They are a very small team, so they divide the city in different areas, and deliver to a different one each day. Because they are located in Stone Oak, they deliver to that area on a daily basis for free. I believe deliveries are usually between 5-6PM, so don't expect your paletas at 9AM. For free delivery, your order must be $20 or higher. If you want to keep an eye on their future delivery schedule, I highly recommend to follow them on social media. FOOD: During the last few days, the esposo and I have been celebrating #AtHomeFiesta and acting like if we were at Market Square, so we obviously needed to order some corn in a cup from Holy Pops. Why is their corn in a cup so special? Because it is maid with Mexican Corn (aka. white corn)! For a lot of you this might not be a big difference, but for people like me that were born in Mexico and haven't had white corn in years is a HUGE deal. White corn is not as sweet as the yellow corn most people use. It is a little more crunchy, absorbs more flavor and is ten times healthier. Anyhow, their corn in a cup is the bomb and everyone should order it. I also love their camote adobado veggie chips. They are very delicious and healthier than regular chips. SERVICE: The team at Holy Pops has always been the nicest. I've never had a bad experience when communicating with them. We found this little gem on the corner of Huebner and Stone Oak Parkway. The staff is unbelievable and so knowledgeable. We went as a group and actually went back with a new group a week later. I have to say everyone has distinctly different tastes but these pops are the bomb. I can't choose a favorite. I have so far had, Oreo, Reese's Peanut butter dipped in hardening chocolate and Coffee. Each of them are incredible. My kids are in love with avocado, dragonfruit, Ferraro (the candy) , and then my work friends loved the chamoy, tamarind, pineapple and pickle We are having a 4th of July party tomorrow and are expecting 11 kids. I picked up a ton of pops today and even dipped a few in some amazing toppings. This time I grabbed some yogurt pops and I'm personally excited for my friend to try the banana. The price is absolutely perfect. Friday they were crazy busy around 9pm and the young lady working handled her self perfectly. Yum, yum, oh . . . and YUM! Maria, the owner, was ALL SMILES when she welcomed me to Holy Pops! She explained all the options available, from mangonada, chamoyada, and my favorite, the paletas. I picked a cream based pistachio paleta and Maria helped me pick 3 toppings to go with my tasty treat: half dipped chocolate, brownie, and toasted coconut! Everything is made fresh in house and the store in general is very colorful and pleasant. True to "pop" theme, fun pop music played in the background. The prices are also very reasonable given that everything in the store is handmade with lots of love. Maria is from Guadalajara and she told me all about Holy Pops, how long they've been open, and about the space in this shopping district. To the right, there's a jewelry case, with pretty earrings, necklaces, etc made by her friend. She said if you buy some jewelry, you'll get a discount on her treats, and vice versa. It helps that the jewelry there is super cute, too. Maria also explained her two little paleta carts that can be rented out for parties. The small one can be handled by the renters, they just ask that a minimum of 30 pops are ordered. (In this Texas heat? No problem at all!) Overall I loved my stay here and even though it's far away for me, I think it's definitely worth the time and effort. We had great service from the gal working on a weekday afternoon, despite poor service cited in several other reviews. They're good but they could be better. Staff said they thought the water-based pops would be vegan but having these options clearly marked would be beneficial. This place is so cute & perfect for a hot 100 degree day in San Antonio. They have tons of flavors including water based and milk based which made my dairy free self extremely happy with how many options I could choose from. The customer service we received today was amazing. She was very knowledgeable on the different flavors, explaining how things tasted that I had never tried before and even gave me some good combinations to try. I went simple with lime and Tajin because I'm more of a salty/ sour type of girl and it was such a good suggestion. They of course have chocolate, gummy bears, sprinkles etc but I love the Latin flavors they also bring to the table (chamoy, Lucas powder, etc) things that I had never heard of or tried. I came for the Yelp Elite LatinX event and i'm so glad I made the drive. The place is cute and a nice photo op. Unfortunately the inside shop doesn't have the best AC. It was cooler outside in the afternoon with a breeze than it is inside. I love guyabana and you hardly see it as a flavor anywhere. It was refreshing but not strong jn flavor. It was more sorbet than a creamy pop. You kinda would think guyabana could create a creamy pop, but still enjoyed it. My cousins got the Chamoy Mango and Pistachio with chocolate. The chamoy mango topping/sauce that was used on her Chamoy Mango popsicle was sweeter than regular chamoy. I really liked it. The mango pop had a chamoy filling towards the bottom of the pop. My cousin found it a bit salty and overpowering, but I thought it was good. Pistachio pop was very creamy. Both pops were $4 each. Mine was free for the Elite event. Felt like a fancy place to get a paleta, but it was worth it! I came here with my wife and son for the yelp event and didn't expect to see a yelp vending machine which was cool. I honestly didn't know what to expect from this dessert store. I saw a story about it on KENS5 news today while at the gym. But the pop that I had was very very delicious. My wife had a pop and all she could say was "WOW". If you haven't been here yet put it on your "To Do" list. Staff, we had met two ladies that were accommodating and nice. Assisted us on what to pick based on our preference. Food, this place offer varieties of "Ice Popsicles" that are water and milk based. We went there and try the Mango Chamoy and Reese's. Their blending with their milk based was not too sweet nor bland. It all blended so well, whole for the water based, it was refreshing to have those flavors in this warm weather. Their popcicles also have a wide range of choices for their toppings that will surely fit on anyone's likings. The Ice Popsicles are $3.50 and toppings is worth of 50c each, they also have other choices in their menu that you might want to try. What a great place with great paletas! The atmosphere is fun and I like that they have later weekend hours.  The young lady helping us was very friendly and made good suggestions. They have several flavors of paletas and even more toppings.  We tried the Nutella with fudge crackle topping and sliced almonds as well as the cajeta with pecans. Both tasted great!  I have to say I was worried the cajeta paleta would be way too sweet, but it was actually perfect and the flavor was so good, especially with the pecans!  They went so well together. Now for the bad, which really isn't that bad, but why this is not a 5 star review.  The little trays that the paletas come on are truly horrible.  It is so hard to eat them and not just have the dry toppings fall off, but lose them all together because the tray is not that big.  We had the hardest time eating them and keeping the toppings.   When I was looking at the flavors I saw a label for strawberry, but since there were none in the ice box, I thought they were out.  I know, I should have asked!  After we made our selections and had them topped, we found out that there were plenty more of all the flavors in the back, but it was too late at that point. read more

It was a little hard to find- with a big beautiful tree in front of entrance- I drove by it once, and didn't notice it. Maybe a small sign in the grass for cars passing by? Toppings are also available like nuts, syrups, marshmallows etc. I settled on a strawberry paleta with marzipan and almonds. The unassuming bar was delicious. Very creamy and very strawberry strong. It was like eating a homemade shake. The marzipan and almonds gave a nice contrast to the thick and creamy bar. O really enjoyed the treat and it was a nice way to break up my day. They had milk based popsicles and water based popsicles, and I got the mango chamoy (water based) while my boyfriend got the choco banana (milk based). I really enjoyed both and we loved it so much we went back inside to grab one more to try. We decided to try the fruity pebbles popsicle and while it was good, I didn't love the texture because it was just like eating a lot of soft fruity pebbles. Flavor was pretty good though! I took a look at the case with all the pops as they're pre made but the toppings are awaiting your choices. There was an assortment of toppings from syrups to fruit, it all seemed fresh. I got the dairy based holy pop with the Oreos in it and topped it with chocolate syrup, almond slivers and coconut flakes. I'm a big fan of this place. Staff is always friendly and popsicles are very unique and delicious. My favorite so far is soursop topped with chamoy and the sweet orange powder (not too sure what it's calls, but it starts with M lol). Been wanting to try this place out, since it's in my bubble, and not a chain-- I always love supporting small business owners. Came in with my two elementary aged kids on a Friday afternoon. The girl at the counter was perfectly pleasant and prompt in serving us. We got two plain Nutella pops, and a pecan pop dipped in chocolate. They were both good, but the pecan had WAY too many nuts in it-- it was a cool-looking pop, but to achieve the look I had to basically eat a nut bar. The Nutella pops were really good but way way too big for my kids, who never refuse dessert. A smaller size option would be awesome. When we went to sit at one of the too-few tables, I noticed it was FILTHY with streaky, ice-creammy hand marks. I sweetly asked the girl at the counter (who was now completely sucked into her iPhone) if she would wipe the table. She quickly got spray and towels to do it; however, she didn't say a single word to me. No, "sure thing!" or, "sorry about that." I was really surprised it wasn't already clean, since the girl was sitting on her doing nothing. The entire interaction was just awkward and uncomfortable. Then, she went into the back. AND SHE DIDN'T COME OUT FOR 30 MINUTES. In fact, she was still back there when we left, so who knows how long she was gone. I could have grabbed more popsicles, dipped them, eaten them, and then still had time left to dip my butt in the chocolate sauce bin AND clean up before I left. Seriously-- I feel terrible for the owner because she has hired someone who has zero pride in her shop. She's just lucky I'm not a chocolate butt-dipping criminal. Also, the restroom was locked. We tried to get in to wash our hands but it was locked, and since there was no person up front, we couldn't ask for a key. When we arrived there were two other customers, but at this point we were the only people in the shop. Lastly, we all thought the shop smelled weird. Sort of like it was dirty but someone sprayed bad Febreze. It was weird, but overwhelmingly pungent. I'm not tempted to go back. The pops were ok, but not good enough to endure awkward service. I had been eyeing this spot for a week or two on Facebook, just looking for an excuse to visit it. My in-laws were in town, and the opportunity presented itself over the weekend. It was my sister-in-law's birthday on Saturday, and she was really craving a gourmet Popsicle of some sort. We had been considering Steel City Pops, but it was too far out of the way, and we wanted something in the area. Then I remembered that this place existed, and the decision was an easy one. It's tucked away in a shopping center at Huebner and Stone Oak Pkwy, but it's super easy to access, and there is plenty of parking. The storefront is charming with its little neon sign and there is a park bench right outside, for you to enjoy the tasty treats you buy. There is a great assortment of pops -- some fruit-based, some a bit sweeter and more indulgent (like bubblegum, Nutella, and Oreo cookie). There are a wide variety of toppings, and they're served to you in a paper holder, to control any mess involved in enjoying your dessert. The interior is adorable -- vibrant, pastel chairs; a bar-style tabletop against the right wall; a cute kids table-and-chair set at the back; and there was even a small, Connect 4 game set-up on one of the individual tables for the kids to play with! There is merchandise for sale (T-shirts, mugs, toppings, etc.), and the establishment is clean and smells like a dream. And they're open until 10pm on the weekends! That was a GREAT surprise for the after-dinner cravings. Altogether, we tried the Nutella, Oreo, Strawberry, and Coconut flavors -- all of which were refreshing and definitely worth the growing hype. These pops were delicious!! The watermelon was super fresh and the cucumber looked delicious, I ended up taking home two more to try later because they were so good. All of them are made fresh and this place is women owned and local which makes me feel good spending my money here. The toppings are a really cute touch to the popsicles with many choices available and if you like them enough you can even cater them at your next event with a cute lil popsicle cart!
