I went to a restaurant and forgot my fob in the car . When I came out I couldn't believe my fob was inside, as anyone knows you can't lock your 2025 vehicle with the keys inside !!!!! After a call to triple A and a wonderful driver he said the fob needed a new battery lovely ‼‼ I immediately went to auto zone and the cashier was happy to install the new battery. I rented a Jeep Cherokee from Avis at Boston Logan International Airport. The vehicle had multiple…read moreserious issues from the moment I picked it up, including a "Service Anti‑Brake System" warning on the dashboard, a loud engine squeal, and a completely non‑functional navigation screen - a known problem according to Jeep. While driving from the airport to our hotel, the wheels locked up during braking and the vehicle went into a power slide, nearly causing a multi‑car accident. Because the vehicle was unsafe to operate, it remained parked at our hotel for the duration of the trip. My wife and I came down with COVID, so the only driving we did was from the airport to the hotel and back to the airport. Two months later, Avis billed me $250 for "cleaning." When I called to dispute the charge, they claimed there was "sand" in the vehicle. This is impossible -- I only entered and exited the vehicle a few times, including once during a heavy rainstorm to refuel before returning it. There was no sand. Avis stated they had photos showing the alleged sand, but when I asked for copies, they refused to provide them. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend renting from Avis. The vehicle was unsafe, the equipment was malfunctioning, and the cleaning charge was unjustified and unsupported.

When exiting the structure we were instructed to use the bar code on the agreement which we did but were still required to pay the parking fee of $20.00 to exit the parking structure where this location, at this point we couldn't back up with cars behind and just paid, requested a receipt to submit for refund and of course the automated machine was out of paper. 24 hours later and tire is once again very low so apparently there was something amiss.

Very easy to find, you just have to pay attention you don't miss your stop to get off when the bus driver announces the next stop. The only drawback is depending on when you arrive, there might be a long line and short staff. There was only one lady there attending to each customer so it took abit longer. They were trying to get people in line to use the car rental kiosks available but people were having trouble using them and it seemed it bit difficult and they would just get back in line. Another staff member finally came to help the other lady who was by herself and helped us out. He was very friendly and kind. It was pretty quick. We just had to go upstairs to get our car. We got a silver Nissan Pathfinder. I believe all cars come with a Toll road box. The person who takes you to your car will tell you how it works. It actually comes in handy in the city and highways here. We thought we weren't going to use it but we needed to especially with the traffic during rush hour. It helped out alot. You just flip it down to use it and flip it up not to use it but they'll go over that with you when picking up your car. We enjoyed having the freedom of having a car to go wherever we wanted to. The car seats comfyness was a 5, they were uncomfortable after long road trips on our backs and bums. The niceness was an 8, the gadgets on the car were a bit complex to figure out but we got the hang of it. We did like that the back seat folded down to put my husbands wheelchair and our belongings, a plus on that! We would use them again. As everything went smoothly when dropping off the car and the pricing. We would use Alamo again if renting anywhere else.

So glad I did--it was a smooth experience from start to finish! I arrived right when they opened at 8am on a time crunch to make it to a 9:30am job interview- I was a little nervous about timing since I'd heard stories of other customers needing to head to the airport, but nope the location was right at Government Center! Dianne was a breeze to work with--she explained everything clearly, from paying for a toll pass (I brought my own E-Zpass, phew!) to making sure I filled up the gas tank and brought back the receipt, or else I'd face an extra charge. Bill in the garage was friendly and efficient when I picked up and dropped off the car/keys. When I returned the car, Dianne asked how my job interview went and was genuinely sweet and supportive.
