Well worth the 1.5 hour wait. We stayed in WP for 5 nights and ate there twice. The antipasta salad is a must!

GLUTEN FREE PIZZA, GLUTEN FREE "BAKED" BUFFALO WINGS, be sure to stress the preparation (like not using the same sauce on your pizza that is used on all of the other pizza causing cross contamination when the ladle spreads over the gluten pizzas), also their hot sauce has gluten so you the buffalo wings have to come out with with barbecue sauce. Tip: have them char the barbecue sauce because it comes out covered in wet sauce and charring the sauce makes it so much better. read more

I been going to Hernando's for many years. At first, its unique ambiance and style of dining perked my interest. Given lack of quality restaurants in the area, it is not a bad place to dine...but, I think the place has over the years been losing its quality. The pizza was great. We liked the thin crust! It was thin but we still had crust to have with some honey. Loved the marinara with the cheese and garlic bread. Chicken Parmesan was yummy too. We used to go here all the time when we had a ski in ski out condo at Winter Park, the food was always great then, tonight was the total opposite the hostess sat us at a table that had obviously had not been wiped down I put my purse on the table then my menu and they stuck to the table as the table was covered in honey, so we got up and went to find here and she said we could sit outside at the table that was on a steep tilt, and we said no to that table and sat at the one next to it and she got angry at us, this hostess is not very nice to the customers. I got fettuccine Alfredo and it Had very little sauce and green stuff I had to keep pulling out of my mouth, my husband ordered a Italian sub and the waitress brought out a meatball sub. I don't know if I will return after this visit, and I will not recommend to our team from Ride the Rockies that will be in town tomorrow night and our team is about 60 people. read more

The atmosphere of the restaurant was really cool, but the rest left a lot to be desired. First of all, my order was messed up, and the customer service was average. This place is an over rated tourist trap. The food was mediocre at best. We were left wanting more. We ended up ordering another pizza from Elevation Pizza while at Hernando's. Hernando's is great restaurant, and a personal favorite of mine from the two summers I spent in Grand County. The pizza is delicious, and they have so many good options to choose from. They definitely have something for everyone. My personal favorite is the Column 1, which has all of the meats from the first column of the list of pizza toppings. The service is friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere is great for people of all ages, whether you're a local or a tourist. read more

We were really craving pizza so we randomly decided to stop in here. From the outside we didn't expect anything amazing but as soon as you walk in it's awesome! The walls are covered floor to ceiling with $1 bills people have drawn on...super cool. We got an AMAZING shrimp scampi pizza and a (huge and delicious) piece of cheesecake. This place was excellent. Pasta was excellent and they offer 4 different sauces. Drink prices were very reasonable (3 beers $10). Place is not large so expect to wait if you go between 5:30 and 8:00 or so. Drinks being so reasonable it's definitely worth the wait. read more

Some of the best pizza my family and I have ever had! Decor is awesome too (bring dollar bills and some creativity!). We got the mediterranean BBQ, and the shrimp scampi pizzas-- all AMAZING, and good as leftovers too. Their crust will change the way your non-crust-eaters look at crust. That being said we're going back again tonight so small details. Update: went back, service not good. Won't do separate checks for large party. Fair enough, then get order right. Errors: 1) server forgot to bring family Greek salad to table prior to meal. 2) soup came loaded with cheese for same person Who requested that the cheese on the salad for the family be placed to the side. Fair enough it wasn't explicitly stated that the soup should have no cheese. But there was also no mention that the minestrone came loaded with cheese. Server made comment about our need to have told him not to put any cheese. 3) One dozen chicken wings never came until server was reminded. 4) whoops those dozen wings that we ordered came out as six. I've heard this restaurant is regarded as Winter Park's finest. While the food is good the service left a lot to be desired. read more

Delicious! Now a tradition the whole family enjoys. The Scampi and Column 1 rock, and the rolled crust is mmmmmmmmmmmm-scrumptious.
