I could write a long glowing review but so many people already have. I LOVE the place because go the food and the people. The prices are great and the portions are amazing. Yelp says its a Greek restaurant. Maybe it is but I love the chicken parm and the great fish dishes and the pizza. I don't view it as a Greek restaurant but maybe I would if I tried a Greek dish. So if you are not looking for Greek food you can find a lot of other food to love The people are two nice. This is a family place run by a great family. This is the place if you love amazing, home cooked Greek (and more) food. Teens had chicken parm, we had Gyros and Greek salad, all was soooo good. Called in an order on Sunday (4/6/2014) and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. Went to pick up 25 minutes later and they had not started working on it (misplaced the slip). No big deal, the cook tells me it will be "2 minutes". After 30 minutes I went back to the counter and the cook looks at me like he's never seen me before. I explain to him again what we ordered and he tells me "Right! 2 minutes". I watch him start preparing our order, which he had not even started yet. We walked out and went up the street. Stopped by after reading the other reviews on our way out of Boston. My boyfriend ordered the angus cheeseburger and I got the chicken tenders. We also ordered the mozzarella sticks and onion rings. The cheeseburger was phenomenal, juicy, and just yummy in general (quoted from the boyfriend). The mozzarella sticks were great to bite into and the cheese would stretch just right, "straight fire" is what the boy rates it as. The onion rings were very good and you didn't have to worry about the whole onion coming out after just one bite either! Now the chicken tenders were some of the best I've ever had! Super juicy on the inside and the crunch was amazing. I highly recommend this place, it was phenomenal and it felt personal with the staff working. They cleaned the table we chose to sat down at immediately and the food came out much quicker than I was ever expecting! read more

My husband and I have been to the Grill many times and have never been disappointed! Our fav - hands down - fish and chips. The Hillside looks much like a small take-out pizza place but don't be fooled. Truthfully, pizza isn't my first choice when eating there. Me and my family were spending the day at tougas farm in Northboro , and we were looking for a place to eat after a long day of apple picking . While searching yelp , we came across the hillside grille , and i'm so glad that we did . The food was so delicious and fresh , the place was so clean , and the service was amazing , the gentleman took even the time to switch the tv to the kids channel, which gave the kids something to focus on until the food was ready. Hands down the worst pizza I've ever tasted. (crust, sauce, and cheese were all awful). Alfredo was bland, and pasta over-cooked. Only positives were the friendly staff and clean dining area. Maybe their sandwiches are a better option, but we won't be back to find out. read more

We ordered a Greek salad, chicken tenders, chicken gyro and the fish and friend haddock. The gyro was delicious and I'll definitely be getting it for take out again. The fries were great too. I wasn't a big fan of the chicken. It seemed to have been fried in the same vat as the fish so it tasted pretty fishy. The Greek salad was good and I was glad the pita had pockets. We were driving home in an unfamiliar area while Covid-19 restrictions were still in effect and looking for a safe place to get some take-out. We were stopped in traffic in front of Hillside Grill and saw that they were open so without checking any reviews we thought we would give it a try. We were glad we did. Upon entering (with masks of course) we noticed how clean the place was and how the two guys at the grill warmly greeted us. I ordered the fish sandwich and my wife the tuna sandwich. The lunch was brought to our car where we waited. We drove down the street to eat at a park. Both sandwiches were very good with a better than average bun and good fries. We've been to Hillside Grill twice now. The first time I had one of the best cheeseburgers I've ever had - probably not THE best, but top five easily. The second time I had the chicken alfredo pasta and it was spectacular. If I had paid twice as much for it I would have still been very happy. Not a fancy place, but the Fish (Haddock) and Chips (Onion Rings) were scrumptious! The Greek-American family who run and staff the restaurant were delightful and kept the busy lunch hour customers well supplied with food and drink. We visit here when we are at the Sports Center for tournaments. We have always thought the food is great and the service is super friendly. We were in yesterday and my knucklehead son left his $250 retainers that he's had for 2 days in a napkin. We came back 10 minutes later and the table had been cleared and the retainers were gone. I was semi unhinged over it and the staff was so kind! They went through the trash!!! They found one piece and we couldn't find the other. So they suggested we take the trash bags home. I can't say enough how nice they were to a raving lunatic mother. I apologized and I apologize again. But you've gained customers for life! BTW we went through the trash twice at home and found it!!! It will be fine with me if I don't see tomatoes, onions, lettuce or salad dressing for some time-the smell is ingrained in the nostrils!! Again thank you! Go here! Eat the food! read more
