    Southwest salad

Location and parking: If you're not from the area (me) or haven't been before can be a little hard to find parking lot for restaurant but there are plenty of spots. The restaurant itself is also a little hidden off main road but gps will get you to the right spot. Service: Friendly, efficient and helpful Food and drink: I had a great passionfruit margarita, not too sweet and real passionfruit juice used! I also got the southwest salad. The dressing was very good and everything in salad seemed fresh. However, I will say a pretty dinky salad for $14. The avocado on it was about 1/8 of one whole avocado. Overall a good experience, I'd come back

Every visit to Hidden Still has been wonderful! Service is stellar, the food is fabulous, and the drinks are divine! Even the bread tray was top-notch. I thought enjoyed the smoked blackberry margarita. The smoke permeated the ice cubes and made everything smell & taste wonderful! I had a cheeseburger one visit and it was excellent quality meat, seasoned really nicely, and cooked to my ideal temp of medium-rare. It's a great place for gathering with friends or a romantic night out. I love that it's versatile and has different bar & seating areas,

June 2025 Hidden Still - Great Service, Tasty Drinks, a Few Small Quirks My wife and I usually go to The Mill when we're in town, but we weren't in the mood for a big meal, so we decided to try Hidden Still instead. Glad we did. The bartender was very nice and attentive. I ordered the Old Fashioned from the happy hour menu and asked to swap out the walnut bitters (not my thing) -- he gladly substituted regular bitters, and the drink was excellent. My wife just had iced tea. For food, she got the salad with chicken and said it was good. I went with the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich and fries. The sandwich wasn't as spicy as I expected, but I asked for extra hot sauce and that definitely helped -- just be aware they charge $0.25 for extra sauce. Same thing with condiments: I requested ranch for my fries instead of ketchup, and they charged another $0.25. I get charging for extras, but if you're going to do that, it would be nice if the server asked what condiments you want instead of assuming everyone uses ketchup. That said, everything tasted great, and the atmosphere was relaxed. We look forward to coming back next time we're in the area.

The Kung pao fried sprouts were amazing! The pickled ginger was a game changer and seasoned perfectly. The short rib bolognese had noodles that made me think they were handmade, but the short rib was a little underseasoned. The bartenders were both extremely attentive and polite. There was a loft where there was space for large parties and places to sit outside.

Pretty good, would likely go back. Came here prior to a concert at Hershey Stadium. Enjoyed the food overall, but wish the mahi tacos were a bit crispier, the still fries a bit less garlic potent, and the Caesar dressing a bit more taste, but yes still quite good!

Ray, our server, is a rockstar. He is so friendly and accommodating. We tried several dishes and all were decent. The calamari melted in your mouth. The bourbon BBQ sauce is delicious (I didn't like the Carolina sauce, (it was too heavy on yellow mustard flavor). The ribs fell off the bone and OMG they served enough for 2 big men. The drinks were fabulous. Bathrooms were immaculate and parking is abundant. They have a huge outside patio that's dog friendly. There is even a poop bag ddispenser and pet relief area on the property.

I liked the calamari and steak and cheese sandwich. Service was good. Glad we made a reservation because we went on a Friday night and the place was packed.

He kept the group entertained, was incredibly knowledgeable, and made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. We also lucked out with a great group of people on the tour, which added to the fun atmosphere. Doug did an excellent job explaining the brewing process and showing us the production facility. One of the highlights was when he stopped at one of the large fermentation tanks and poured everyone a sample of unfinished beer. It was a unique experience and very interesting to taste beer at that stage of production. The best part of the tour came at the end when we gathered around a bar and sampled several different beers. Doug explained the characteristics of each one, making it both educational and enjoyable. The brewery itself is huge, with plenty of seating, a great food menu, and a wide variety of beers to choose from. The tour costs $15, and you even get a beer before the tour begins, which makes it an excellent value. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping in for a cold beer and booking the tour. It was an absolute blast and one of the best brewery experiences we've had.

You give a credit card to your server and that opens the tab. You go to the "snack" counter to order but drinks are brought by a server. Water is self service. After you place your order you get an alarm square (like Panera) and then you pick up your food and silverware and water. Two of us ordered the BBQ brisket sandwich. It came with cole slaw and Bbq sauce and a side of fries. Dining partner really liked the brisket and said it was so tender. I asked for the bbq sauce on the side and I'm glad I did because it was a vinegar base sauce. I didn't like it at all. I found the brisket to be a little too fatty and not well seasoned. The slaw in the sandwich wasn't seasoned either. I was disappointed. Both of us thought the fries were meh. Not hot enough and not crispy. Mine were kind of soggy. Diner 3 got grilled cheese. It was a sandwich in thick bread and came with a side of marinara sauce. She said the sandwich was good. Diner 4 got the Mediterranean plate. Hummus, tabuli, zucchini fritters and tahini. She graciously offered me tastes. The tabuli was really good and the zucchini was prepared like felafel. They were ok. The pita triangles looked good. I didn't try anything else. The other diners all ordered sodas which came with twist off caps in small bottles. They liked the sodas. Overall, the food was ok. There is a gift shop with a variety of merchandise and lots of beer for sale. I asked if the beers and 'cocktails' were available as singles rather than 6 packs. And I was offered a taste. I chose the freaky fruity cherry limeade cocktail. It had too much of the taste of hops for me. The server said it's not made with hops but on the same equipment and although it was tasty, I couldn't get past the taste if hops. Not something I like. The place is nice looking, people were very nice, the menu just didn't work for me.

There are two of these in the area, we weren't quite sure which one to hit, so we opted for the one closer to our hotel in Hershey. We arrived just as they were opening at 11:00 am for lunch. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the bartender and the server. They were the only two working up front, but it was fine; our entire time there, only one other table came in (this was on a Friday). The inside was nice, and we were seated by a fire. The only gripe I have is that the chairs seemed to be the wrong size/height for the tables. But other than that, the place looked good. My wife ordered a beer flight with an assortment of sours and a wheat. I went for the Annville IPA Bold Cask. It was a really, really good beer. Smooth, fully-bodied, and with a good amount of hops. Plus, it's 9.8%, so if you ask me, that's a great way to start off a lunch! The beer flight was decent, but more my wife's thing. Now onto the food. There were a lot of great choices, and we were starving, so of course, everything looked good. We always order for our six-year-old first so they can eat while we relax. We ordered him the hot dog and tots. For our apps, we ordered the Tator Tot Nachos: house cheese sauce, fresh pico, scallions, jalapenos, cilantro lime sour cream, and chicken. And also the smoked wings with hot sauce. I'm always a fan of tator tots, maybe it's because I never had them as a kid, or they really are that good. But these were perfect on a cold day in central PA when you're hungry. The right amount of salt on the tots, crispy exterior and creamy inside, plus the toppings (I love fresh jalapeño). The wings were okay, but this was to be expected. They're smoked, and as much as I love smoked food, you never get the skin crispy (especially on wings). They had a slight smoke flavor and a good sauce, but I'm a "well done" wing guy, so these I would pass on next time. By the time we were going to order lunch, my wife realized she was already full, and we still had a decent amount of food left. So she just picked at the appetizers. I was getting there myself, but I wanted to try a burger. I ordered the Pub Burger: 8 oz, Cooper Sharp, red pepper-bacon jam, dill pickle aioli, lettuce, brioche, and fries (because who can resist more fried potatoes). It came out perfectly medium rare as I ordered and seasoned well. I was apprehensive about the red pepper-bacon jam; I'm not a fan of sweet, but in this case, it worked. It was a great burger (although I only ate a quarter of it). The service was good, and she was very personable and polite. But one thing that was strange. She was on the phone almost the entire time we were there with whom she said was the owner (or maybe a manager). We heard her discussing the reservations and large parties coming in. This was a long call, and while I know there wasn't a lot going on in the restaurant, we felt at times we needed something, and she was busy talking. I'm not blaming her; if it were the owner or manager, they should certainly know better and keep it short. But when she was there, she was great. All in all, a great recommendation from a friend that we are happy we stopped to try. We will be back again, maybe sooner than our annual trip to Hershey!

The atmosphere was fun, utilizing retired ride vehicles as booths and playing into the park setting. I enjoyed the pulled pork grilled cheese: the chocolate barbecue sauce reminded me of a lighter molasses-based sauce so it worked with the barbecue. We had the Ferris Wheel appetizer which was mostly a win, but the items could have shown up on a TGI Friday's menu. The next day, to escape the millions of middle schoolers in the park (I have a whole travelogue brewing for that) we came back because I wanted one of their gigantic milkshakes.
