Brick chicken
Gina N.

Food and service by Armando was great~ My friends and I came here for brunch on a Sunday morning. We were able to get seated right away. We got seated at a table with a very nice view of Sedona. Received great friendly service by Armando who checked in on us and made sure our glasses were never empty. My friends and I all enjoyed our food. The brick chicken was juicy. The veggies were flavorful. The chicken wings were crispy. I would definitely come here again the next time I go to Sedona.

Hideaway House in Sedona, AZ, Italian Restaurant. Excellent homemade bread.

We enjoyed our dinner at the Hideaway House in Sedona, AZ. Hideaway House is a popular, family-owned Italian restaurant known for its casual atmosphere, homemade food, and stunning views of the red rocks from its multiple patios and balconies. We recommend the following: Appetizer: * Homemade Bread, served with a side of balsamic and extra virgin olive oil infused with herbs for dipping. This is a MUST order!! Dinners: * Baked Meatball Parm with homemade pork and beef meatballs on freshly baked bread, marinara, and melted mozzarella. * Chicken Pesto, House made pesto cream sauce, roasted tomatoes, and grilled chicken breast over penne. Dessert: Limoncello Berry Mascarpone Cake with Berry Compote, Fresh Whipped Cream and Limoncello. Drinks: *Prickly Pear margarita Everything we ordered was excellent! Our server Troy made great food recommendations. Check it out when in the area! Happy Yelping :)

Hideaway house was a great restaurant to enjoy a delicious lunch/dinner while admiring the scenic view of the red rocks of Sedona. I highly recommend to reserve ahead of time if possible. The wait was manageable but I can imaging it getting quite long during peak times. We were able to be seated on the patio with a great view of the landscape. Our waiter was very kind and helpful. We decided on the Kat's way/green goddess pizza, French onion soup, and the meat lasagna. All three items were delicious! Very short wait to receive the food after ordering and when it started raining the staff made sure we were all covered. Will be sure to stop by again next time I'm in the area

10' small pizza

Absolutely fun little space. Pro tip, ask to sit outside on the back balcony and enjoy the view while you eat. The views are amazing. The food was very good. Ordered a 10' small pizza for 2 and it was super tasty. If hungry i would recommend a bigger size. Order that size as a snack and we're still hiking after. Also, service was super nice and quick with the order. Be sure to check out the shops next door.

My goodness I get the hype!! The view is breathtaking and the patio seating feels nice and cozy :) The food is classic - really yummy but nothing that I'll find myself craving randomly at 2am. The dog menu is a perfect little touch - our post-hike pup wolfed the chicken down! Great service too!

The food was fine, but the views on the patio were breathtaking, and worth the wait! The male server we had was very friendly and attentive, however the female server who sat us at our table was very sassy. Come for the views and share a pizza.

Tucked away around the roundabout near downtown Sedona, this place feels like one of Arizona's best-kept secrets. The setting alone is unforgettable -- stunning red rock views, plenty of seating, and an atmosphere that somehow feels both elevated and completely relaxed. Whether you choose indoor or outdoor seating, the experience feels thoughtfully curated from start to finish. On chilly Sedona evenings, they even offer blankets outside, which adds such a warm and welcoming touch. The food? Absolutely extraordinary. Fresh is an understatement here -- every ingredient tastes vibrant, intentional, and beautifully sourced. Even the vegetables somehow steal the spotlight. The menu is creative without trying too hard, and everything feels like edible art while still being deeply satisfying. The pizzas are phenomenal, especially the peach pizza, which balances sweet, savory, fresh, and smoky flavors perfectly. The hamburgers are equally impressive -- juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with the same level of care as everything else on the menu. If they have specials running, order one. Trust me. This is the kind of kitchen where the chefs know exactly what they're doing. Hands-down one of my favorite restaurants not only in Arizona, but honestly anywhere. Sedona already feels magical, and this restaurant somehow elevates the experience even more. Absolutely impressed from beginning to end.

"Just Peachy" Mocktail was very nice.

This is an extremely popular restaurant. Be prepared to wait. They have their own parking lot but don't be surprised if it fills up. Parking is almost impossible everywhere in Sedona. You can probably park illegally in someone else's lot but if you do that, good luck to you and don't send me your ticket. The inside is funky and delightfully decorated. If you get really lucky and are able to sit on the deck while you dine, the views of the red rocks are tremendous. The menu is very well written and made me want to try everything. In all honestly, I do not think the food is amazing. The place is as cute as a bug in a rug, but the food is not spectacular. I totally get why the place is so popular because of the location, the great menu, and the overall funkiness. Just know that the food is good but maybe not great. We tried both the onion soup and the sausage soup and they were both solid. The Alfredo with chicken and broccoli was good. The Caesar salad was good. We also tried a "Kat's Way" pizza (half Date Night and half Green Goddess) and it was nice and fresh. Our server was a very nice guy and we could see he was working hard. I would suggest going harder on the drinks here than on the food. The cocktails are very good and they offer a number of mocktails, too. For some reason the Yelp waitlist wasn't working when I first accessed it but after I went to the restaurant, I was put on the list and it worked. I am a huge fan of the Yelp waitlist and recommend it highly, if you can access it. Funky interior, beautiful views, tough parking, and good food. It's worth a visit.

The view was the best part

The best thing about this place was beautiful views and the cute set up. Otherwise, it was very very mediocre. I get that it's an incredibly busy and touristy spot, so I'll give them credit for that. We got there about 15 mis after it opened on a Thursday morning, was given an attitude for not having a reservation, was told that it would be a 40 mins wait, given a pager, and that if we didn't make it back to the restaurant within 5 mins of our table being ready we would lose our spot. That's fine. I get it. The problem is...the food was not great. It wasn't terrible, but it was not delicious. The gluten-free pizza crust was soggy and tasteless, the cheese was undercooked. My son's shrimp dish was spiced strangely and he couldn't finish it.The kids meals were drenched in butter. No one finished their meals. Everything was overpriced. Again, I understand this often the case for touristy places like this...you are there for the ambiance, not the food. But, I imagined there are other restaurants in the area that have better food and service and similar views.

Phenomenal place to eat after a day of off roading! Food was incredible and the drinks were to die for!! Views are outstanding also!!!

The food, service, and atmosphere are excellent. This is my second time here and always is a good experience

So many good reviews but the food is not it. We got the hummus platter. Not a lot of hummus in the bowl. The wings were good. We got 2 burgers cooked medium, one of them was burnt. We exchanged it for a chicken sandwich and that tasted better. I got the steak on a stick and it did not taste like steak. Tasted like lamb or bison idk. The chicken Parmesan and Alfredo didn't hit either. Also they can only do 1 check and if you pay with card it's a fee, also gratuity over 5 people on the group.

This place is amazing!! Put it on your must-try list for Sedona. It has an amazing two story open patio out back, overlooking the trees and the creek. Inside is really cute - great seating options inside and out. The food was phenomenal! All of their breads are made in house and you can tell how fresh the they are. The house bread (with dipping sauce) and the foccacia are amazing. We tried the mussels, meatballs, and pizza and everything was great. Mussels in fra diavolo sauce were amazing - I got them extra spicy with more Calabrian chile and they were perfect! We also tried the bbq chicken pizza (thanks to the recommendation from the amazing bartender who was so helpful and friendly!) and it is the best we have had. Stop here for sure! Parking seems a bit limited so walk if you can or make it part of your day when stopping by anywhere close.

Inside was very spacious. We ordered at the counter and couldn't help but notice all the beautiful breads and pastries behind the display counter. The menu was extensive- breakfast items, salads, sandwiches, pastas, soups, small bites, and a kids menu. Soo many choices but I ended up ordering half soup and salad and my hubby got the steak torta sandwich, the advertised special. The meals were brought to our table. Spicy chicken soup/strawberry spinach salad without bleu cheese- delicious! The soup was VF/DF. Very tasty with a little kick. I didn't see any chicken, but nevertheless it was still good. The salad was fresh and I enjoyed the various textures with the strawberries and nuts. The dressing was nice and light. It also came with 2 pieces of their sliced bread. The steak torta sandwich- yummy! Hubby enjoyed it. It came with a side of sweet potato chips that were to die for. Oh and I almost forgot! Their outdoor seating faced the gorgeous Sedona rock formations. We ate our dinner facing the beautiful views and watched the sunset : ) Great food, friendly service, and gorgeous views! You order at the window, take a number, and seat yourself in a small shopping complex. While there's the option to sit inside a small/air-conditioned room, there's also shaded patio seating and seating in the hallway of the connected small shopping building, where most of the tables are. It's completely shaded but open to outside air. After ordering the The Morning After burger (Fried Egg, Bacon, Cheddar, Fresh Jalapenos) + small Seasoned Fries (for 1-2 people), we waited about 15 minutes for the food to be brought to our table. They were kind enough to cut the burger in half and provide an egg for each half, since they knew we were sharing!! Indeed, 1 burger and 1 small fry is enough to feed 2 people. As expected, the burger was juicy, flavorful, and the egg was perfectly fried to still be runny. Outlaw Grille is a small burger joint packed with big flavors. No frills, no nonsense -- just good ass food at reasonable prices. Bonus: asking for a free water cup will score you delicious Sedona spring water!

This place knows its way around meat without making it complicated. The sweet potato fries are another win crispy, hot, and not doing that sad limp fry thing that ruins everyone's afternoon. Overall, this is a staple Sedona burger stop for me. If you're coming off the trails and want something satisfying, this is the move. It can get very busy in the afternoon on the weekend, so just be aware that the wait can vary.
