    Chicken bulgogi
    Charlie N.

I love leaving the club early.. because that means I get to eat. We could decide where to go because we were indecisive, but we saw this place was near and still open, and we weren't feeling like our usual Taco Bell! WHAT WE ORDERED: - Mul-naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles) - Spicy chicken bulgogi THE FOOD: Definitely hit the spot, but I wouldn't say it blew my mind. The chicken bulgogi tasted pretty standard - like it wasn't bad but I think just the nature of chicken bulgogi lends itself to being a little on the dryer side. Comes with one bowl of rice. The cold noodle was delicious and much needed after a night out, but I'd also say it was pretty okay too. I didn't get a picture but my egg was a little overcooked. Came with hot mustard and vinegar to add to your noodles. THE SERVICE: Great service! You get free banchan with refills with your meal. The servers were friendly and helpful with our requests. THE VIBES: Not the prettiest place - more so straightforward and no frills. Perfect after a night out with friends, but don't think I'd take someone here on a date and wouldn't bring friends from out of town that I'm trying to impress or anything. BOTTOM LINE: Pretty solid if you're just hungry and it's late (open 24 hours), but I wouldn't make a trip just to go here. But definitely on my radar as an option if I'm not feeling fast food after the club!

On the website is cheaper than what they are saying it is over the phone

The prices are completely different on the website then what they we're saying they were over the phone. They refuse to honor the prices and said they had no control over that but I still I think they should've just honored The price that they have on their website since I was ordering over the phone and looking at the menu that's on their website and not the menu in store UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE IF YOU DONT WANT THIS TO HAPPEN!

Simple Korean food at its finest. Plenty of options available. No frills but still delicious. I was craving Galbi and didn't want to do an AYCE restaurant or anything fancy. Decent average prices , quick service. Not crowded at all. Best part? Unlimited banchan! Only has 3 options (sadly no fish cake- my favorite). But they did have potato salad, Kim chi and Cole slaw- the essentials. Galbi was tasty and cooked perfectly. Good quality meat and good portion. I'll be back to try other food on the menu for sure! Another plus- they're open 24/7!

This is one of the last standing 24 hour spots in LA (and it's actually pretty good). When I was in my late teens, I would come here with my friends and a girl I was in love with who didn't date me at the time and it used to always be packed at all hours. There used to be a full staff and themed shirts and the place was always so loud and full. However, as the youth grew older, I guess they stopped going here, and I stopped for a while too. There was a long period of time where if someone would suggest eating here, I would say no because I thought of it as a 24 hour spot, but I guess we can thank postmates or uber eats for giving me a second shot at this place, because after eating soup on a random morning at like 4am, I thought to myself about how good the actual food was and started going back to the actual restaurant. Then as I went through the menu items, I was like this place is really really good! And it made me wonder why no one goes here anymore... it completely baffles me. Even during the pandemic, this place knew people were hurting, so they made 4 soup specials that the community could eat while everyone was locked in at home, at extremely affordable prices. They really care about the community. And while prices have increased just due to the nature of inflation and everything, they still make quality food here. I believe that their yukaejang is probably the best I've had in la, and I've gone to that place that only makes that dish. Their other soup dishes are really flavorful as well, and their sullungtang is hearty and the soup is so hot when it comes out, you get a nice steamy broth all the way throughout. Their dumplings are some of the best ones you can find in la. The fried ones have a great crunch and their boiled ones are equally as yummy as well. I hope people start coming back to eat here because it would be a shame to see one of the last surviving legacy 24 hour food places go out of business one day. This place hopefully can outlive me if people start coming back to it like they used to...

Solid food, reasonable prices, good service, and free parking lot. And open 24/7? Kam sahamnida! Have you noticed not all Korean restaurants serve good kimchi? Theirs was so great, my friend who doesn't like kimchi is a fan! So many choices, it's hard to decide especially when not a huge group. Let it be known that the soups are GINORMOUS servingsx Duk mandu guk- hearty delicious serving. Rice cakes are perfectly chewy. Dumplings were flavorful. Like a big hug from a family member's kitchen Kimchi version, yyuk get jang (excuse the butchered English spelling). This is my Dad's favorite soup. So much shredded beef, the ultimate comfort food. The pan chan was great, familiar ones like whipped potato salad and bean sprouts. Would have been nice to also get either broccoli or seasoned fish cakes. Maybe it's 2 sides for 2 people. The bathroom floor is uneven. I hope it gets repaired quickly. If I'm in Ktown, Hodori always satisfies!

Just watched OMD concert at the greek theatre. After , we went for a bite to eat coz we are all hungry and my friend recommended a good korean place which is this one. Hodori is one of the few restaurant that is open 24hrs. It was around 11pm and the place is not busy so we were seated right away and given the menu. There are a lot to choose from but my friend insist that we order the tofu stew and it did not disappoint! One of the best tofu I ever had in my life! We also ordered the stir fried squid and the beef bulgogi.... the squid was amazingly good! The sauce was very addicting. The beef bulgogi was ok. I've had better before. The kimchi appetizer and mash potato were also good But pricewise?! I let you be the judge! For me it's on the pricey side... The place looks clean. The restroom was dirty when i used it. And because of that 3.5 is the highest i can give

Have you ever dropped by Hodori at 1:00 AM after a long flight from LAX? Or do you know of ang restaurant who's open 24 hours, 7 days a week? Or perhaps tasted the freshest Galbi or Korean beef soup in Los Angeles? Hahahah, you're missing out if you cannot positively answer the three questions I just asked! Hodori truly offers one of the best foods in Los Los Angeles or KTown! Located on West Olympic and corner of Vermont Street, they serve a menu of grastronimy that anyone can truly dine or eat with anything. Yes, they do serve liquor and their Banchan are also savory and tasty. Manned by Korean Onne' or older sister, they masterfully Temu D me of the ladies who used to serve my food while doing research in Seoul Korea at Yonsei University in 2008. The banchan are perfectly mixed, kimchi is appetizing and fresh and the popular bean sprouts is divine. Their Bibimbap was different from others cause it has more collection of freshest ingredients like their Shitake mushrooms, bean sprouts, carrots, meats, and they cook their rice well done...which reminds me of the Persian equivalent of Tahdig! Parking is perfect and the are had other Korean restaurants that offers desserts and other snacks for the night. Tipping is optional but leaving a little something for the onne' is truly encouraged and cool.

Amazing 24-7-365 Korean restaurant that definitely got an upgrade since I've been there years ago - including renovation/remodeling and new digital signs. They serve an assortment of Korean comfort food faves - I got the chicken noodle soup - like bulgogi, kimbap, stews, and so on. Exceptional service where they come out to you and take your order. Moreover they give you great side dishes with your complimentary water. Certainly a must-visit spot in K-Town, especially late at night!

This restaurant is open late! We came here friday night around 1AM and there was plenty of seating. The food came out quickly and the banchan was nice to snack on as we waited. There's also plenty of parking available outside. Everything was also reasonably priced and the portion sizes are generous.

New Menu!!! Check this to order!!

Check the new menu to order!!! We love the 25 stir- fried Squid and pork belly, we always order it! The owner is nice!

    Don Ka Su

Perfect spot for a late-night meal. The donkatsu is so delicious! Its super crispy on the outside with a great meat-to-batter ratio. The spicy squid is another standout. At a lot of places it can be chewy, but here it's tender and perfectly seasoned, especially good with rice. Service is quick and efficient, and there's plenty of parking at night, which makes it extra convenient. Solid comfort food and definitely a go-to when the late-night cravings hit.

I liked the food that was comforting to have after a new years celebration . I just wish we could of had some drinks however it's late so it's all good. The service takes care of you and the environment is chill the bathroom could have some cleanliness but so far so good.

    Tax inclusive charge.

I couldn't believe I'd never reviewed it before so I wanted to do so following another delicious brunch at Joyce today. From the moment we sat down, the service was impeccable. Our table never lacked for tea, water, coffee, etc. Foster took great care of us (and shout out to Nick who's also provided amazing service to us there). The Bloody Mary was the first thing to blow my mind. It was absolutely delicious and maybe my new favorite Bloody Mary in LA. It made me wish I'd Ubered. But I also had some wonderful hot, Earl Grey tea. I love how they present it to the table. We covered a lot of ground and no notes. We had the caviar with crème fraîche and truffle kettle chips, a seafood platter that , the fried green tomatoes - which I will order every time I'm there, and the Dungeness crab and rock shrimp Benedict. The dining room itself is beautiful--comfortable, stylish, and inviting. When you look around the room there, it feels like every table in there is celebrating something. In a city overflowing with brunch options, it's surprisingly rare to find a place where the food, service, atmosphere, and pacing all work together so seamlessly. It was one of those meals that reminds you why dining out can still feel special.

She explained the menu and that if we were first time customers, she went more in depth with the menu and customer favorites. She was very helpful and courteous. The ambience is not too extravagant, but not boring either. There is bottom area seating separated with six steps and top seating area as well. All tables faced the storefront, which all windows look out to the downtown LA Street. The food I ordered was the spicy pork chop plate, which comes with, two eggs, and your choice of rice. I chose fried rice. The pork chops themselves are not spicy. It's the jalapeños they put on top. I wasn't expecting them to be as hot as I'm used to. But they were scorching hot and that first bite with the jalapeño was extremely hot. LOL. Overall, the pork chops are crispy on the outside and still juicy on the inside, which is amazing and their pork chops are seasoned just right. Very flavorful. I ordered my eggs over easy, and they came out perfect. It does come with toast, but I chose not to get toast today. I paid $ 21.33 well worth the money!!! My friend ordered the sweet-and-sour shrimp plate which comes with the same items as my pork chop plate. Just the entrée is different. I was able to sample his sweet-and-sour shrimp and it was very delicious. The batter had a great flavor and it was just enough batter to cover the shrimp. It was awesome. I will definitely return for either breakfast lunch or dinner. Any time I'm in the LA area. This is just my opinion you will have to go there and try it for yourself. Well worth it!!!!!!

The only reason this is a 3-star review and not lower is because the food was really good and well seasoned. I would not come back again.
