We just wanna say that the workers that came were great! We had them come out about a year or so ago to replace a part on are ac unit, the gentleman knew what it was before even looking at the unit(explained it to me over the phone). While they were here they said that are unit was outdated(installed over 20 years ago) and could give us an estimate for a new unit but we declined at the time. We were having a bit of trouble with the furnace(you know after the ice storm in which we were without power for 5 days), so called to get an estimate which was unbeatable. Took them two days but the weather was cool so it worked out. Heck they even replaced some sheetrock for us the closet where the unit goes. All in all, all the workers were very kind and efficient. So if ya need any type of HVAC repair give Larry and his crew a call! read more

My mobile home's AC unit stopped working and I had to find someone to fix it quick. I had called about 4 different companies before contacting Hill Country. None of those companies would come out because it was a mobile home. But Hill Country came within an hour. They diagnosed the problem, and, unfortunately, I did need a new HVAC unit. My A/C conked out last week and called Larry to come out and quote. He showed up promptly and gave me a quote for a new 4 ton system. Got two other quotes and Larry beat them all and got the job, which I'm glad because he is a great guy and very personable not to mention very knowledgeable about the systems he sells and installs. Helped me understand all the lingo such as "seer" and "one stage", "two stage", etc. Anyway, if you are in need of excellent A/C service I highly recommend Larry and Hill County A/C. Larry and his team are absolutely brilliant, efficient and will make you a great deal. He & his team do a fast and quality install and was able to install our new system in one day which I am so thankful for because sleeping in the humid heat is NO fun. Five Stars for Larry! After calling 2 other big name companies and waiting for a return call, none came! I called HILL COUNTRY A/C SOLUTIONS and talked to Larry. He had a very busy scheduled day but went out of his way to come by just 4 hours after I called. He checked why I had water coming through my ceiling and rectified the problem and even explained a series of steps to prevent this from happening again. After expecting to have to pay him right on spot, he said don't worry I will mail you invoice. Larry is the owner of the company and he deserves this great review! I came home after a particularly bad day to discover my A/C was blowing hot air. I called several places before finding Hill Country A/C Solutions. All of them could not help us for several days. Larry was at our house within 30 minutes of my call and within another 10 minutes he had found the bad part, replaced it and had my A/C blowing cool air. I only wish I had found this place sooner. Larry came out to work on a rental unit of mine and had the A/C unit working like a charm in no time. He topped it off with freon and even replaced some missing or needed parts on the A/C unit at a very reasonable price. The total bill was a fraction of what my regular HVAC guy normally charges me. We thought we had an issue with the temperature in the condo and Larry even offered to come back out to check out the problem. Our AC stopped cooling during the night. First time in the morning I immediately started calling companies to come out. One took 13 hours to return my message. Another told me the soonest they could make it was about 8 days out. One company even told me they will not service anything they did not install. Finally I find Hill Country A/C. Larry has to be one of the nicest and honest guys you'll ever meet. He was at my home that day and got my system running very quickly. I've been using Larry for all my AC needs for about 5 years now. Every time I call he's very responsive, including coming to my house after hours to address any situation or helping me walk through it over the phone. Larry is honest and knowledgeable and will not do work that "does not need to be done", only what is needed. My air conditioner quit during the night, and I called Larry at 7 AM after looking on the Internet for local service providers. He was here within an hour, replaced a capacitor and had my unit running before 8:30 AM. His price was fair and reasonable. That kind of service is hard to find!!! Larry came out today to fix our A/C drain pipe which was clogged and caused water to leak in our attic. Despite it being a Saturday and the day after the hottest day of the year, he showed up within an hour after I called him. He was kind enough to explain to me what he was doing, show me how to fix the problem if it ever happened again, and gave me tips on how to prevent it.
