I came in today looking for something to purchase for a birthday gift. I walked around the store and ended up finding this jewlery box with her initial on it. I was in the area for work and had some time to spare and needed to use a restroom so I stopped in. The bathrooms are all the way in the back and clean. Once I was done I decided to browse. I agree with some previous reviews that sections are sometimes not seemingly as organized as would be expected. For example I felt that some kitchen items were in one aisle, but then when I went in another aisle suddenly there were more options. Same with the bathroom section, I actually did need soap dispensers and I ended up having to browse 3 different small areas that had different soap dispensers. As I was walking I felt like the aisles were small and I felt that I was constantly moving out of the way for other people even though the store wasn't very crowded. While I was walking by, I overheard a conversation between two employees where they were discussing an item that was damaged. They mentioned the idea of positioning it in a way that would hide the more noticeable damage, and I couldn't help but think that it might be more transparent to simply acknowledge the item's condition. If something is broken, whoever picks it up is likely to notice both sides. Perhaps creating a designated section for discounted items in less-than-perfect condition could be a more straightforward approach. On the upside, as I rounded another corner I found the PERFECT basket for my dog's toys. So I scored pretty good during my visit! Lastly, prepare to wait a long time for checkout, the checkout employees are very kind and friendly people though the line literally moves at a snails pace. read more

Wow!! It is only 10am and the store is getting busy. Upon entering the store, you are greeted with a Wow effect because of the amount of beautiful things on display. It is hard to decide which one to look at first. The store is organized, aisles are free of clutter, and there is an abundance of merchandise available. From quality rugs to trash bins, and seasonal items they have it. They have an aisle for clearance items and a few people are looking like me. I saw a few that I can use. This location is very chaotic. You can tell they tried to organize it into sections, but everything is everywhere. This location definitely doesn't have as great of a selection as other HomeGoods stores, but you will find your typical kitchenware linens, wall, art lamps, etc. They do have a pretty big pet section! They don't have any kids toys or many kid items at all. Also, somehow the furniture here is somehow always damaged. I find it really difficult to find anything in this store and the line always move slow slowly. Not my favorite HomeGoods store. Now that HomeGoods/Marshalls exist, I'd skip this store altogether because they're simply isn't a lot of items to choose from. read more

So I love this locations items which is why I gave it two stars. I'm honestly only writing this bc the cashier was so rude and condescending for no reason. First I asked if they have any more of a tray that I liked she said, "what you see is what we see." Number 1, I don't work at home goods my objective in asking is maybe she knows where more are being that the store is not super organized and if she didn't no big deal there's a way to say things. Whatever let that go then she asked me to donate (normal I understand it being part of her job) I politely declined. She asked me again while waiting on the manager to see if she could give me a discount for the beat up item (manager said no, fine I didnt fight it or anything I just said ok I still want it), politely declined the charity invite again. Then she asked me again when the manager left to donate and again when I paid. The very last time I told her I feel a little pressured (I said it laughing as a light but serious joke) and this lady turned into a C u next Tuesday. She said I'm doing my job, go tell corporate if you want (not even on my mind lol) and I said it's not that big of a deal you're making it more dramatic than it should be and she goes well you said I'm pressuring you and I replied yeah you asked me 4x. She continued projecting her mostly likely not great pay or day or smex life I don't know don't care I didn't go into home goods to be talked to like a hs rival. I never write reviews but This is a terrible Homegoods. I tried to return an item my grandmother had. I give the cashier the item who seemed nice but when she picks up the item she starts laughing with her co workers. Then they proceed to tell me as they're still giggling, "Yeah Ummm on the tag here it says 2020 so that's 4 years ago so I don't see why you thought it would be smart to return this". I tried to tell her I didn't know considering the item looked brand new with no scratches, stains, etc. Even the tag was not ripped or anything but if I knew it indicated the year I wouldn't have tried to return it. Since I only shop online I don't know much of that sort of thing. Then she told me "Well now you know, bye now!" & she said it so loud , I was embarrassed :( read more

Returned within 24 hours with the receipt, but the manager questioned if I bought it that way and made it feel like I was trying to scam them over $12. She reluctantly processed the return as a "one-time exception." The lack of empathy and accusatory tone were disappointing. Tried to find more of the products I liked from another store and the customer service help was so challenging even talking to the manager. There was no want to communicate and show them the pics of exactly what I got at their other store and they said I would have to go to all the stores in LA vs being able to check it for me. Couldn't even email the manager to send them the photos of their products. Alan who works here is extremely rude. He was the opposite of friendly and helpful. While talking to me he was rude and I watched him interact with many other customers in the rug area and he continued to treat them in a bad way as well. It feels great to be trusted! I helped my Son furnish his apartment and while loading the car up, I forgot 6 pillows I purchased. I called the store and they said to come in and pick out the pillows as they couldn't find them. Life went on and my Son forgot to pick them up. We went back 2 months later!!! And Alina helped us. Very rude and unprofessional customer service and even more unknowledgeable manager named Maria!!!!! The cashier named Luzha was incredibly rude and didn't know how to process a return, despite me having everything in order. She wasted 15 minutes of my time arguing with another cashier about a problem that the computer was showing, instead checked to see if I peeled off the barcode and accused me of foul play. It wasn't until she called the manager Maria over that everything went through with the help of another cashier. After all this, Luzha the cashier did not even apologize for the long wait and accusations. Very rude and unprofessional, she obviously is not trained enough to be a capable cashier. The store is absolutely gorgeous with a lot of nice furniture options but I had just moved from Miami and purchased a few items and no longer had the receipt for it. So as I proceeded to the checkout for my return and purchase the associate Rennie right off the bat was rude with her demeanor after telling her I didn't have a receipt. She didn't bother scanning the items with her scanner as the items being returned had all of the appropriate home good tags on them except for one item which didn't at the time of purchase but did have a barcode which was scanned at the original store in Miami where I purchased it. I love this location. They seem to have more unique things here than the other locations, including their clothing selection. They have it properly organized and clean. The employees are willing to go out of their way to help one find what they need, or even go as far to call other stores and order or place on hold. Found some cute household items as well as kitchen items for fairly decent prices. The sales were actually good mark down sales, priced to sell. Parking can be a bit difficult at times, so if you have older adults with you, you may want to think about dropping them off at the front first, if it is hard for them to walk a distance. I purchased a duvet cover today that was suppose to come with two shams. When I opened it there was only one. I came to return it. When I walked in the line was super long as always. I walked up to an employee and said where is the return line? Or customer service. He said you have to wait in this line. It's all the same. A little frustrated I went to the line. It barely moved in the 1o mins I stood there. I had to leave to get my children from school. The fact that I was returning something that was packed wrong from there company and had to stand in that line again was super inconvenient. Mirvat One of the lady who is working in Reseda's branch as a coordinator. She is so so unhelpful person with a very bad attitude and always give us the worst experience . I want to let you know, I had a bad experience one year ago and have not been there Because me and my family made a decision far away from this branch just because oh her ,but after one year I went there and I hope ,She's gone from here. Here's your top 5: 1. Great place to shop holiday items. They have a great variety of things from cool gadgets, kitchen, bed and home decor. This is my go to place to shop random household items. 2. Signs are easily visible so you know where things are, but it is still a struggle to find things at the store. There are not alot of people around ready to help. Items are often scattered around. 3. Awesome Italian inspired items. Reminds me of Sorrento, but made in China. I think the sign said made in Italy. 4. Line are long especially in the holiday season so make sure to come during the morning or weekdays! 5. They have a great selection of frames and posters to put up as home decor. This store is terrible! I went there to take back the four bowls I had purchased last week to serve salad. When I got home I noticed there was a warning on the bottom telling me that they contained lead and may not be safe for food. When I purchased them I asked for my receipt to be emailed to me. Never got it. Today when I tried to return the bowls she asked for my drivers license and made a copy. I tried to show her the receipt I had from my credit card provider and she was not interested. She would not give me a refund. When I insisted she brought out the manager who stated "we don't give no refunds" and she walked away. So now they have the bowls and can sell them to some other customer and they also have my money. They treat shoplifters better. They have lost my business. read more

The selections of everything at this location is fun yet chaotic, the lines are long, the service is mediocre, the staff is sort of there, but not there at the same time... if that makes sense (kinda of just going through the motions like zombies). I have found some amazing wine ware and accessories, some great gift baskets and items for friends and family here - got this crazy cool gold rim champagne glasses for two of my friends who got married here and some cool clearance kitchenware for myself I needed to replace/update. The last time I was here it took 20-25 minutes after I was ready to pay to complete my entire transaction... the girl didn't have enough change in her till/drawer to break my cash (the rare time you have money on hand and want to make change...) so WE waited until a manager could come give her change for her drawer... I wasn't in a rush but I was like GIIIIIIRRRRRLLLL... I worked in customer service and retail for years... I was really surprised that considering the time of year there isn't someone be it a Jr. Assistant Manager/Key Holder/Head Cashier or Clerk that couldn't assist her within 5 minutes or less (PIZZA PIZZA)... you can find great stuff here and the staff can be helpful at times... but just go in patient and positive since you may only leave the store as one or the other.... They hire a lot if anybody wants to go in and make a difference. read more

Hello. A copy of this was also sent to the store directly. I am writing to report a dangerous incident in your store, caused by your employees. On 11/26/2022, around 5 :45 pm, I attempted to enter your store to shop. There were at least two LARGE white Shepherd dogs OFF LEASH running around inside the store, near the entrance area. It appeared that the store employees were playing with them. As I tried to enter the store, one of them charged me and I was so terrified I ran out of the store, only to have the aggressive dog CHASE me out into the parking lot!! I was in total SHOCK to have something like this happen to me at one of your stores! It was completely unprofessional and not acceptable to have a business that is open to the public have this sort of dangerous situation occur. Homegoods is supposed to be a welcoming, safe location where the general public can enter without being assaulted by large, off leash dogs. I am incredibly disappointed in your employees and your store! I recommend you watch any video surveillance footage you might have of the store entrance at the time and date that I mentioned. The furniture is in much better condition here, and it's just better stocked, period. I was thrilled coming in here. I love all Home Goods but this location is the best. Last time I was here, the people in front of me in line said they drive all the way from Glendale to come to this location because it was way better stuff than the Glendale location. I believe it! Not only do I always find amazing things for my home here, but the staff are always MORE than helpful and accommodating. I was looking at a large mirror (marked down to $39!!!) and a very nice employee asked me if I needed any help and offered to carry the mirror to the front of the store for me. During that same trip, I also found a couch I LOVED (for only $499) and was told they could only hold it for me for 48 hours. When I told them I would need to pick it up on a Saturday (it was a Tuesday) they worked with me to make that a reality. Now I am typing up this review from my brand new Home Goods couch! Always find amazing items for my home (lamps, rugs, couches) and the staff are super friendly and helpful. 5 stars all the way! read more

Ugh, this place is awful. I didn't mind how messy and unkept it was at first because I get it -- the employees are tending to other things! Understandable. But then I realized the employees totalllyyy suck. I am not a high maintenance customer, I've worked primarily retail and service industry jobs, so I understand the struggle. But when they told me I couldn't buy a macrame planter because there wasn't a price on it, I was... confused? I was like wait... So I can't buy it... you don't want my money? One of the older employees responded to me with "Affirmative!"... Weird. I asked if they could give me a price estimate, anything, I just wanted the stupid plant hanger. Even if that means I pay $10 for something which wasn't worth that much money. No response. Two other unhelpful girls behind the register chimed in, "Yeah, you can't buy it." Okay, whatever. Honestly just upset at the unpleasant interaction at that point. Why do I torture myself and come back to this location? I have currently been waiting in line for 33 minutes to check out.... see my previous experiences below.... The customer service here is terrible, which is truly unfortunate because this location typically has great items. The check out line is always long and the cashiers and people working in the store are rude. Also, they make up prices on a lot of things. For example, I have found duplicates of the same exact item at this store and the two items will be completely different prices. Additionally, they price their items higher at this location compared to other Homegoods locations (the same exact item at another location will be much cheaper). Do not shop at HomeGoods because they return policy will not allow you to return anything even if you have the receipt or at least the manager named scammy won't and it's suiting name for her scammy because I purchased these items two days ago I come in with my receipt and the items that didn't fit what I needed them for and tells me I'm not allowed to return them even though I bought them two days ago and I have the receipt. She offered to give me store credit with my ID when I paid cash and have a receipt.
