Breakfast bowl with tofu scramble, vegan blueberry pancake and breakfast burrito
    Michelle L.

We came here for the vegan breakfast options. They have so many good things to pick from. I ended up getting the vegan breakfast bowl and the vegan blueberry pancake. Both were equally delicious. Can't wait to go back!

Great selection of healthy food. Very happy with our meal. Wonderful smoothie. A relaxed atmosphere. The inside is very cool looking. I would have never guessed it from the exterior. This place is a gem.

Vegan biscuits and gravy with a side of fruit and tofu scrambled
    Ree T.

After I long hike in the canyons I had worked up an appetite. I am so thankful I came across this cafe. It is a very lowkey space. The service is nice, timely, and what you are looking for when you are hungry. There were several vegan options which made this a great choice. The biscuit and gravy were delicious and comforting. The fruit was fresh and the tofu scrambled mixed nicely with the biscuits and gravy. I will be back next time I'm here

    Tempeh Reuben

This cafe feels a bit old-school (in a good way) and has a good mix of options for people with all diets, which is great. I went for the vegan tempeh reuben, which was really good. I make my own tempeh reuben at home but somehow their tempeh tasted a lot better. I'll need to work on that! It got a little messy but that's the price you pay for a giant slab of tempeh, I guess. The staff was very friendly and service was quick during Friday lunchtime. The only thing I thought was weird is that the water station is self-service, despite there being waiter service. It seemed like a weird in-between - I'd rather just order at the counter if it's not all full-service.

    Vegan mushroom melt

My vegan mushroom melt wasn't fierce... it was FEROCIOUS! The flavors and textures were wonderful and it was pretty satiating as well. A good sandwich can be a very powerful thing, and I think Palm Greens Cafe knows that. I'd certainly stop back in if I'm ever in Palm Springs again, as I have great respect for any place with a multitude of vegan options.

Being that my husband is a vegan, we rather enjoyed dining at this funky little eatery. It offers healthy, unprocessed options for both of us, and I enjoyed a truly delicious grass-fed burger with a scrumptious broccoli coleslaw. The decor is a somewhat drab interpretation of a vintage Palm Springs mid-century cafe, and the air conditioning is on the swampy side. But the food more than makes up for the decor and dank air! We got the impression that there were more locals than tourists at this spot. I returned another time to order take away and waited and waited and waited some more at the counter to order, with no one in front of me. There was only one waiter serving many tables, so I appreciate that they were probably short staffed that day. I ended up leaving since no one came to take my order. Still, 4 stars for a terrific menu and great food.

    Amazing burrito and mushroom bowl!!!
    Mark S.

Wow!! What a wonderful place, bold coffee, great drinks and food to celebrate!! Service was spot on, the vegan and vegetarian options are so plenty that I had to ask for advice as this is not a typical option for me and the burrito was amazing with the vegetarian bacon and beans, so delicious . My husband got the mushroom burger, rice, greens and it was delicious!! And we both raved as to which one was more flavorful and a huge portion on both!! We will be back for sure!!!

Happened to be in the area and needed to get out of the heat so I decided to yo try this place I think a little short staffed as there was only one person covering all the tables and register but a cozy little cafe

The food is very fresh and tasty, it is a haven for vegan and gluten free diners! It is refreshing the chef cares for food restrictions and for healthy fresh ingredients for a change. Service was very friendly and cordial too. Food came out very quickly for a table of 4 we had ordered several dishes and drinks ( their juices and smoothies are very good too). Ambience is nice relaxed music. Highly recommended if you are in the Palm Springs area.

We went on October 2024.... we had a Breakfast Sandwich, the Breakfast Sampler and the Turmeric Gold Juice. Food was great and tasty. The restaurant is very casual. Friendly service. We'll definitely come back when in town.

Mushroom patty loco moco with scrambled tofu. Amazing
    O G.

Found randomly with friends on a visit to PS Had a short wait as was busy pre lunch but once seated service was great and the food came out amazingly fast for a crowded Saturday here. My mushroom loco moco with tofu scramble was delicious and my friends said their bbq pork wrap and an Acai bowl was amazing. Why is this place only 4 stars? 5 baby! Ring a ding ding!

Do you offer outdoor seating enough for 4 and a dog at 1 table? Tried calling but your number isn't working.

They do have a side patio area that is narrow but quite long. They should be able to accommodate you.

Will you ever be open for dinner again?

Yes! We are planning our new menu and opening around March 1st. Thanks for asking.

Are the ingredients purchased from Trader Joes and Costco?

I purchase ingredients from numerous vendors. United Natural Foods Inc. being one of the largest vendors. Yes, Costco also is a great purveyor of many organic products at prices comparable to wholesale. As well Trader Joe's. I go wherever I find… Read more

    Is the salad sampler vegan?

Most of our salads are vegan. The salad sampler can certainly be ordered vegan.

Do they have gluten free bagels?

Could they accommodate a large group of 30?

We could, but you would have to go into restaurant and speak to Chuy or Jacqui. Regarding menu, date and time. Call around 11 am to speak to one of them if you cant show up in person.

Should I make a reservation for Saturday night dinner or is that unnecessary? If I should, how should I do that? It doesn't seem like they answer the phone and I don't see a place on their website to make a reservation.

we did not make a reservation, and there were only a few people who waited to be seated, and not for very long.... It's worth the wait, GO :)

Do they serve organic eggs & bacon?

They have organic eggs and turkey bacon . Look up the menu, they have great choices!

    Do you cater?

Sometimes, it depends on the situation. You may call me direct to discuss. 808 283 3668 Thanks, Greg

This place hit the bar on all three of those pillars. We sat outside and a few of us ordered the margarita flight, while a few others ordered other cocktails. They were all really enjoyable and well balanced. We asked our server for his favorite thing on the menu and he suggested the steak plate and one other dish. The next person who came to our table also suggested the steak plate and ahi taco. 3-4 of us ended up ordering the steak plate, one ordered the quesabirria tacos. The elotes street corn was absolutely delicious. The sour cream on top just really sent it over the edge, the best I've ever had. Their flan was also exceptional. I'm not typically a fan of flan, but this one was really good. Top notch! Everyone absolutely loved their dish. The steak plate was absolutely wonderful. Steak was cooked to perfection, and the grilled onion was so good. The guacamole was flavorful, and it all went really nicely with the tortillas and other accoutrements. We had a great time and enjoyed amazing food. Highly, highly recommend. Pretty much all the girls agreed at the end of the weekend that this had been our favorite spot.

This review is more about the maintenance and conditions of the parklet seating area. My friends and I visited on a Sunday evening around 6:30pm. It wasn't peak season and it was about 100°F outside. Since we didn't have reservations, we were told we could only be seated in the outdoor parklet area. Another group of six arrived shortly after us and was visibly upset about the same situation and ultimately left, but we decided to stay and give it a try. Unfortunately, the parklet itself felt unsafe. My heel got stuck between the floorboards and several sections of the flooring were lifted. I nearly fell but caught myself by landing on an empty chair. The staff were very kind and helped me remove my shoe, which I appreciated. However, the outdoor setup made the dining experience very uncomfortable. We were constantly dealing with flies around our food, and no fans or coverings were provided to help with the heat or food exposure. Additionally there was a piece of hair on my friend's nachos. It was difficult to enjoy the meal in those conditions. As for the food, we ordered nachos and a carne asada plate with drinks, and while the food itself was good, the environment made it hard to enjoy it fully. The bill came out to nearly $150, and given the conditions, it felt disappointing. I would strongly recommend management: * Address the unsafe and uneven parklet flooring * Improve outdoor dining comfort (fans, pest control, etc.) * Allow indoor seating when space is available, especially in extreme heat The staff and food were great, but the dining environment needs attention to match the price point and quality of the kitchen.

Palm Springs has a night market that happens Thursday night from 6-10 where it brings out people. Food vendors, arts and crafts, gifts and so on. A nice family outing on the main strip. Also all the storefronts are open as well. The thing with something like that, you tend to stand or find a seat along the curb to sit with your food. Hence we finally walked into this restaurant. It was pretty busy when we walked in but at the right time. Got seated right away as there was only two tables available. By the time we were seated, the line was pretty long. It's just off the main strip. Pretty decent size patio which seems to be where everyone was utilizing it as it was nice out. There's a bar area with seating as well as indoor, a smaller room. Service was nice. Water and menu was brought out first then came the chips and salsas. Quite tasty but can be filling if you can't control yourself. Started off with their classic margaritas and the spicy margaritas. There's a few dollars difference from classic to spicy. They weren't that bad. Menu wise, a mixture of all your Mexican dishes. We didn't have any starters as we just wanted the mains. The carne asada plate which came with both rice and beans. I opted for only rice. Thin skirt steak with chorizo, grilled jalapeño and onion, flour or corn tortillas and salsa. And the chicken enchiladas verde with the green sauce. The food was quite tasty. Carne asada plate was pretty plentiful. Nice skirt steak with a nice piece of chorizo. Both were quite tasty and flavorful. Steak was decent and cooked well. Not overly done. Then you have the enchiladas. It's decent in size but not too big. It's good if you're not too hungry. The sauce was great and was a perfect pair to the dish. As it was our first time, it was great. All these place that's been there but you walk by loads of time. Sometimes you just have to try new places out and see what comes of it. Maybe it's a hit. We quite enjoyed it and glad that we finally tried it out.

My daughter ordered a strawberry margarita and I a blackberry paloma.. they both tasted like juice.. and for what they are charging?! No way! 2. I ordered the coconut crusted shrimp, which did not come on a "clothesline" for presentation, much less with a "slaw" - it was basic at best on a pile of red cabbage... 3. My daughter ordered the chicken nachos... chicken was dry and bland...no cheese... 4 jalapenos...and they have the nerve to charge $20?! 4. I ordered the Mexican wedge salad, laughable. No "roasted corn" it was canned. No black beans at all. The lettuce was the bottom of the iceberg... and because I dont like cilantro... so I had to have regular ranch. Better off advertising as a cilantro ranch and not a serrano ranch. After all this. I explained to the waitress I was misled and displeased. Not that I was not going to pay or was looking for a free meal, but lets not mislead people. No management even bothered to come out and say anything or address us. I paid $92 that Ill never get back and I still tipped the waitress $20 because is it really her fault?! Positive the guacamole + chips were good. That was it.
