CRASH OUT- Screen shot the insane business owner melissa…read more I'm writing to report a very poor and unprofessional experience I had with your contracted repair service, Custom Tool Repair. I drove from Tracy to Fremont to drop off my carpet cleaner for repair. When I arrived, Melissa informed me that Abraham was at the shop, but it took him about 30 minutes to come outside. Doors locked, windows blocked. When he finally did, he seemed unaware of why I was there and gave me a receipt with no shop or contact information. After two weeks, I was told that my machine had been fixed and was ready for pickup. On the day I planned to pick it up (Monday), I was called into work early and informed Melissa that I'd return the following day--she agreed. Around 9:00 PM, Melissa texted me saying I could pick up my machine in the morning because Abraham would be sleeping at the shop and would be there. However, around 1:30 AM, she texted again saying there had been an accident and Abraham had to go to the hospital. I told her that was fine and asked if someone would be available the next day. She said she would meet me at 4:00 PM. When I arrived at the shop the next day, no one was there. I called and texted multiple times with no response. At that point, I filed a complaint with Rug Doctor about the contractor's lack of professionalism. After Melissa found out about my complaint, she began sending me a series of angry and inappropriate text messages over the next 30 minutes. She expressed anger that I had reported them and stated, "At this point I could care less about being a professional." She then insulted me multiple times, telling me I had "zero common sense" and calling me "insane." When I told her that I would include our conversation in an online review, she threatened me with legal action and even threatened to contact my employer for reasons she did not explain. She also said I was "lucky" she didn't leave my carpet cleaner outside her shop. After some time, Melissa appeared to realize how unprofessional she was being. Her tone shifted from angry to sarcastically polite, and she said she no longer wanted my machine in her shop. She asked for my home address so she could drop it off personally. I refused, and she suggested meeting at a neutral location (a Walmart) instead, which I agreed to simply to retrieve my machine. SHE ALSO DRAGGED HER 3 CHILDREN WITH HER TO MEET A STRANGER...inside of her red mini van is DISGUSTING. When we met I told her I didn't have anything to say to her, Melissa mockingly thanked me for my military service, saying, "I'm sure you kept us really safe." For context, I am a 100% disabled veteran with 10 years of military service and two combat tours. I have never been treated with such disrespect in my life especially after serving my country. Unfortunately, when I got my machine back, it was still not working. This entire experience has been extremely disappointing, disrespectful, and unprofessional by far the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I hope Rug Doctor will review this situation carefully and reconsider its relationship with Custom Tool Repair. AVOID AT ALL COST

I'm on Medicare and am thrilled to have finally found a DME who is honest about their relationship with Medicare, communicates clearly about it, accepts the Medicare assigned amount for supplies, and does not bill the patient beyond what they are supposed to bill us. This may sound simply like common sense and decency, but after 6 months of seeking a reputable DME since I started on Medicare, I've been astonished by the behavior I've experienced elsewhere, in contrast to CPAP Services. The pattern I noticed with prior DMEs was when I calmly mentioned that I knew what my benefits and the rules were, I was met with hostility, even yelled at. I later learned that those DMEs were trying to break Medicare rules and hadn't been forthright about their relationship with Medicare - which meant they could get away with charging a whole lot more than we should be charged. I am relieved and delighted to have found a DME who shows me respect, responds promptly, listens, and follows the rules. Especially if you're on Medicare, I encourage you to consider working with CPAP Services.

A Tool and His Money…read more Brought in an old Hilti rotohammer that they (Hilti) would no longer service and unfortunately he doesn't work on Hilti tools. While we didn't use his services, I do appreciate his no-nonsense attitude and honesty. I'll be back the next time one of my (non-Hilti) tools needs repairs. Also, fyi, not sure if any other reviewer has mentioned it, but he also sells old, working tools at great prices.

I left that place at 10:30 am because I had an appointment to catch at 11:00 am . The people there should communicate better to avoid this kind of discrepancy in the future. I used to get multiple calls from different people in the same office daily. I also got unwanted text and emails every single day. They are obnoxious. Because they would not respect my request to not be contacted. I ended up having to block incoming emails, calls, and texts from them. Save yourself the frustration of having to deal being contacted from an over priced telemarketer that values profit and harassment of people over providing good customer service that respects their ex customers wishes to be left alone.

Happened upon this place purely by accident a few short days after my mom took a nasty tumble and ended up breaking her ankle. Having her mobility taken from her so suddenly was super rough... and we just didn't know where to start. Luckily for us, there was an associate there by the name of Jonathan. He was such a blessing! He listened to our concerns, helped us look at different mobility devices and even helped my mom fix her knee scooter--which no one knew was incorrectly set-up from the beginning! We ended up purchasing a few more things like a cane cap, and some stockings for her walking boot... which I was surprised they had in stock. Overall, it was a very pleasant and informative experience... and I look forward to continuing my business with them in the future, should I need it. Shop local! You won't be disappointed. I called Dr. Dee to make an appointment as was able to get one for the same day…read more Dr. Dee came out during the specified window of time and was able to take apart my dryer, diagnose the problem and had the part on his van so my dryer worked again the same day I called for an appointment. We were very happy with this service and would call him again if we have any more large appliance issues.
