Went in Saturday night; was prom night in town, but wasn't busy we choose to sit in the bar for quicker service. The staff was very friendly, the food was really good, we got fried green tomatoes appetizers, was extremely hot, pretty good- would order again- sauce was very unique. I got fajitas - were more than enough- could have used a few more soft shells but I was full so I didn't request any more, my husband got a type of roast beef sandwich, it looked delicious, I wish I had gotten that, my only complaint was that the draft beers weren't very cold. I figured they had just changed the tap out, but it could have been that it wasn't chilled glasses.. So my suggestion is chill your draft beer glasses or turn the temp down on the beer kegs so they will be colder. This is a great place to eat, very unique menu & food is good. Food was very good. Prepared as described and was hot when it arrived at our table. But the service, well I suppose in order to have bad service you have to have service which didn't happen. Only about a quarter of the tables had guest but one of them was a booth full of young girls. And our server, Logan, let's say took a fancy to them. Not that I blame him for that but his timing, at least for our being waited on, was terrible. He took our order and brought our ticket. That's it. Forgot our bread we ask for, didn't check on how our food was, my wife needed more butter for her potato and dressing for her salad and no drink refills, except to go. This place is a great addition to the Morristown eating scene. I went there tonight to have a simple ground steak smothered in onions and gravy on mashed potatoes. Nothing exotic or off the wall just good old school standard and they knocked it out of the park! I started off with my standard gin and vodka martini and the bartender asked if I wanted blue cheese olives - I should have known then that this was a place to expect quality and the best service. My coworker and I visited Holston's tonight. We travel for work and hoped that this place would be good and a departure from chain restaurant basic fare. But no, this place was very basic. If you didn't see the signage, you wouldn't know if you were at Applebee's or Holston's. Nothing distinctive. I had the grilled salmon salad. Salmon very overdone. My coworker had a boring chicken dish. Our server was completely disinterested and made a couple mistakes even with our easy order. Won't be back. read more

First off the positives...staff was great...smiling, friendly, etc. Steak cooked perfectly, and the moonshine margarita was great. Now the not so great (and really it's the little things that would have gotten a 4 star). Bar service was slow..don't know if it was the bar staff or delay in picking up drinks but it took a while to get drinks and the restaurant was not busy and easy drinks blackberry moonshine margarita and a draft beer. Husband got the blackened salmon salad and he said it was good (but not great..lack of seasoning on salmon). My steak was tender and well cooked but could have been amped up with a compound butter on tap (garlic chive?) would have improved it. Baked potato was cut down middle and would have looked more upscale "butterflied" with a scoop of whipped butter instead of just a pat put in middle. Some sort of bread would have been nice too but no dings because it wasn't on menu. A little tweaks could make all the difference. read more

We used to go there quite often and then the service and the food went downhill fast! We decided today that we'd try again after a few months and I really wish we hadn't! The waitress was very nice but we asked her to tell the cook to cook the steak well done. It came back twice and still wasn't done! We were passing through town and stopped in for dinner. We were beyond satisfied! My steak was delicious and by far better than some I have had at high end steakhouse for triple the price. My husband had the ribs and they were fall off the bone delicious! Our waitress, Vickie, was amazing and so friendly! Her recocomendations were spot on! We always pass this restaurant going up to Lowe's hardware. We kept on saying we wanted to taste their food. Once we were there waitress was pleasant to a car order. We did not get any bread served to us as other tables do. I myself got the Hawaiian chicken dinner which the chicken was very tough. My wife had fish and chips. Fish was excellent worthwhile. The the french fries we're extremely thin and shoe string light. My son is hamburger was a glorified Hardee's Burger as well as the shoe string french fries. Though the fish was good that's the only thing going for this restaurant. I will not be going back that was the pricing was acceptable I feel the food is not up to par. I hope others have a better experience because it is a nice in appearance. read more

After having visited the Holstons location in Sevierville and enjoying it, I was excited to try this location once it opened. We visited on a Saturday afternoon, aroud 5:45. We did call ahead to put our name on the list in case it started to get busy before we got there, and we were seated almost immediately. We were seated at a table that was pretty much right as you come in the front door. I wasn't crazy about that table, and hope to sit a little further back next time we visit. Our server was quick to visit our table, and drinks were brought out as soon as we ordered them. We had the fried pickles as an appetizer. They were fresh, hot, and tasted like they were made in house. Not a huge portion for 2 people to share (as compared to other places we order them). I ordered the Margherita Chicken and husband ordered a burger (can't remember the name, a bourbon burger of some kind I believe) and fries. My chicken was hot, juicy and overall perfection. I cleaned my plate and that's something I very rarely do at a restaurant. The citrus marinade really makes the chicken so flavorful and different, and the rice was perfectly cooked. I'll definitely be ordering that again. I ordered a side of spinach maria, but it was terrible. It had been sitting already plated under a warmer for what seemed like an hour because the top layer came off in one big hard chunk and what was left below it was in-edible. I paid $3 for that a-la-carte. I've had the spinach maria at the Sevierville location fresh, and it is good. I was so disappointed about that. Other than that, we had a wonderful experience there and can't wait to come back. Good service and our glasses never got below half empty before we were refilled. read more

Not impressed. Wish I had gone to Redbud Deli instead! (Across the street ) We had a table where the foot had come off and caused a serious tilt which shifted. Told the server, who said she would get a manager. Never happened. Instead we swapped out a nearby table. We never should have had to get down on the floor and fix it ourselves. In my opinion, this is one of the best kept secrets in this area. I've been there several times and it has always been a positive experience. The food is good and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is casual dining. You can go by yourself or with friends. It is comfortable either way. The service is generally good. Now, I am not usually a desert guy, but last visit we tried the "orange soak cake" to share amongst our guests. It was very unusual and absolutely outstanding! We have gone to this place on numerous occasions and everything had been fine except for it being an echo chamber. We made reservations here for Thanksgiving dinner. The turkey was dry and didn't taste right. The stuffing was bland. I don't know what was on the green beans, but they were also mushy. The gravy was sweet. Allegedly it was made with cider(?). The mashed potatoes were fine unless the gravy was put on it. My husband had the pumpkin bisque as his appetizer and he said it was so sweet he could not eat it. I had the tossed salad which was fine. For dessert we both got the pumpkin pie. It was very cold and I swear it still had a bit of ice crystals in it. The whipped cream was warm and it tasted like cool whip. Considering the fact that they charged $19.99 for each meal I would have thought it would be at least pretty decent. No. Complete failure. I'll still go here on occasion, but never again for a holiday meal. read more

The food was great but the service was terrible. We got plates but never got bread. When he set our salads down he couldn't get away fast enough. My husband sat there quite awhile before I had to stop a different waiter just to get a refill. When our meal was finished he did come get the plates more fake attitude. The unused plates were put back in the stack with the clean ones because like I mentioned they were unused. How did he know they were clean? You aren't supposed to put them back after they have been on a table. Jeffery needs to be retrained or something. Food was great, but not the service. We expected an upscale experience. The actual experience did not achieve that goal, but it was relatively good nevertheless. There was a good variety of menu selections. We were a party of eight, so we collectively experienced many of the selections. The food presentation was surprisingly bland and dull; however, the food tasted good. The mixed drinks were so-so. We had the orange cake topped with ice cream for dessert. That was amazingly good. It was one of my favorite desserts in recently memory. The service was very friendly and engaging, but it was very inattentive. It took a lot of effort to get the server's attention at various times and it took a long time to obtain the check and pay for the meal.
