooked and dried out. The lukewarm fries were good. My boyfriend got the wings. He said they were ok. He asked for carrots/celery but they didn't have any to offer. The environment was loud. They were pretty busy when we got there around 6:30pm so we snagged a booth in the back. The people next to us were SO LOUD. Usually not a business flaw but they had employees coming up and chatting with them often so I got the sense they were regulars or employees themselves. The one guy was literally yelling in my ear. Between that and the music that was playing there wasn't anywhere to move to or else I would have in a heartbeat. It was about a $25 bill. I've passed by this place so many times and had no clue it was located on Granby street. Super low-key. I had heard about their food/apps and drinks from a friend of mine and was excited to try it out. I stopped in midweek after work and luckily it was during Happy Hour (Monday-Saturday, 4-7 by the way!). There were a handful of people there and not much action. I opted for the Crab Dip, which was paired with a sliced mini baguette. The crab dip was pretty good...would I order it again? Probably not since there was more mayo than crab meat. We attended the Winterfest light show aboard the USS Wisconsin, afterwards we walked down the street, adjacent to the parking garage, to Hell's Kitchen for dinner. We solely chosen this location based on its high review scores on Google. Upon walking in, we were sadly underwhelmed. The large bar was crowded and excessively loud. Probably because of the college football game being televised. The opposite side of the establishment had only a handful of tables...all occupied. However, we were seated at a booth next to the bar. Not exactly our ideal seating but at least we were seated upon arriving. ( Just three of us, my daughter, wife and myself). My wife and I ordered the Maryland She Crab soup. It was flavorful, but it was a bit on the cool side. My daughter ordered the cheese steak sandwich, my wife and I ordered the steak sandwich. My wife and I received our meal at the same time. This sandwich comes with a slice of onion, lettuce and tomato and a side of fried potato slices. My tomato might as well been tossed as it was a slice of a tomato hard core and was inedible. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium and was seasoned nicely. I was almost completed my meal when I realized that my daughter was still waiting for her meal ! She said her cheesesteak sandwich was very good once she began her meal. The waitress made numerous stops at our booth to refill our beverages. After a day or two have past since this visit, we have come to conclude that because of the event going on at the USS Wisconsin, and the televised sporting event created overcrowding and added to the loudness at the bar which we were seated next too. That being said, there is no excuse to be served luke warm soup and unappetizing condiments with the meal. If it's something that they wouldn't care to eat themselves, they shouldn't expect patrons to eat it. Maybe these issues were due to the busyness of the two cooks on duty. Maybe this establishment is much better when it's not as busy, maybe we arrived on an off day.. either way, I don't think I will be dinning here again. read more

Service was friendly but rare. Food was okay... but much too spicy. I had asked for an alternative, like some mayo on the side for the spicy tartar sauce, and was told she couldn't. Burger was good. Galley fries, which were actually chips, were interesting. Mac and cheese was a little bland. Between the music, lack of service, and over-the-top spice level of the food, they really want you to believe you're in hell. This place can't decide if it wants to be a dive bar or a quirky restaurant. We won't be back. read more

Pasta was way under cooked and serveed with cold Alfredo sauce. the crab cakes tasted good but were iced cold. Not surprised seeing that the plate was sitting waiting to be brought to our table for 20 minutes. Fastest service we got was after the 5th time we asked for silverware. My friend and I came here last night for a quick bite. Inside, the restaurant is dimly lit, and tables well-spaced. Restaurant was packed at 7pm but we managed to snag the last table that wasn't reserved. After looking over the menu, we both decided to get the $25 ribeye that comes with two sides. I got the ribeye medium with garlic green beans and broccoli and my friend opted for the ribeye medium with green beans and asparagus. Food took about 25-30 minutes to arrive. Steaks were generally well cooked, though the flavor was definitely lacking. This is not a steakhouse but it certainly isn't rocket science to properly season a steak.. -_-" Both of us agreed that the stars of the dish were definitely the vegetables! Loll My first experience at HK was okay. Customer service was pretty good; waitress was pleasant and consistent.
