The food could have been much better. I ordered a chicken burrito and a fish taco. However, the grilled chicken in the burrito was undercooked and had a slight meat smell. The service, though, was good. read more

We hosted an event with 15 people at Hercules. It was a brilliant choice for our dinner gathering. The decor was unique and the ambiance was relaxing and cheerful. We started out with 3 appetizers, empanadas, burritos, and wedge salad, all of which were delectable. The entrees that followed were equally delicious......the halibut dish was a hit, but the ribye steak was quite sensational as well. Great service. Everyone was very attentive to our needs. I come here weekly! I don't leave a ton of reviews, but this place is fantastic. The chips and salsa are insane. I probably have 3 cups of salsa on my own. All the bartenders and Nico, the manager, are always so nice and welcoming. My girlfriend and I always like to sit at the bar. The decor and plants and art are all stellar and really leave me wanting to come back. The restrooms are always clean, there's insanely cheap happy hour, and it's very comfortable in this restaurant, I love it. (Side note; I don't drink and they have Corona 0.0 here, which is fantastic with some tacos) also, you MUST try the fried ice cream, it is INSANE. You are warned, you will be addicted to Hercules after one visit. read more

The Hercules margarita was really tasty and the tacos were good. They also have awesome chips and salsa. We got the shrimp ceviche which was nothing special. Still, the outdoor area is beautiful and comfortable. We will absolutely return and try some different dishes and drinks. read more

This place is the best! I hosted my husband's 40th birthday on their patio and it was amazing - the venue, food, and staff are all incredible! I worked with Kimberly, the manager, leading up to the event and she was honestly so helpful, responsive and sweet. Once we got there, the owner came out to say hello and all of the staff were so welcoming and kind. Everyone had a great time and were raving about the Birria tacos. We will definitely be back - recommend this place for just lunch/dinner or if you are looking to host an event! read more

Good food, good prices, friendly staff. I ordered a burrito and they accommodated my request to smother it in red enchilada sauce. Portion size was great, flavors were good. Overall, it was quick and easy to get to, with no problems parking. My husband got fish tacos and he enjoyed them a lot. Only reason not 5 stars is because it was good Mexican food but nothing to write home about. Just good not life changing. For kids they have a kids menu and bucket of crayons which was a great distraction for our 2 year old. read more

It was Taco Thursday for me. I stopped at Hercules for tacos last night. First time at this restaurant...surprizing because I live down the street. The best tacos I have ever eaten. I had three (3) of the Street Tacos; beef, chicken and pork. OMG, they were so yummy. I requested the corn tortilla to be done extra so the taco was still soft but a little crunchy; it was perfect. The salsa that came out with the tortilla chips was amazing. Defintely will be coming back. This will certainly because my favorite neighborhood restaurant. The service was excellant. I appreciated that the waitress told me she was new because she couldn't answer my questions but she immediately asked the kitchen and I got my answers. Sat inside; beautiful remodel. Large outside patio for dining too as well as a bar. Run don't walk to Hercules for the best tacos. read more

Meh. They only had a few customers, but it'd still took 20 minutes for a server to take our order. Maybe they were short staffed, but I don't think so, because other servers were helping diners. The chips were a bit on the stale side. We received our entrees, but needed to remind the server we had ordered an appetizer. She then admitted she forgot. The food was not anything special. Came here after seeing all the reviews. Had a very bad experience when it came to food itself . This is not vegetarian friendly . I specifically called restaurant before coming . Once I ordered just got enchiladas without any sauce or rice . Just paid 18 dollars plus tax for pinto beans , pick and three tortillas . And no cheese . We came to the restaurant and the server was good . The manager walked around to all the tables but ours. Like the one right next to ours and asked how there food was, but neglected to ask us. Just rude. Won't be back! Don't spend your money where they don't appreciate you, whatever the race. read more

Came here on Friday 10/28. This place is awful. Absolutely terrible service and our food never even came. Our waitress asked us how everything was a couple of times but disappeared when we asked for the status of our food. We ended up leaving and never got our meal. The manager offered to pack it up for us when we asked for the check but I'm still curious why it actually never came. Don't waste your time with this place. They don't know what they're doing. One star only for the hostess who was very nice. The rest of it was terrible. read more

We were so excited to try Hercules Draft House and they did not disappoint!!!! It was a totally enjoyable experience from start to finish. From the friendly host who seated us to the comfortable atmosphere and the attentive service, not to mention the food!!! The salsa is fresh and full of flavor and the Burria tacos were absolutely delicious! Cadillac margaritas were on point! We're looking forward to coming back again soon!! read more

We went to Hercules for the 1st time this week. Everything about it was outstanding. The food was delicious, and the service, with our server, Laura, couldn't have been better. The ambiance was right on. And the place was hopping. There are standard tables, and then there are elevated community tables for 8 or more. All of it was just right on. Reasonable prices and solid food. Service needs work (servers kept taking food to the wrong table), but that can be improved with time. Worth checking out next time you're in Los Gatos. They make their own tortillas too. read more
