We have been dining at Holiday House since they opened. The location is charming and the staff excellent. It's a small intimate restaurant with excellent salads and sandwiches for lunch (the chicken sandwich is crazy good). And their special event family style fried chicken dinners are really amazing. Love this place.

Super cute atmosphere. It was 100 degrees and a bit hot, but they do have a super strong fan blowing. Would be GREAT if a bit cooler. Lunch Club sandwich $22. The turkey is real shaved turkey breast, not deli meat. Comes with a nice side salad if you don't pay extra for fries. It is a hearty sandwich, I could only finish half. Cobb salad with chicken $24. Very fresh and tasty. My husband was annoyed that he had to cut up the lettuce on the tiny plate, though... a mess. We will be back for sure...when it is cooler out.

The best gifts ever. What hotel just gives you gifts out of kindness #allies #loveislove

This is an absolute Gem. From the moment you walk in to a reception area that is art manifested into a living room Andy Warhol and Vincent van Gogh decorated together...or so it seems....then you enter the glorious courtyard that looks as though Marilyn her self just stepped out of the pool...this place has every detail and suprises...you should find for yourself! Great find!

My friends and I made reservations for the Friday Night Fried Chicken Dinner, and we were not disappointed at all! Love everything about the private dinner. It's a special experience I have not found yet in Palm Springs. The hotel itself was a cute boutique hotel, perfect for the private dinner. I will always have fond memories here because of this dinner. Lots of laughter and fun conversations. Side note, by the time the chicken came out, I admit I had quite a few drinks and I was deep in conversation with new friends that I forgot to take pics..lmao.

SHORT ANSWER: Yes in many ways…read more LOCATION: on the corner next to FARM, so a fall back if you do not have FARM reservations and hate disappointment of being turned away. FACILITY: Small, limited seating indoors with very nice, fun, outdoor seating areas. Love this place. MENU: Simple, easy to understand, great photos online if you have any questions. FOOD PREP: Very well done, like professional in just how it looks. FOOD QUALITY: Professional in how it also tastes... Watermelon Gazpacho was perfect with drinks prior to main. LIBATIONS: drinks and bartender were excellent, fun, and the photo print was very cool. WAITSTAFF: just so nice, and fun making the experience all that much better. We have been enjoying The Plaza Theater so spending a little more time in Palm Springs and this will be one of our favorites places to relax prior to an event. OVERALL VALUE: Good, but it is Palm Springs, outdoors, great locations, classy.. no, not inexpensive but well worth it. TIP: I'd say be nice, be patient, and you will get a table. Don't be an angry rude touron, we don't need that vibe and we see some of that in PS.. You can try for reservations, not sure if they take off season.

One of the reasons I keep coming back is the availability of private dining rooms that are conveniently located near the main dining area. If you're planning a group dinner meeting, just be aware that the sliding doors don't completely block out the noise from the dining room, so conversations may not be as secluded as you'd expect. That said, the food is consistently outstanding. The heirloom tomato salad is an absolute must-order. The crème fraîche dressing is incredible. Pro tip: save some bread to soak up every last bit of it. For the main course, the mesquite-smoked carne asada is exceptional. The meat is cooked perfectly, and the combination of pinto beans, ranchera sauce, and slightly sweet corn pudding creates a balanced and memorable dish. The portions are thoughtfully sized! Satisfying without leaving you feeling overly full. And whatever you do, don't skip dessert. They're all worth trying, but the macchiato cake is the standout and the perfect way to end the meal. Whether you're meeting clients, celebrating a special occasion, or simply enjoying a night out, Eight4Nine delivers excellent food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a dining experience that keeps me coming back.

We were immediately whisked away into a night of unrivaled service and culinary perfection. Tucked away in one of Palm Springs' most charming shopping plazas, this meal was easily the highlight of my week. The menu is brilliantly varied, but a few dishes truly stole the show. The grilled artichoke is a classic, but their execution of it is completely elite. The Halibut main was a revelation--hands down the best I've ever tasted. And you must save room for dessert because the Berries and Cream was worth every single bite. Absolutely delectable. Top it all off with A+++ service from a flawless staff, and this place is worth every bit of the hype.

Reservations are notoriously hard to get, but we got lucky with a last-minute walk-in and were seated after 15-20 min wait. There's plenty of parking, and if you do have to wait, they have a cute little covered outdoor seating area with chairs and tables where you can relax. We sat on the patio, which was surprisingly cool and comfortable, so don't let the Palm Springs heat scare you away. The whole restaurant has such a sexy, colorful, candlelit vibe that somehow feels both lively and intimate. We kept the drinks simple and ordered Hugo Spritzes, which were refreshing and perfectly made for a hot afternoon. What we ordered: * Caramelized Onion Tart (Puff pastry, chive, Comté) - This was recommended by our server and I can see why. It reminded me of French onion soup wrapped in a flaky puff pastry. Rich, savory, and definitely shareable since it is a bit on the heavier side. * Red Thai Curry Mussels (PEI mussels, ginger, garlic, lemongrass, red chile, coconut milk) - WOW. This was hands down my favorite dish. The broth was incredible, rich and packed with flavor without feeling too heavy. I was worried the lemongrass might overpower everything, but it was perfectly balanced. It comes with toasted bread and trust me, you'll want every last drop of that broth. I'd honestly come back just for this dish. * Steak Frites - The steak was cooked perfectly medium and was delicious. The fries were crispy and seasoned well, making it a classic done right. * Broccolini - Simple but really good with a nice char that added great flavor. Overall, we had a great experience. The atmosphere is one of the best parts..beautiful, moody, and full of personality..but the food absolutely held its own. Service was friendly, the patio was comfortable, and now I completely understand why it's one of Palm Springs' hardest reservations to get. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.

They serve classic culinary fare all inside this exquisite establishment with stunning decor. They have a spacious patio where canine friends can bring their humans and a menu dedicated to them. I've been in once before a while back for a drink which was just whatever then. But everytime I would walk by, it was alway lively. Today, after a stroll along the boulevard, we popped in for a drink. Of course they were pretty busy to start with. Checked in with the hostess which we mentioned that we just wanted a drink and if we could sit along the hi top counter along the front. Her reaction was quite cute and sweet and seated us there. I believe our waitress Brenda or Brandee (I could be wrong). The sweetest and friendliest. We happened to make it right before happy hour was over from 3-5. The menu was quite small both for the main and happy hour. Main consist of some starters, a handful of entrees and some desserts. HH had some drinks special, a couple dollars off drinks and some dollars off shareable plates. We just had one of the beer on tap which was on happy hour for 6.00. Also one of the flatbread pizza which came up to 12.00 on happy hour. A recommendation from the waitress which was great. It didn't take long for drinks to arrive and then the food right after. Flatbread was quite nice and cheesy. A good combination for a meal. We were having dinner later so something lite to share was great. During the time we were there, the live entertainment was setting up with live music. A nice treat to have while dining. The location is excellent. Right in the heart of town and on the main strip where people watching is amazing. There's a full bar right in the middle so that was nice. The hi top seating along the front is perfect for people watching. The whole patio seating is great for people watching. Overall, we enjoyed our quick little bite with a cold beer and flatbread. Service was great as everyone was very sweet and friendly. Love the live music added to the dining experience. Our waitress was amazing and the sweetest.
