The refrigerator cast $700 new (9 years ago). $200 wasted and a whole freezer full of food gone. The tech was a nice guy. He recommended that I go to a used appliance store to buy one for less. I don't think I want someone else's problem. BTW Do not buy SAMSUNG. They don't stand behind their appliances. (Costco had the same size Whirlpool for $700 which is working perfectly.)

I called about an LG refrigerator I wish I had never bought, but that horse is out of the barn. I thought the cooling section was not running cool enough (the freezing section is (barely) okay). After explaining my observations, Steve explained some things about temperature variation in refrigerators and indicated it was probably doing the best it could. No repair would improve performance. He said he could come and look at it, but that would cost me a $90 service call and probably yield nothing. We discussed the situation a bit more and I decided to take his phone advice, rearrange the food in that section, and see what happens. Sultan came out to service my dryer which had a button stuck inside the door. A very simple issue…read moreturned into a catastrophe, as he ripped off a metal ring from the dryer drum and could not get the pieces back in/on. I had a fully operable dryer before he came out.... he then told me it would be $600 to fix and I told him no way. I paid the $99 service fee, which later was refunded after 2 days of back and forth. They actually defended what he did. Here are the photos. Don't trust this service. Now I have to buy a new $1000 set because he couldnt remove a simple button. Massively disappointed I chose this business.
