Came on a Sunday around 12:30pm. Managed to get the last 4 top table but by the time we left every table was filled. Restaurant is "cozy" but I didn't mind it. Ordered egg fried rice, garlic green beans hold the spice, potstickers, and XLB. A bit of a wait for XLB but the other food came out quick. For dessert we got our boba to go: Mango green tea, taro blended, strawberry blended. 10/10 would recommend! read more

We came here again with our mom. It was busy and only 1 girl was working so she was taking orders from door dash, packing orders, giving takeout orders to guests as well as taking sit-down guests' orders, giving them their food, cleaning up tables and moving tables around to accommodate bigger groups. We felt like maybe having 1 more worker would be beneficial to the employee but also to the customers who had to be kept waiting because she was doing so much (not her fault). The dumplings this time weren't that good. The Beef+onions dumplings and the chives dumplings were only luke warm so I felt like it was frozen dumplings that were microwaved. The Xiao long Bao was great (10/10) but we weren't given any chopstickers or spoons for it so we had to use the serving spoons that came with the fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. We made do bc the waitress was busy with everything else. Calamari was just as good as we remembered it to be. The fried rice and sweet&s our chicken made up for the dumplings. Very very good 10/10! We also ordered milk tea and manga green teas but they were watered down and not very good either. But it was the only 1 girl working there at the time who made them so it's okay. Again, we feel like since this business has gotten busier and clearly successful since our last visit, maybe extra help would be nice for those currently working there! Will still come visit again to try out other menu items bc we like the business and the owner seems like they genuinely care. I just think we came at a busy/bad time. INCREDIBLE!!! Ok one- the ambiance- super cute location with flowers all over. Excellent service- it was busy when we arrived but they sat us and served us quickly for how few staff members it seemed they had! The servers were SO nice and sweet! My friend and I got the pork buns, green beans, chicken cilantro, and xian long dumplings. ALL SO DAMN GOOD!!!! Pork buns were so fluffy and good- and they were HUGE!! Hidden Dumpling House is located in a small, but busy plaza. Parking is very difficult here and is hit or miss when I came on a weeknight. This is a tiny restaurant with limited seating, so ordering ahead would be best. There was a long wait just to order when I arrived - waited almost 15 - 20 minutes just for an employee to take our order, then another 25 - 30 minutes for our food. They also have a Yelp check-in offer for a smile, which was a bit strange, but hilarious to me. The menu was a bit confusing and strange - on the combo plate section, they have a base price for the protein, but you have to add an extra $2 or $3 for the sides separately. I tried the Mongolian Beef Combo Plate and Egg Flower Soup with a side of rice. The Mongolian beef was decent, but it was not as flavorful as it could had been. The soup was good, but the side of rice looked and tasted old/stale. Overall, the food was decent, but it was not worth going out of my way or waiting almost an hour for. read more

Amazing service! They explained all the food items, gave recommendations, very friendly staff, great location and the food so fantastic. Food was so so good. I ordered the Szechuan chicken combo with rice and also the pork, shrimp, and chive dumplings as well. To drink I also ordered the Hawaiian boba and it was citrusy and delicious. I highly recommend the food here. The meat and vegetables were cooked amazing melt well and still crispy without being raw. Very impressed by the staff and the food. The fried spicy wonton and the bobas were the standouts today. Orange chicken tasted so fresh and delicious. Everything was fresh and hot. The dumplings menu will likely expand but my kids couldn't really eat the pork shrimp & chives dumplings because there is more chives than meat in the dumplings. I will have to go back for honey walnut shrimp. Always looking out for a good dumpling house so I'm hoping they expand dumpling selection or possibly soup dumplings too. Visiting family from out of town and decided to try a new place. We were blown away with the fast service and delicious food. I prefer my food pipping hot (temperature! and that is what we got! Shrimp pork and chives steamed dumplings - delicious! So fresh. Did they make it to order?! Sharing high noodles - the yellow long thin glass noodle style - highly recommend! I loved all the veggies and the amount of noodle to meat ratio. Everything was well balanced out in a noodle stir fry. Honey walnut shrimp - the shrimps were huge(!) and there were so many of them. The walnuts tasted fresh as well. The fried wontons had pork (?) in them. Delicious. I feel like they could've used a better sauce or folded them a a tad differently so it is easier to dip the meat portion into the sauce instead of just the fried wrapper - but this is just me being picky Prices are reasonable for the portion and quality of food. First timer here & food was chefs kiss! Fresh veggies and the meat was really tender. Everything had very good flavor and I love that the Mongolian beef had a nice spice to it! It was even better after you add in chili oil. Highly recommend this if you are planning to share the soup and order your own entrée. -Mongolian Beef & Fried Rice: YUM! My order was lightly crisp on the outside but doughy on the inside which gave it a bad texture. The service was poor. I was the only one there and the waitress didn't bother to refill my water or ask if I needed anything else. Ambiance is ok. More cafe like than restaurant. Wonderful food! It was AMAZING to find a gluten free Chinese restaurant! Even my gluten eating family prefers Hidden dumpling house over other places they have tried. We get the sweet and sour chickens. The honey walnut shrimp. The Singapore noodles. The garlic green beans and the shrimp rice. Everything is delicious! My daughter loves the dumplings as well! We have only gotten our food to go as the restaurant is very small, but it might be fun to eat there one day too. Very cute decor. The customer service is good too. We got the dinner combo plate with sweet and sour chicken, it came with fried rice, chow mien and an egg roll. One of the best sweet and sour chicken I've ever had, crunchy and flavorful. And the plate is HUGE, I always have enough leftovers for a whole second meal. Prices are very fair. The inside is pretty small, maybe like 6 tables? 3-4 tables for two and two tables for four or more was the layout I remember. But they also have outdoor seating in front of their restaurant too! Service is nice and fast! I saw for kids they have cute custom "Hidden Dumpling House" coloring sheets, they'll hang it up on their wall if any kid wants to hand their drawing over. Such a cute touch! The only negative thing I have to say is the boba drink I had was not very good. I got a Hokkaido milk tea and it was pretty bland with almost no sweetness, and the boba tasted mushy and bland. So maybe just stick to the food, or try another drink. read more

This is my new favorite spot. The restaurant is small kind of hole in the wall place with best tasting food. Like a secret spot you don't want too many people to know about, but they already do. It was very busy. Lots of take out orders and people dining in. Lucky for us we got in just fine. A lovely evening for a date night. We walked in and we were quickly seated. A worker explained the process to order and if we didn't know, we would have ordered way more food than expected for just two people. The soup dumpling was hot and the sauce complimented it well. I wish we were also given vinegar to balance out the flavors more though. The garlic string beans was cooked perfectly, not soggy and still crunchy! The spicy wontons was yummy as well.
