Jose did a great job on my Corvette. He was very responsive and communicative. He's honest and competent. He's been working on cars since his teens, so he's experienced and knows his stuff. He advised me all along the way, letting me know what was going on and what he found and the associated costs. He told me to drive it around town for awhile first before returning home to Arizona to make sure that everything was working well. I know he works on all makes of cars, but it sure was a positive to see him drive up in *his* Corvette before he worked on mine! I highly recommend him and wish he was in Tucson. Call first to make an appointment, he's busy. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Called around a few places for steering column work and was referred to this shop by Touched by Pros. I had a bad turn signal switch and needed it replaced. They took me in immediately and delved into the steering column to find the problem and fix it for me. The best part, the fellas there are great to talk to AND kept me informed with every little issue/step that was being done. I also asked them to resurface 2 rotors that I had lying around and it was done super quick! Basically, the guys at Heritage Automotive took their time and were meticulous with their work. So I have done business with Jose 2x. The first time I got some body damage fixed and car looked great BUT the bumper wasn't attached that well. Jose told me that was because I needed a new headlight & that the bumper couldnt attach without the clips & my current one was missing 4. Well fast forward about 1yr maybe 2 years later. My car broke down so I decided to go back to him since he said he could fix the issues on my car. & could offer financing. I told him I believed it was a transmission issue but could he still look to make sure. Well he said there was no point. I go down & get approved for financing( I have no other options as I had just had a baby & needed a car) . Well I tell him to fix the headlight too since I want the bumper to be more secure. He supposedly gives me a used transmission that has 40k miles on it, brand new catalytic converter ( he called & said it needed to be replaced). Costing me around 3500 okay cool. Well after talking with him he says your transmission was just clogged & yet he STILL replaced it & didn't even call me to say hey I can unclog it & you don't need a whole other transmission put into your car. That was already a big red flag. So he tells me I have a 3 month warranty BUT gives me ZERO warranty papers. Also couldn't prove the transmission had 40k miles on it or that even had bought another one. His mom says I can give you a warranty paper so I'm like cool.. she walks outside & is like follow me then she goes to my car so at this point I'm super confused. She gets in my car & asks me to turn it on then takes a picture of my mileage on my car? How is that a warranty.. unfortunately no proof of services being performed. Don't have them do anything mechanical! Only allow them to do your body work.. they are good at that only read more
