This place is not life changing but not bad either! The servers took a bit of time to get to our table, but was friendly when she got there! There are lots of options on the menu as well as different style of pizzas. Personally, I don't think the veggie pizza had enough veggies or sauce so it ended up being a little dry. A different kind of pizza. Thick crust that you finish off with honey. I like it (although if you are from Chicago - you will think it is mediocre). I also like the other dishes and the side salads. Long waits during ski season. My kids love this place (and I do too). We are up in WP nearly every other weekend and we always make a stop here. Tip -- Call ahead and get on the wait list or be prepared to wait. Grab a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale (my favorite brew) while waiting and tell your favorite stories from the day of skiing/boarding. read more

We got lucky with a small party of 3 and only waited 45 minutes or so. Most were told 1.5 hours and some 2+! What's great? Pizza rocks. Choose the thick crust if you want to eat with honey for a dessert. I had half meatball and half Italian sausage sub. Great! Wings and cheesy bread were excellent too. Spent the day in Winter Park, and was in the mood for pizza. Their pizza is great! The crust was crispy and folded into the actually pizza, so it's not pure crust like other pizza joints. I created my own pizza using the Roma base. Fantastic. Quick service. Highly recommend. read more

Hernando's Pizza never disappoints us. We've been dinning since we were very little it's always a great experience. I've never been to Greece but their greek salad transports me directly to the soft beaches of Santorini. There is a perfect amount of feta while the dressing has an amazing ratio of olive oil to vinegar. 10/10 recommend their Greek salad. As for the pizza the ratio of sauce to cheese is impecable but they fell short on the crust which is why I would give it an 8.5/10. The cheesy bread was crispy but the cheese was a little chewy which is why I would give it an 8.3. Our bill came out to around $80 after 2 large pizzas, a large Greek salad, and cheesy bread. Overall Hernando's pizza is an affordable restaurant that will leave you filled and happy! Overall rating is a 8.7/10. read more

Absolutely Amazing food! Totally worth the wait. Call ahead to help shorten the wait time. We didn't call ahead & they told us it would be 45-60 minutes. It turned out to only be a 25 minute wait. We didn't mind waiting. Everyone is super friendly there. Garlic cheese bread sticks & family size garden salad are highly recommended. Love this place! The antipasto was drenched in a salad dressing. It was a lettuce salad with bits of salami, cheese, some hot peppers and loads of dressing. Not what one world expect of an antipasto dish; oh, yeah this is "antipasta". The rigatoni was very good in a spicy meat sauce.
