A few moments later the same worker comes over, asks for the bottle, grunts, sighs, and says "did you open this?" When we said yes he shook his head, muttered that she wasn't supposed to, and walked away. No explanation, no apology -- just attitude. He came back, poured it into another cup with ice, and that was that. The second incident was equally frustrating. After I ordered and paid for the Mango Slush Coconut Milk, he came back to tell me they were out of coconut milk and asked if I'd be okay with regular milk. As someone who is lactose intolerant, I said no and asked him to show me my options. He walked away without a word, disappeared into the back, and then came out telling me my drink was ready. I double checked that it was coconut milk and not regular -- he confirmed and walked off. The drink tasted off though, noticeably more mango heavy than coconut milk forward, which made me wonder about the ratios. And what was strange is that after being told there was no coconut milk, it somehow reappeared. Make it make sense. The concept here has real potential and I hope they find their footing, but between the mediocre food and the communication issues, I won't be making a return visit anytime soon.
