One of the best afternoon tea time I have ever experienced…read more It was a busy afternoon, service was a bit slow but it wasn't bad as it was a very beautiful day and we were admiring the ambiance Tea was tasty and all the tea treats are very exquisite and flavorful I love the scones and the cheesecake We ordered a bottle of bubbly to celebrate our friend's engagement and the bubby recommend didn't disappoint Can't wait to go back..

We came to Elliston Vineyards for a friend's wedding, and the location was beautiful! There were…read moredefinitely things on the coordination/planning side that seemed unorganized, and even as a guest I could see the holes. - PARKING - They have a dirt lot in the main entrance area, but I believe there are also additional spots across the lawn past the mansion. - SERVICE/ENVIRONMENT - It's a beautiful venue, with a nice outdoor patio area where the cocktail hour was eventually held, a beautiful small pond and shaded gazebo spot, and the ceremony site where another gazebo sat. Unfortunately the sun was blazing that afternoon, and with us facing the sun, it was extremely hot and uncomfortable. Some seats also had some bird poop on it, which was not pleasant to see. The coordinators/staff were not very vocal, so sometimes it was hard to follow instructions on where to go next. - EXPERIENCE - Cocktail Hour: The flow of the area was hard to navigate, as if you wanted drinks you would need to enter this narrow porch to get one. However there were also staff members exiting the building where the narrow porchway led to, so there was definitely some traffic there. Eventually they had waiters pass out hors d'oeuvres and also drinks, so it made it easier for guests to receive things without needing to get stuck in the patio area. Reception: We were instructed to go up the stairs where dinner would be held. Initially it was nice to finally have some shade, but it quickly turned very cold and windy on the hill. As reception started, staff began to serve salads. There was a large break between salad and the entrees, and it looked like they were confused on what table had what entrees. We were also told to not make that loud of noise... but it's a wedding and it was only 7pm? I'd understand if it was later at night, but it was so early still! Dancing Hour: It was very loosely suggested that guests should use the photobooth, and that we only had about 30-45minutes left to use it... but we didn't even hear there was one to begin with! They also started to pass out desserts inside the dancing area, but they were quickly swooped by guests and some of our table members didn't even get one. - OVERALL - A very beautiful location, but if the owners of Elliston Vineyards directly oversee the coordination and planning of weddings, they should definitely retrain their staff.

An amazing stay! My…read morefriend has been staying at Hyatt House for an extended stay and had me over for a few nights. I was amazed by the property and its many amenities. This hotel is set-up much like a nice apartment complex. Her room was the One Bedroom King Suite. It was very spacious and has everything you may need for a long stay. The bed was comfortable (but lacked in pillows in my opinion). The sofa easily converts into a bed which is nice for having guests over. The kitchen is fully loaded with all the necessary dishes and utensils. The bathroom is a little small but the vanity is huge. The closet is also very spacious. There are large TVs in both the living and bedrooms which is a nice touch. The amenities are great too. There is a basketball/pickleball court, pool, grill, and hot tub outside. It feels very communal. People are always lounging out at the tables and around the pool. There are also fire pits to relax at. There is a nice gym, market, and small lobby bar. There is also complementary breakfast every morning (which is actually very good). They offer omelets made fresh to order with other items that rotate daily. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating! One thing I did notice is that after a while, even with the constant room service and a clean room, the room develops a little bit of a stale smell. Unfortunately, the windows don't open, but if you leave the door open, it will air out. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Their breakfast was awesome with personally made omelets. Honestly their small little yogurt parafaits cupw were what had me waking up early in the morning to have breakfast. There's 2 options for them. Ones with frozen berries and plain yogurt. I tried both multiples times. For the plain one I would add pineapple from the fresh fruit bar. I loved the texture and taste of the yogurt. If I ever had to stay in pleasanton again I'd book almost solely for that yogurt and the dog friendly vibe.

5/5 -- Outstanding Service and an Even Better Team…read more My stay at Larkspur Landing Pleasanton has been nothing short of exceptional. From day one, the service desk has gone above and beyond to help me, and their dedication to solving any issue I've had has truly stood out. I want to express my sincere gratitude to the manager, whose professionalism and willingness to help made a real difference during my stay. The entire staff has been wonderful -- patient, friendly, and consistently supportive. I'll admit it: I lock my key in my room constantly, they are very professional and secure when they help me each time and without a single complaint or hint of frustration. Their kindness and understanding mean more than they know. I'm also incredibly grateful for their on‑call cleaning service. Having support available when needed, rather than being locked into rigid schedules, has made my stay even more comfortable and convenient. For an extended stay the $100 pet fee is an amazing deal, especially compared to what other hotels charge. It's refreshing to see a property that's both pet‑friendly and fairly priced. Overall, for the budget‑friendly price, my expectations were more than met. I'm genuinely thankful for the work this team does every day -- they've made my stay feel easy, welcoming, and well taken care of.

As soon as I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted by an overpowering perfumy smell, possibly an attempt to mask the musty odor that permeates the building. The elevators were a particular low point; one even had a scent reminiscent of bad breath. When I reached the 4th floor, I was hit by a mix of musty air, Chinese food, and curry. Entering my room was a shock--it felt like stepping back into an 80s movie with an outdated kitchen that included a coil stove. To top it off, the AC/heat didn't work at all-- not even the fan. After hearing the sound of a large dog barking through the paper thin walls, I quickly requested a room change. Don't get me wrong... I'm an animal lover, but when I check into a hotel, my peace and quiet are valued. The first floor room was an improvement, as it didn't smell like a strange fusion of cuisines, although an old musty stench still lingered. It had an upgraded glass cooktop, and thankfully, the heating and cooling worked. However, I found a used coffee pod in the coffee machine, which indicated a lack of thorough cleaning. Honestly, all the rooms need serious upgrades and fresh air, new carpets and better quality beds are a must. I could feel the coils through the bed and it squeaked upon sitting on it. The bathroom was decent: hot water and fully stocked towels, but there was no hand soap and barely any body wash. My advice? Bring your own toiletries. If you must stay here, opt for a room on the first floor and avoid the 4th floor at all costs. The smells alone were enough to ruin my appetite and keep me awake at night. Overall, the staff who I interacted with were very kind and sweet-- and it is better than motel 6 --just not the bed. So that's really the only positive thing I could say. The hot water was also appreciated. If you love hot showers, you'll be happy. *1-2 stars for 4th floor room *3 stars for the first floor room and kindness from staff-- although, I would never stay here again. You can definitely find a more up to date hotel that smells clean with toiletries for the same price or less.

Carpets were clean and the Hotel was clean and modern. Air Conditioning was very loud in our room so we couldn't use it, pretty warm. WiFi, like almost every Marriott, is just terrible. Not sure how they attract any business people at all. Our room had almost NO WiFi at all, and it was only useable if you went to the lobby - and that was their solution - hardly a solution when most of the business that we conduct is in our room, early in the morning, with a decent WiFi connection. We travel a lot for business, so much that we are Platinum at Marriott, but they clearly need to do something about their business model, get some decent WiFi for their rooms!

The first night, housekeeping did an amazing job serving the room. It was exactly what I expected. In fact, because I rarely see good servicing since COVID, I was going to leave a tip. Then the rest of the days came. After that first night, they simply changed the towels and straightened the bed. Nothing more and they didn't empty the trash. The third and fourth days, it was clear the housekeeping team phoned it in. The last night the bed wasn't really straightened. As for the internet. The first three days it worked great. The last night, it kept prompting me to log in and the pop-ups were endless. In the end, it never worked. When I called the front desk to ask them to reverse the charges, the desk clerked laughed at me that I couldn't get the internet working. I'm fairly tech savvy, so I know it wasn't me. See the picture below...and the endless popups. In the end, the Pleasanton Marriott is an OK property, just don't expect a clean room if you're staying more than one night.
