Was in town for a gaming tournament and surprised to stumble across this Asian/Chinese buffet that advertised sushi and hibachi. It was a Sunday early afternoon lunch and the place was moderately busy. I ordered a water and service was quick and no frills. Food variety/selection was excellent and nothing that I wanted to try was empty/awaiting refill. I had multiple pieces of sushi and there were many fish and seafood hot dish options as well. What stood out the most about this place was the cheap prices along with the quantity and quality of their food, and I will definitely return if I'm in the area again.

They were so awesome to make us vegan a tofu with mixed vegetables dish on request!

I came here because my wife was scouring for a buffet place ever since COVID, of course many buffet places are going extinct which is a blooming shame. Amazingly she found this place in Jackson. We pursued this proverbial dodo and had to check it out. They handled the safety measures for eat here very well. They require masks and provide gloves to wear whenever you approach the buffet lines and you can remove your masks at your table to eat. It's a typical buffet place, selections were many but as vegans there wasn't much to choose from other than potatoes, rice, Lo Mein noodles, veggie sushi rolls, green beans, spring rolls, fries, salad, and fruit. I wondered if they had any tofu dishes...so I asked the waitress who was very kind if it was possible to get a tofu with mixed vegetable dish because we were vegan. She said they could make it and went to the chef and after a few minutes brought out the dish we requested. Now that's service! It made this place worth while and definitely worth coming again. Although with the CoViD measures preventing from dining in, I hope this will not be the last time that we can dine here.

First here time on a Sunday. Got here right at 11 AM when they opened. No surprises here - everything was clean, organized, hot and ready to go. They even had Cajun Crawdad Boil!? Their fried chicken wings and legs just could be the best in town! And, as always, the sushi was fresh and tasty!

Went after the first reopening, there were lots of protective items, free gloves, masks available for purchase at a very reasonable $0.50. Staff wore gloves, face masks and face shields and were diligent in cleaning surfaces. Other patrons did not necessarily follow the posted rules. The buffet overall was cheap, mostly a cheap way to get full. The sushi was below average, the sushi bar was poorly stocked and much of it was filled with rice and cucumber, as expected at this price point and locale. The food in general was very heavy and greasy, and didn't provide much in the way of more fresher foods like steamed vegetables... most buffet items were fried items. Individual portion size ice cream was a nice touch, the orange sherbet is my favourite. I think most patrons know what to expect here.

Our family's go-to for Chinese food especially in Jackson. I love coming here and getting tons of Sushi. For the price you can't beat it. I used to hate how my dad wanted to come here 1 to 2x a week which always upset me. Now since he passed away it's a place of good memories of my father. My son loves coming here for that exact reason. "Papa's Favorite Place"

This place was really good when they first opened. Quality of food has declined considerably. Service is very poor, will not return.

Whenever I'm out of town, I ALWAYS look for a Korean restaurant, and as luck would have it, there are a few in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Yay!! Only thing wrong with my search, two of the three were closing in ten minutes and the third was advertised as Fried Chicken. I was 15 minutes away, so I gave in for the chicken, with fingers crossed that they'd have other popular dish options. Beautiful little restaurant when you arrive, very clean too. Immediately greeted and asked if to-go or dine-in, as they have a good counter for food delivery services. I of course opted to dine-in since I had about an hour til closing. Really nice looking menu, with plenty of selections beyond Fried Chicken. I didn't hesitate too long as to expedite my meal before closing. I ordered Pork Pot Stickers (Yakimandu), JapChae, and some Bulgogi. PanChan was extra, and the Kimchi along with Pickled Radish were my selection. The Yakimandu arrived first, nicely plated with half So Garlic Sauce and half Spicy Sauce. The mandi were delicious with these brushed sauces. That Spicy was no joke either, had a really good burning kick. The remainder of the meal was brought out together. The plates looked great and I couldn't wait to dig in, but if course pictures first. Both were super delicious and really hitting the spot after a long day. Very tasty meals. The staff brought me out a dessert after seeing me take all the photos, something I've never had, Deep Fried Cheesecake. Check out the photos. Definitely a different take on the dessert. Everything outside was crispy, of course, with the inside still the same. It was a texture experience. The staff were super friendly, very well knowledged on the menu items. Place was very clean, not just clean, but very clean! I think they said they've been there just over a year. I was served by Freda, and Caroline was there to assist when needed. The hostess was a real sweetheart, I'll call hers "Zaps" (because she had the TV remote at closing and I missed her real name). Young masked gentleman, again missed name, and one of the owners Kenny and his wife Lin. So good, I will be eating lunch and/or dinner there again tomorrow or Monday depending on time. I definitely want to try the Fried Chicken, probably not with the Spicy Sauce this time. LOL I do highly recommend you try this place if you haven't.

I've had it sit down and take out, and in both instances the serving size was really good making it way worth the price. When I've ordered online, they always pay close attention to the extra instructions I add about adding cucumber and spice so you don't have to worry about that being overlooked. The ambiance of the restaurant is honestly top tier with the real flowers and candles on each table, aesthetic consistency, along with their round turning table perfect for large parties. These are the things I've tried from there: Orange chicken: 7/10 (and only because it's not my favorite dish anywhere, I just tried a bite of someone else's but it's good and has fresh mandarin in it; it quickly became my dad's favorite dish there) Pork Larb: again and again 10/10 I could eat this everyday Sesame chicken: 8/10 (not the best of the best I've tried but still very good) Kick boxing chicken: 10/10 Sticky rice: 10/10 perfect with my Larb Thai tea: 10/10. the best Thai tea I've had in Michigan. Very creamy and great flavor I've had a lot of Asian food in my day but this place is definitely one of the best in what they have.

I ordered their: + Fried Tofu with Chili Sauce + Pad Thai Curry with Tofu + Diet Coke The food came out pretty fast and I appreciated that she checked on me throughout my meal. The fried tofu was bland, but the sweet chili sauce was garlicy and subtlety sweet. The star of the night was my main entree. I would have licked the plate if I could; it was so comforting and hearty... so delicious! I walked out of there pretty satisfied. Parking was plentiful and only 12 minutes from my office.

Definitely my go-to entree. Thai-Style Calamari (5/5): One of THE main reasons I love Pacific Rim so much. This is the best calamari appetizer I've had. Lightly breaded and fresh. The sweet chili sauce is perfect. Thai Peanut Noodles (4/5): The noodles had great texture and the Thai peanut sauce was delicious. The tofu wasn't really crispy and I personally would've loved the option to add some meat. Lamb Dumpling (4/5): Lots of meat in the filling and didn't taste gamy at all. Limited time special. Shrimp Shumai (4/5): Really enjoyed the wonton wrapper. Shrimp flavor came through nicely. Limited time special. House Salad (4/5): Light and fresh. The soy based dressing was sweet, slightly acidic, and not at all overpowering. Warm Chocolate Cake (4/5): Delicious cake with a warm, gooey inside. I personally don't like coconut or chocolate and fruit desserts, but I still enjoyed this a lot. Creme Brulee Tasting (4/5) : Green tea, pumpkin spice, and ginger creme brulees. Loved getting to try a little bit of each flavor (green tea was my favorite). Spiced Caramel Pear (3/5): Not my favorite since I don't generally like cooked fruit. The mascarpone cream and shortbread were good though.
