We had such a great stay at the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor! From the start, check-in was smooth and I really appreciated that my Hilton Honors Gold perks were recognized with a room upgrade and a high-floor room. The view of downtown Baltimore from our window was gorgeous. Even though the room was right next to the elevators (which I usually don't love) we didn't hear a thing. The room was clean and comfortable, and my partner and I had fun checking out the baseball stadium views from the second and fourth floors. You could literally watch the entire game from the hotel! One of my favorite moments was after I went out for a run, the staff greeted me with a cool scented towel and water. Such an exceptional and thoughtful touch! The restaurant was another highlight. The short rib was delicious, the orange crush dessert was such a fun treat, and the pretzel hit the spot. The only snag was how to order food to go. The AI attendant on the room phone pointed us to a QR code, but it didn't have the dinner menu and there wasn't an option to place a take-out order online or over the phone. I ended up going downstairs to order and wait, which wasn't a big deal for a quick pretzel, but it would've been nice if there was an easier way. We also asked for a toothbrush around 6 pm and it showed up quickly, which was great, but then got a call from the front desk at 10:30 pm just to confirm we'd received it. Thankfully we were still awake, but a late night call could wake someone up. Everyone we interacted with at the front desk was polite and helpful, though no one really stood out by name and we didn't get any info about hotel amenities at check-in. It would've been nice to know a bit more and be able to personally thank someone, but honestly these are tiny things in what was otherwise an awesome experience. Overall, we loved our stay. Clean room, quiet and comfortable, beautiful views, thoughtful touches like the post-run towel, and great food. We'd happily come back and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Baltimore!! read more

I visited for a conference and stayed for a week (7 nights). I had a suite (19th floor) to accommodate work meetings. The rooms were spacious with modern decor and an amazing views of the city. At the same time, the hotel feels a little tired and in need for care. On day 2, water was dripping from one of the light fixtures in my bathroom. Also, room service comes from the coffee shop; it took 1.5 hours to bring me my order and they got it wrong twice. For such a hotel, I expected more amenities and better service. read more

Convenient hotel location & decently priced for a quick weekend trip. Room was clean, but the sheets unfortunately smelled like they weren't properly dried. There was almost a mildew-y smell to it, which was unpleasant. We didn't discover this until we got back to the room later in the night, so unfortunately we just dealt with it. In & out overnight parking is available for a reasonable price, and early check ins were available! Service was friendly. read more

I stayed at this hotel for a week, for a 4-day convention plus additional time before and after as vacation. Overall, I would give my room experience 3.5 stars, and the convention experience 2 stars. The rooms are nice, the beds are comfortable. They're not very quiet, as you can hear traffic outside and the doors to your neighbors' rooms opening and closing. Maid service is by request only. My room did not have an alarm clock. They have a "Starbucks-type" kiosk where you can get coffee and hot or cold breakfast items plus other items during the day. The restaurant area behind the bar offers a breakfast with tiered prices, and a big jump in cost if you decide to indulge in the hot entrees. You cannot just grab a cart for loading or unloading, you have to request it from the porter service (which increases the likelihood that they will accompany you, whether you request that or not). The convention space satisfied all of our needs, but I feel sorry for those of you who need to negotiate with the marketing staff here for one. There are so many regulations and union hoops through which you have to jump through, and meal plans for a group are expensive. The worst part was security. The hotel is in a generally secure area of downtown, but we had several incidents during my stay. This included two people being assaulted in the adjoining parking garage, and a middle-aged man attending the convention who was assaulted as he left the hotel and crossed the street to the nearby Marriott where he was staying. The hotel did arrange for additional police presence after the incidents, but it's still not good that these happened. If I were visiting Baltimore again, as a Hilton Honors member, my preference would be the Homewood Suites closer to the aquarium (where I did stay for a few days and wrote a separate review). read more

I'm fortunate enough to stay in full service hotels frequently, and this Hilton hits the mark. Experience is influenced by expectations. A full service hotel in the city generally gets a great location (my room looked into Camden Yards) and various amenities, like valet or on premise parking, restaurants conveniently in the lobby etc. with those conveniences come a cost, which is (to me) an expectation. I checked in immediately, had a clean and spacious room (for a city) and had Ubers in under 5 minutes leaving me no more than 15 minutes from where I wanted to go. So I'd go back, and if I needed or wanted fewer convenience or cost could step down to a Hampton. read more

When this hotel is busy... you'll know because the front desk pays enough attention to move you along, which is the ding on the hotel. So, our experience wasn't that great due to customer service. However, it is in a great location. It's a safe walking distance to the arena for a concert and very close to the stadiums. Trying to get an upgrade is an automatic "no." It would be nice if they at least looked or tell you why. If you parked in the hotel garage make sure you ask the front desk to validate your parking stub, they didn't tell us and we had to go back to the front desk in order to avoid the non-hotel guest rate. Big tip... skip the breakfast buffet. The line is long and the food is really bad. Do yourself a favor and walk a block or two for a nice breakfast. I think my pic of their "made to order" omelette summarizes the hotel... very good ingredients (nice rooms, location, views, etc) but the service isn't quite there putting it all together for a great stay. read more

I have stayed at the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor twice over the past two years, in order to be near U. of MD Medical Center, where my husband underwent lifesaving surgeries. Both times, I found that the staff demonstrated outstanding Hospitality with a capital H. When the staff learned about why I was staying at the hotel, they bent over backwards to make my stay comfortable and special. When I needed to extend my stay due to my husband's delayed discharge, I was accommodated. Reception took care of all of my requests. Even the restaurant hostess and the coffee shop employee cared about how my husband and I were doing. A special shout out to Cincere for her kind note and generous surprise. Unfortunately, my husband needs one more procedure soon. I am thankful to have the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor as my home away from home. read more

For a clean, reasonably priced hotel in Baltimore, Hilton Inner Harbor is a great option. Here's why: 1) Price: You can find deals for just under $100 when there's not a conference going on inside the hotel or at the nearby convention center. 2) Location: It's close to the Inner Harbor and within walking distance to Pigtown where there's many local shops. From the top floors, you can literacy watch a game at nearby Camden Yards if you're into baseball. 3) Space: It's a big space with a large lobby. They also have ballrooms and a pedestrian bridge that connects to the convention center. Each floor is kept clean and has art depicting scenes around the city. 4) Amenities: There's a coffee shop and bar inside the lobby. There's also a parking garage with in and out overnight parking for $35. There's a pool, sauna and large workout room on the fourth floor. 5) Service: Staff are friendly and efficient! If you're a Diamond Member, you get $24 a day food and drink credit at the cafe and bar. read more

Incredible ballpark views! But my room had bed bugs. I was told to fill out a security report and that they would get back to me. I have 10 bites from sleeping (attempting to) in this hotel. Management didn't offer anything other than they will have insurance file after an investigation. Parking is a disaster! And the front desk lines are often long. Long review incoming! Stayed here for a work trip. The location is good with a large amount of food and activities within walking distance. The harbor is about 1.5 miles away. The Edgar Allen Poe theme throughout gave me a chuckle. The lobby of the hotel is huge and well appointed. Lots of seating and space to work or sit and chat with your group. There are two sides to the hotel so there is lobby space in the other side as well. The rooms were ok. Pretty standard for this level of hotel. It was a double room but i feel like the beds were full size not queens. My room was not very clean though. Upon entering it didn't smell very clean - kind of musty. There was trash on the floor, the desktop was greasy like someone had just eaten there. I always inspect the bedding/mattresses at every hotel - no sign of bed bugs but my friend found a piece of bacon in the sheets so it was clear they had not changed the sheets from the last person who stayed/had breakfast in bed. The reusable glasses in my room were not clean - they had residue on the mouth of the cup and greasy residue in the bottom. There was hair all over the bathroom floor and one of the hand towels seemed slightly used. There are no individual toiletries in the room - full size bottles of shampoo conditioner shower gel and lotion are attached to the walls. The only individual/replaceable item was a shower cap and hand soap (no qtips, cotton balls, etc.) There is a blow dryer and it was ok. Food and drink here wasn't ideal for me. One evening the hotel offered mimosas and infused fruit waters to those entering the lobby. Most hotels I stay at have water and coffee available at all times in the lobby but that isn't the case here. I never found any vending machines and when I asked an employee where one was they just handed me bottled water they got from the staff break room (win for me!). There is a gift shop that has bottled drinks and a cafe that has a full coffee menu/lunch type items as well as some bottled drinks. These areas state they close at 10pm but my first evening I went to the gift shop around 7 and it was closed. There is a full bar, restaurant, and cafe in the lobby. The prices are unreasonably high for what you get in my opinion. At the cafe, I got a bottled water and a monster and it was $9. I got a pre made sandwich and bag of chips and it was just shy of $20. At the bar I ordered a well gin and tonic and it was $17 - 20 after tip. I ate breakfast and lunch at the hotel restaurant. For lunch I got the cranberry Turkey sandwich. It was dry and measly for the price - again, just shy of $20 for the sandwich that was a slice of Turkey on some very dry multigrain bread. The fries were super good though. Friend ordered the Cobb salad and it looked awesome. Breakfast comes at a cost - $24 per person if you do the full breakfast (any hot items) and I think it was $15 for continental breakfast (no hot food). The full breakfast is good and includes an omelette bar and made to order waffles. The employee working that station was amazing! So kind and helpful. Basically chased me down to make me a waffle and insisted I be seated and he would bring it to me. Honestly the breakfast was infinitely better than the lunch I had there either days. The hotel advertises a fitness room, pool, spa, and sauna. The pool is more of a lap pool. There is no gradual step in or very shallow end for children or elderly. There is only a ladder and the depth of the pool ranges from 3'2 to 3'6 I believe. Again, pool area could have been cleaner/better maintained. The hot tub/spa was drained/out of order :( there is an accessibility chair/lift for both the pool and the spa though. Overall, location and staff were great but cleanliness, amenities, and dining have much room for improvement. read more

I was looking forward to stayin at this hotel which was overall great as I was in town for a conveniton. However, I had some critical issues when checking in on my first day. I had made it known on my reservation that I was coming in early that morning and would like an ealry check-in. I even messaged the hotel through the app and the response was "it is a first come first serve basis on whats available". Now I go to the front desk and I had stated that I would like to check in. The individual at the front desk gave me major attitude and was just unpleasant. There was no attempt to even find me a room. I did not care if it was the room I had pre-selected. Not to mention that I was not even recognized for the membership status that I have with the rewards program. Outside of that initial interaction, it was when I was leaving, the individual sitting at the front desk did not seem to be someone who works at the front desk as checking out was done by writing down my room number... which was questionable. Wow! huge 800 room hotel. Very Very nice for the the price point. Free parking for Hilton Hotel rewards members. Free breakfast for the same. And the breakfast buffet was Ahh mazing! Plenty of my favorite fruits, smoked salmon, bagels, good coffee, pastries, fresh eggs (haha) plenty of potatoes and breakfast meat choices! Now, as for the hotel rooms, spacious, quiet, comfy beds, large desk for me to work from the next morning, the wi-fi was fast. I wasn't too fond of the carpet and my my digital key to my room didn't work when I checked in so I lost :30 minutes getting dressed for the ball. I was intentional to save time by checking in from the car and going straight to my room. Instead, I take my bags up and have to leave everything at the door just so that I go to the front desk. As a Hilton Honors member, I didn't get my complimentary water nor my parking ticket without asking for it. I had to visit the front desk just too many times for my typical Hilton stay. The hotel does not do room service but there's a nice little restaurant and bar downstairs. And the lobby is a lovely size with plenty of seating for conversing, networking etc for a downtown location. But they are plenty of restaurants in the area and the livery will come right to the lobby, front desk where you can pick up your orders. I give 5 stars to the level of security at this hotel! Room keys needed to enter hotel, to use the elevator and skywalk also had security.. A+ I really enjoyed my overnight visit to Baltimore overall. read more

This is a nice comfortable hotel which is connected to the Convention center and right across the street from Camden Yard baseball stadium. I had a great view overlooking the baseball stadium. The bell service was very nice. They even brought food up to the room that I had delivered from a restaurant. My only complaint was that this is the first hotel that I've stayed in that would not let me have a late checkout at 1:00pm. Even though I'm a silver rewards member, he said I didn't have enough points. It was the first time I'd ever heard that. read more

Overall, the room was fine other than the phone which was dirty and missing buttons. I was surprised that a hotel of this size didn't offer room service. Initially, I faced a frustrating issue where the $199 convention rate for the NCNW 61st Convention wasn't applied, leading to almost double the charge. I was all set to switch hotels due to the less-than-stellar customer service experience, but Kasey turned everything around. Kasey was incredibly efficient and knowledgeable. She quickly adjusted my rate to the correct convention price, saving me from the hassle of relocating. Her adept handling of the situation highlighted her commitment to customer satisfaction. On top of that, she took the initiative to update my long-incorrect address, a task the customer service hotline claimed I had to manage myself. As an entrepreneur, I truly value excellent customer service, and Kasey delivered it with a warm smile that made me feel genuinely appreciated. Her outstanding service convinced me to stay and made me look forward to returning for future visits. I've already shared my positive experience with friends and would highly recommend the Hilton without hesitation. Decent business hotel. I like the rooms and bathroom. They are good size, clean, and well set up. Wifi is good. The fitness room is excellent with respect to equipment and the view of Camden Yards. The conference rooms are good. The downsides are the limited number and quality of restaurants/bars attached and/or near to the hotel. Most of the better stuff is on the other end of harbor area. Parking is a mixed situation. There is generally plenty of it, but it is expensive and a complicated multi-optioned payment scheme. I've been here for a couple of work conferences and would recommend this place for that purpose. But if you are staying in Baltimore for personal reasons you can do better elsewhere. read more

Not crazy about it, but there is potential. The location is stellar; steps away from Camden Yards, close to the football stadium, inner harbor and most other attractions you would want to see in Baltimore. That's really where to good ends. The staff was rude from the get-go - leaning on the excuse of being busy with the Yankees in town to be nasty and disrespectful to anyone, let alone someone like myself who has diamond status on Hilton Honors. I arrived early and was shot down for any shot of an early check-in without even any fabricated effort. It turned out that I didn't even receive a notification of the room being ready until 5:15PM, which was late. The room was underwhelming; I got notification of a "free upgrade" to a "Stadium View" room, which had me a bit excited as a lifelong Orioles fan. I was disappointed fairly quickly, as the room barely looked into the ballpark, and looked over the roof of the lower level of the hotel. The cherry on top was on a 99 degree day, the air conditioner barely worked. I would imagine a name brand chain would have better air conditioning units that are fit for hot days in a mid Atlantic state like Maryland, where the summers are notoriously hot. Instead, I had a pretty swampy night's sleep. This was brought to the hotel's attention to which they allegedly sent someone up to look at it, but didn't accomplish anything. The bed was probably the best part of the room. I would have had a good sleep if the room ever got cold. The water pressure was decent, but luckily I'm 6'3", you may have a hard time reaching the shower head if you're shorter than 5'11". It's pretty high up(might have just been that one room). I'll make special mention of the older gentleman at the Bell Captain's desk who was the only person in the hotel who was professional and nice. I've stayed at over 15 properties in Baltimore City over the past 10 years, and this one - which I would imagine would be one of the best, turned out to be one of the worst. The Marriott across Pratt street - despite having older furnishings, is a much better run property. The AC, showers and ESPECIALLY the staff are much better. I would be willing to give Hilton another chance and amend this review at the right price one day, because I do think it can be great, the steps just need to be taken to get to that point. read more
