Teriyaki chicken/filet mignon and fried rice
    Jerry L.

Great idea, hibachi on the go? You can't beat that. I haven't dined here yet but it was on my bookmarks so I decided to get takeout from here. Delivery was quick and convenient, the minimum for delivery is $15, I had the filet mignon/teriyaki chicken with fried rice, it was tasty and cooked well, it was seasoned well and not salty which is important to me, something new to me is the white sauce that they include, it's really good and compliments the food really well. I really enjoyed the food from here and I will definitely order from here in the future and go there in person to dine in

Hibachi Steak and Chicken w/ white sauce.

Having been in the restaurant only once, this review will be based on delivery and the food itself (obviously). My sister and I were craving some Hibachi, so we ordered from Hibachi Express (after not eating there for some time). We called at around 11:30 on a Friday and the food came less than 20 minutes later, super quick. I ordered the gyoza appetizer and the Hibachi steak and chicken, while my sister ordered the express bowl. The gyoza appetizer came with 6 gyozas, tasted alright, on the softer side. The sauce was red which was off-putting at first, but I believe it was soy sauce and it tasted okay. The hibachi meal itself was pretty good, a little oily, but it was a huge portion at a reasonable price. The steak and chicken were cooked well as well. My favorite part of Hibachi Express is their white sauce. No clue what it really is (haha), but it's soooo good. Definitely check this place out if you're looking for quick takeout Japanese food.

The workers were super nice and friendly. They checked in on us to make sure we didn't have any issues ordering. The ordering site though was such a pain. I couldn't tell if items that I wanted were checked off and instead of being able to edit them once added to the cart, the item would have to be deleted and done over again. We were more frustrated with the website than anything. Food came out at a reasonable time. We were a party of 5. They have bells to ring as a thank you to the wait staff. Inside was pretty packed with people. They have an order option for to go orders. I LOVED the food. The combination of Jamaican meets Asian fusion was on point. The ox tail bao buns were so amazing and didn't disappoint. The combo of the sauce, ox tail, and sweet plantains were worth every penny. I ordered the curry chicken ramen and the mix of the curry with the pork soup option was delicious. We also had the jerk chicken ramen. Warning if you don't like spice, the jerk chicken does come with a kick so if you order spice level for your bowl, it'll add a level of added spice to it. The mushrooms in this bowl were so good and perfectly cooked!! I will definitely be hitting this spot up again. Place would've received a 5 if it wasn't for the ordering system.

The only thing we received were our drinks at the beginning and that was it. When we asked the staff about the delay, we were simply told they would check with the chef, and later that the food was still being prepared. There was no sense of urgency, no apology, and no effort to make things right. We ended up leaving out of frustration. To make matters worse, they didn't even offer to comp our drinks for the inconvenience. Overall, very disappointing experience and we will not be coming back.

Given that there is not many ramen shops in New Rochelle, I would consider coming back here. I also had a kimchi bao bun, and it was amazing. This is something I would consider coming back for. Shoutout to the staff, Jhosue, for supporting me as I navigated through the menu. He is knowledgeable about the popular items on the menu and even considers what kind of flavors I lean towards before making a recommendation. I appreciate the patients like the staff here. The scene is this somber night in the Japanese lights. It's a cool vibe and nice aesthetic. I enjoy the Japanese feel of the wall art and the moody lighting in the bar. This place would be fit for a casual dinner solo or with some friends. I am a harsh grader. Ani Ramen earns a 3atar from me because although the ramen was good, it was rather smaller than what I've seen in many other ramen shops. Additionally, I would be confident to say the ramen is average. The service was excellent, and the scene is calming in the dimmed bulbs.

Thai Cookery Street Food has filled its spot, offering dine in, delivery, and pickup orders. Stepping inside of this high-class establishment with beautiful aesthetics that presented a well lite dining experience, through-out the restaurant, I found it to be a very relaxing and a welcoming environment. I was greeted and seated; the staff was very kind. I viewed the menu and chose Thai Crispy chicken rice bowl, the chicken satay, and a salad. The salad had a ginger dressing, and it was really tasty. I had the Satay chicken only because I tasted the Satay chicken at Boon Dee Moo Ka Ta. It tasted nothing like Boon Dee, so I found it the least and it was on the dry side, the Thai Crispy chicken was more on the bland side, but the jalapenos gave it a kick. This setting felt more like speed dating, instead it was speed eating. Everything was rushed and the timing of bringing out the food was way off; the food was brought out within minutes of each other. Maybe because it is Street Food, I mean, it's in the name. I had to rush eat so that the food would not get cold, but I failed. Maybe if I had a shovel, I could pack it in quickly. With a packed mouth, I desire to. Inspire more, Yelp more!

I'm always excited to hear about a new Asian place in the area. Their menu seemed relatively standard for Thai. They're not kidding about their spice levels! Take them seriously. The green curry was ok. There were too many fillers of peppers and bamboo shoots. The Thai fried rice was pretty standard, too. I'd skip the golden triangles, but we actually really liked the wings. We'll be trying more food from this spot - probably some different dishes.
