Amazing service and a really great burger. That thing was loaded with toppings. I didn't even have to ask for a non ketchup sauce. The bartender was handling everything and doing it with ease. He was so nice and reminded me of old LA. I can see why this place always has customers. This place really made my day so much better.

Our original plans for brunch didn't work out, so we decided to give The Belmont a try since it was not too far out of the way. Cool little spot, great for watching football games. I wasn't really sure what to expect as far as the food is concerned, most experiences I've had with bar food haven't been good. I'm happy to say the chicken and waffles were good as well as the mimosas! Seating was limited, several of the tables were reserved, so we had to share a table. This was not the most comfortable, but worked out. Street metered parking available.

Ambiance, food, and service was all so great. The chicken nuggets were fresh and hot and honestly the healthiest chicken nuggets I've ever had. Service was always above and beyond. We loved Devon so much!!!

The Belmont is literally right around the corner from my sister's house and after seeing it on VPR I thought we should check it out. She had been there once before and was willing ti try it again. I had the steak baguette and an aperol spritz (just one). I wasn't too fond of either. This morning I don't feel great. Felt like crap last night after eating there. Thought I'd be fine this morning but sadly no... hopefully my headache goes away soon My sister had the pork nachos and she loved them. We are wondering if the Belmont uses MSG in their food because maybe thats why neither of us feel great this morning. The male "attendants" (they ran the food out to us and cleared our table) were great. The waitress was a little inattentive, which I noticed we weren't the only table this occurred at. When I ordered my sandwich, she questioned when I said steak baguette sandwich. Sweetie its meat and cheese on a bun hence I said sandwich.... The ambiance is great at the Belmont but we almost got a contact high from the smell of weed that wafted around us for a short time.... Would I go back? Probably not.

I came into The Belmont on La Cienega in Los Angeles on Monday night for the first game of the World Series, just trying to enjoy the atmosphere and have a good time. Unfortunately, the bartender completely killed the vibe. He was rude, dismissive, and downright disrespectful not just to me, but to several other guests at the bar. As a professional bartender myself, I know what good service looks like, and this was the total opposite. His attitude and the way he talked back to people were completely uncalled for. Honestly, it was some of the worst customer service I've seen in a long time. The Belmont might have a nice setup, but with staff like that behind the bar, it's hard to enjoy being there.

The Belmont is legendary and after watching all of the seasons of Vanderpump Rules, I had to visit when we were in LA. Service was so friendly and warm and the food was just as fantastic as I hoped it would be. We ordered: Onion rings ($10) Tempura Cauliflower ($14) Brussels Sprouts ($15) Fried Chicken Sliders ($15) Ahi Tuna Tacos ($18) Steak Taco Salad ($22) Belmont Burger and Sweet Potato Fries ($24) Margarita ($15) Old Fashioned ($15) Everything was so tasty - probably my favorite items were the tempura cauliflower and the Brussels sprouts, but again - I wouldn't say no to ordering everything again. Their avocados are so perfectly ripe in everything we ordered. I wish we lived closer. Outdoor patio was perfection and I felt like I stepped into a scene of VPR without the drama.

This is such a fun dive spot in LA for good food, drinks, and ambiance (especially during Happy Hour). The hubby and I enjoyed a date night here and tried out a few dishes, including the beef and chicken sliders, the fries (SO good), and the Crunchwrap. The bartender was able to make me a delicious mocktail and we had great service from the staff and the cool security guard out from. To no surprise, parking isn't easy in this part of town, but there's always valet and local paid lots down the street. We may or may not have stopped in as we are huge VPR fans, but we will definitely be back!

I really wanted to like The Belmont -- my friends love the 2-for-1 deal for the mimosas, so I came in excited to finally try it for myself. Unfortunately, my experience was super disappointing. First, I ordered a Bloody Mary -- my first one ever. Plain, it tasted like battery acid mixed with fish water. Hoping to save it, I added a few things from their Bloody Mary "bar" -- just a stick of bacon, a celery stalk, and a couple olives. Somehow, it got even worse. When I told the waitress, she did kindly take it off the bill, which I appreciated. But she also made me feel like it was my fault, telling me, "That's what happens when you add all the fixings to it ." For the record, I tried it plain first -- and it was already undrinkable. Then I ordered the crab cake benedict. It looked fine, but about 20 minutes after eating it while I was chatting with my friends in the restaurant, I immediately got sick and had to run to the bathroom. I don't know if it was the kale or the crab, but something clearly wasn't right. Overall, the vibe was cute, and I appreciate that the server adjusted my bill -- but between a $16 cocktail disaster and food that sent me straight to the bathroom, I won't be rushing back. plus when we left she looked us dead in our eye and didn't even say bye like whaaaaat -- insane.

I feeeeel like this place can be weird during the nighttime but each time I come for a weekend lunch or happy hour I very much enjoy myself! 3pm feels late to still be serving brunch but that's their opinion I guess!! We came at like 2:45 and had to wait a moment to order from the lunch menu but I think they let us grab some stuff before the clock strikes 3. Brussels sprouts are some of the best in the city - they have exactly what you're looking for in the perfect Brussel: bacon, balsamic, and goat cheese. If they added a lil honey they might be undoubtedly the best around! Nachos were really good too. A bit of a small portion to split between multiple people, so maybe get two orders if you're there for happy hour. Generous amount of avocado for sure.

    Pretzel churro. Enough said.

Overall, our recent experiences have been solid. It's always great when an "old favorite" still feels like a good value. I miss some of the menu items like the lentil shepherd's pie, but we have very much enjoyed the hearty English breakfast. They also have a good selection of European beers on tap. Service has been friendly, but it is lightly staffed and pretty slow, so it's not a good place if you are in a hurry. They don't keep an eye on the patio, so if you sit out there, it's best to go inside and let them know. They also seem to have more rules than before - but I have to imagine these have come from experience. I don't think this is an ideal place to go with a large group. If it's a quiet night you might be able to pull tables together long-ways, but most tables seem ideal for 2-4. We come with our dog and sit on the patio when it isn't busy. The dog meals are massive (more food than ours eats in a whole day and she weighs 60 lbs). It's a good value, but beware if your dog is on a diet! I already had my 21+ wristband on when I walked in, but this server still accused me of lying about my age and demanded to see my ID in front of a crowd of people. It was needlessly humiliating, and she was also curt to my entire party when taking our orders; she just seemed annoyed and irritated. The bartenders are friendly, attentive, and genuinely on top of things, which is a big reason we've kept coming back. Over time, we've even met some of the owners, and the place has always felt welcoming and well-run, even through ownership changes. That's why this last visit stood out and not in a good way. The bar was packed for the basketball games, and the staff was clearly hustling. Honestly, they could've used more support behind the bar for a crowd like that. Instead, one of the partners seemed to take on the role of... social host. He made sure people knew who he was, but didn't actually step in to help where it mattered. We've seen other partners jump behind the bar or run food when things get busy, so the contrast here was hard to miss. At times, it felt less like leadership and more like a running announcement tour. Meanwhile, the team that was actually working kept pushing through a packed house. The vibe took another hit with the TVs. With so many screens already locked on basketball, it didn't seem like a big ask to change just one on baseball. One of the bartenders even put it on, but a few minutes later, after a guest played into Mr. Big Shot's ego, he went and changed it right back. Just unnecessary, and honestly felt a little performative. We still like this place and really appreciate the staff who show up and do the work. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. I ordered the chicken schnitzel with mushroom gravy, my boyfriend got the Hungarian brat with spaetzle, and our friend ordered the Hungarian brat on a roll. Starting with the schnitzel: it wasn't completely terrible, but it definitely wasn't good. The breading was some what soggy and sliding off the chicken, and the chicken itself had almost no seasoning besides an odd lemony sourness. The mashed potatoes were honestly awful -- extremely sour, like they were overloaded with sour cream but missing butter, salt, or any real flavor. I LOVE mashed potatoes and only managed two bites before giving up. The red cabbage was overcooked, mushy, and had a slightly off taste. Overall, the schnitzel plate was maybe a 2/10, and those points go solely to the fact that the chicken itself was technically edible. My boyfriend's meal somehow managed to be worse. The bratwurst was fine, but tasted frozen and reheated rather than fresh. The sauerkraut, according to him, "tasted like dirty socks." The spaetzle was genuinely offensive -- mushy, overly bland, and tossed with what looked like hydrated diced mushrooms that literally tasted like dirt. I honestly questioned whether it had gone bad. Beyond the food, the restaurant itself felt dirty and had a strange smell throughout. It honestly seems like a place locals may still visit out of habit or convenience, but it no longer reflects what I imagine it once was. It's unfortunate, because there's something special about a restaurant that's been around for 65 years and still tries to maintain its old-school charm. Sadly, the food and cleanliness just don't live up to that legacy anymore. Save your money unless you're only stopping in for an overpriced German draft beer. We definitely won't be back.

The tap selection was impressive -- thoughtfully curated and clearly crafted with intention. But honestly? The food is what stole the show. I always love leaning on a server's recommendations, and this time it paid off beautifully. The chicken tenders arrived golden, perfectly crispy on the outside, and impossibly juicy within. We have been to Kings Head so many times and I have forgotten to review them. We have dined there…read moreat least 10 times and for the first time we just called out order in and picked it up. The place has been around for years and most of their food is just great. It has a full bar and a separated bar area which is so cute, but gets super crowded and loud. Eat in the dinning room. The place is older and could use a refresh, but it is cute and always super clean. The service is very nice. They will take good care of you. They have a nice selection of beer on tap. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their breakfast is really tasty and they make great eggs. I don't care for black pudding so I never get it. They have great hot and cold sandwiches and wonderful salads. They are famous for their fish and chips. They are some of the best. They are perfectly deep fried and the chips are great. I also get a side of mashed because it is so good. I also had a pasty, which is not on the menu, and I was super disappointed, so I won't do that again. They used to be great. I love their hot beef sandwich and often get that for lunch. There is something for everyone here. Parking is a bear, but you might find a place on the street or their is a paid lot across the street. You can walk to the Santa Monica Pier from here or to the beach. We will be back again and again.
