Modelo and dragon fruit cosmo

Great spot to have a drink while you wait for the show to start. Ordered a cold Modelo and the wife ordered a dragonfruit cosmo. Definitely recommend this place

Another gigglefest at the world-famous Improv attended by none other than The Rat King himself , Senor Theodore Von.

It's a small restaurant attached to the comedy venue, with full bar service, dimmed lighting and packed inside, narrow walk way, servers dropped off plates and made loud noise twice that night, overpriced for drink but decent for small bites.

The most amazing experience I've ever had at a comedy show!! I came for my birthday for monderays. Deray Davis was an amazing host! He was hilarious. All of the "armatures" were the bomb diggity. Let's just say I was laughing from start to finish. I highly HIGHLY recommend people coming to this show on mondays. You will not be disappointed. On this particular day we came we even had a very special guest.... drum roll please MIKE EPPS!!! It was the cherry on top to an already amazing hilarious evening. Monday's with deray are a must!! They also have some really good food and stiff drinks. The buffalo cauliflower was amazing as well the chicken wings. Just an amazing experience all around.

The outdoor space is still beautiful, but , unfortunately the LOUD music ruins the ambiance. People have to scream to hear their table mates. So we asked to be transferred indoors. Food: fried calamari... well cooked, tender, totally flavorless. Caesar Salad with chicken... VERY little dressing (we had to request more as well as salt and pepper, the chicken... dry as cardboard. The only good thing about this experience was the attentive waitress, unfortunately I didn't ask her name. What a disappointment!

We ordered a bunch of cocktails along with a few glasses of red wine and champagne. The cocktails were definitely the highlight. We tried the Blackberry, Cucumber, Snow Pea, Tomato, and Daikon. The Tomato cocktail was my favorite by far -- savory, balanced, and not overly sweet. Blackberry was a close second, really refreshing and easy to drink. My first glass of champagne was unfortunately flat and pretty gross but to their credit they replaced it immediately once I mentioned it. Still, for an upscale restaurant, that was a little annoying to begin with. For food, we got the asparagus, burger, fries, abalone, and the bluefin tuna belly deviled eggs. The abalone was easily the standout dish of the night. Everything else ranged from just okay to forgettable. The burger sucked. Overall, I'd come back for drinks and would give the food another shot since the menu changes pretty frequently but this particular meal didn't totally hit for me.

We sat in the lounge area and it was perfect. Got the ham appetizer, the burger, fries, and the raspberry sorbet dessert. Everything was incredible, one of the best burgers I've had in Los Angeles. Service was also great. I even called about an hour after I got home because I started getting a scratchy throat and realized I didn't specifically ask if there were strawberries in the raspberry sorbet (I'm allergic and that was completely my mistake for not double checking before I chowed down) but the host that answered was super nice, I could hear in the background her double checking with a server, who then even double checked with the kitchen to make sure they were giving me the correct answer which I really really appreciate. Side note, no strawberries in the sorbet I'll most definitely be returning here in the future.

Started with drinks and, honestly, can't remember what everyone ordered. I got a Desert Quench which has a tequila base and flavors of bergamot, lime, raspberry and mango. Tasted great, no complaints. For food, we started with the bone marrow and meatballs. The bone marrow was like most bone marrow, you now what you're going to get, while the meatballs were underwhelming. They didn't look appealing in terms of color and flavor was lacking. Entrees, we each tried something different. The steak frites was cooked to order but really didn't set itself apart from other frites. The trout was cooked well, and seasoned nicely, but the purple cauliflower puree, for me, didn't come together in terms of presentation for the dish. The pistachio pesto pasta was very flavorful, mixing in the burrata on top and then the little pops of spice from the chili flakes.. Just a nice bite. Finally was the double wagyu burger with caramelized onions, American cheese and a sauce emulsified with bacon. Very tasty, and those caramelized onions just added another level to each bite. Overall, nice spot in WeHo serving up some tasty cocktails and decent food. Definitely get the pistachio pesto and double wagyu burger, but you can skip the bone marrow, meatballs, frites and trout.

The service was a highlight for the experience. Carson was very friendly and attentive. You know the memes that show people stuffing their face and the staff come to check on them saying, "How's everything, is the food to your liking?" and they can only let out a muffled "MMHMM?" We had that experience here. The only let down we had was with some of the food. The salad and the Club sandwich were great. The wagyu burger could have used seasoning- it felt like the meat itself was not the star of the dish, but only a texture. Its flavor was not brought out. Moreover, the fries were over seasoned and felt quite salty even without any dipping sauce. I enjoy my fries with ranch but the fries were too strong for ranch and it was overpowering. The cheese for the pretzel bites were also lacking in flavor. Lastly the pot stickers could have used a bit more filling because they were literally quite flat. Therefore, it's a 4/5 for me.
