Let me start off by saying if I could give more then 5 stars I would! I love coming here to get my nails done! I drive 25 to come here and get my nails done be cause it is totally worth it. They are accomodating and I always feel well taken care of when I'm there. My nails always come out awesome, Thanks To Sam & Erica! Everyone is great there though, I just always have Sam or Erica do my manicures because they take their time and make sure you get what you want and what you pay for. I used to really like coming here but honestly It all depends on who you get here. I usually get a no chip mani and a pedi. Sometimes if they're busy it seems like they skip things and hope you won't notice. I don't mind usually, but then don't charge me as much if I'm not getting all of the services that I'm paying for.... for example, last time I was here getting a no chip mani they skipped the hand massage and hot towel (in my opinion it's the best part). This time, one of the newer girls asked how I wanted her to file my nails (square or round) and I said "square." She said my nails were already short so she couldn't do it. I responded with, "okay, whatever you think." She rolled her eyes at me. Ummm, ok. Why did you ask? She proceeded to gouge my toes with a sharp metal tool until finally I couldn't take it anymore. I asked her to stop and move on. Overall, if you want a quick mani/pedi then it's okay, but don't expect the best one you've ever had. Last two visits were disappointing. read more

This is my go to nail salon. I've been going here since they opened a couple years ago. They have very reasonable prices and the salon is very clean. I'm very picky about cleanliness but this place is pretty good. The only request I have for them is to get more nail colors. The regular colors they have are getting old and boring. I love the pedicures here at Holiday. I've had several now and they always do a great job and keep everything very clean and sanitary too. My toes look great for 4 weeks + and feel good as well. Holiday is my go-to for pedicures only. I tried a few manicures but haven't been impressed with any of them. They cut my tips based on the amount of white, but once painted over, then the nails were unevenly cut compared to one another. I need my nails cut based on the extension over the tip of each finger. I also had some bubbly texture and some raw edges from their cuticle trimming that lightly stung for a few days. I have also had different nail techs for fingers compared to toes, so might be a skill issue on this. Regardless, pedicures are still excellent. read more

Worst place to get acrylics done! Two of my nails fell off and the rest were starting to fall off. My nail were only a week and a half old. The guy did not know how to shape my nails and some looked crooked. When I asked him to fixed them he was super rude and had an attitude. Do not recommend this place at all! read more

Took a chance as they were one of few nail salons in the area open on a Sunday - Do not make the same mistake. My expectations for a quick mani-pedi are not high and I love a great deal, but this place should be shut down. The manicure station looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in years, dirt, dust and residue caked on. While they used plastic in the pedi tub, the tools and products made me cringe. Where do I start? I don't think I will ever come back to this salon. The lady who did my nails (wish I remembered her name) did a horrible job on my manicure. She rushed the whole experience, which would've been fine if she actually did a good job. We called before coming in to make sure it's okay, and came at 7pm an hour before closing. The polish came out with bubbles on every single nail. I asked if I can come back Saturday to get the whole manicure redone. That request kind of got ignored and another lady just fixed 3 of my nails that looked the worst. Ok... those are the only 3 nails that actually look decent. Waste of money! One of the men is rude and aggressive when it come to doing nails and does everything in a rush. They preference people and their quality of work doesn't match the cost. I used to love this place. I just got home and so dissatisfied that I need to vent because they didn't care. I just got a no chip mani and a pedicure. He did not paint near the cuticle so I look like I am a few days into this mani and it was completed about an hour ago. The pedi isn't shiny like it usually is when professionally done but my bigger disappointment it the nails. I asked the lady, who seemed to be the manager and working on my friends nails, if this was something that could be fixed and she said I had to talk to the guy who did it. I said okay but can it be fixed. She didn't answer and he was working on a full set of acrylic nails for someone else and I couldn't wait for him to finish with that customer. She said he was the one who would have to fill in as they all do it differently; whatever that means. She heard me tell my friend that I guess I would just have to live with it and just never come back. Her English was very good so she knew what I said. They just didn't care. For $65.00 I would go somewhere else with higher quality standards. I haven't been here in a while so I guess I learned the hard way that they have gone downhill from a quality and customer service perspective. Spend your money elsewhere! read more

Never again! I walked in after work yesterday wanting to get a quick manicure! The lady who greeted me was cold and rude! She made no eye contact and told me to sit. Not one word and she was so rough in cutting my cuticles she cut my skin to the point it bled for awhile. The place was filthy and I could see dust all over the place including the chairs. I've only ever gotten SNS dipping powder mani's here, but each visit has been a great experience. My nails have turned out really nice each time and have lasted longer than no chip! The process takes a little more time than no chip, but is totally worth it and the price is very fair. I highly recommend both SNS and this nail salon. First time at Holiday Nails July 11, 2018. This place is dark and dingy and the drying station is crammed in the corner. There is hardly any place to sit while waiting. The fish tank looks disgusting I don't know how the fish are still alive in it. The girl that did my nails...think her name was Jenny did a great job technically and was very careful. Most of the technicians looked a little sad. The problem is the polish I selected must of been very old it went on thick and dried gummy...two days later the polish attracted dirt and looked dirty was on vacation so I couldn't change it. My daughters "dipped powder" nails turned out great though! I would avoid this place it screams I haven't been cleaned in a while. Message to all nail salons: Buy new polish and stop watering it down so much. read more

Not very customer friendly and forget about honoring appointments. First time to try the dip nails and they lost a life long customer. Stood there for 15 minutes. I had checked in for my appointment and 15 minutes later I had to ask if there was someone available to do a manicure. 3 people sitting around and the manager takes care of someone who walked in behind me. Today was my first time going to Holiday Nails. I used to go to Luxery Nails on 83, but after their new management and horrible service, I began looking for a new place. Holiday Nails Salon in Elmhurst, IL is my absolute NEW no-chip and pedicure place. I wish I went to them sooner. I made an appointment over the phone yesterday and was taken in right away. Ericka was my technician and she is the BEST!! She took her time, was super nice, offered me different colors to pick, and even painted the colors I wanted on her nails to show me (not every tech does this). She's SO kind, friendly, sweet, warm, and loving and wants her customers to have the best experience and nail color each time. She took her time and wiped off any excess polish and made my first visit, of many, amazing. Netflix was on in the background and it was just amazing. Parking is the only issue, but I don't mind the walk. I'm a CrossFit athlete; i'm used to the trek. I was here on Friday, August 4th to get a no-chip and pedicure so they would be absolutely amazing since I saw so many five stars on Yelp for this place. But the experience was absolutely AWFUL! I wanted a no-chip color that they could match exactly to my toes. They said they had the color I picked for my no-chip. When my toes were done, I realized that was not the color that was going to be on my nails but thought I would wait and see. I was RIGHT! The colors did not match at all. The color on my nails was way different than that on my toes. I made them re-do it and they were not happy. The second time the color was even worse. I made them re-do it three times. Needless to say, I paid the $55 and today; August 16th - my no-chip is chipped all over. No one got a tip that day. I was furious. I went on my cruise with the awful job they did, but was very, very disappointed with the service. Should I believe YELP anymore? read more
