The holiday season is upon us. If you have any doubt, go into this place. It's everywhere! I think they have just about everything. It can be a bit daunting if you go at a busy time because everything is breakable! Probably not everything, but I get kind of freaked out navigating past some of the displays. The items here are top grade... don't go looking for super discounted junk. But if you want nice items at a discount of what you would pay at high end department stores, this is the place to shop. The personnel have been a bit, well, chilly. Not sure how else to say that. They've been efficient but not especially personable. Not a huge deal for me; just something I've noticed. read more

I really dislike this home goods for many reasons but for one the older lady who is the manager. The staff is extremely friendly when checking out but the women who is the manager had a stick up her you know what because she always has a stink face and is yelling at her staff. I honestly don't go here anymore because of that women. I would go in and always see her and I knew one day I wouldn't hold back by the way she treated her staff. After having dinner at the shopping center we decided to stop by this Homegoods. I had never been to a Homegoods so I didn't know what to really expect. Now this Homegoods had some pretty awesome stuff. We needed up buying a picture frame, journal, snacks, and wall art all for under $50. We went in looking for a picture frame and came with so many other items. It's also a great place to buy gifts, household items, decor, food or snacks, and even things that will help you get organized. This store was well maintained for a discount store. I didn't find any employee on the sales floor. The gentleman at the register was friendly and courteous. This store is located in a shopping center so it shouldn't be too difficult to find parking. For a guy like me that is not a fan of shopping, Homegoods is a perfect solution to those days I'm in need of buying a present or just something for the house. Homegoods has a pretty wide selection of just about anything and everything you will need for your home. There's just enough variety in any given item to where it doesn't overwhelm you, but allows you to have options. The prices are definitely less than what you'd find at a major retailer or department store. I've purchased many items here where I've done my research and Homegoods was always significantly cheaper than anywhere else. I've purchased All-Clad pans regularly in the $150-$200 price range for a frying pan, yet at Homegoods I paid $70-$80 for the same pans. I also scored on some Towle silverware (18/10 Stainless) paid $35 whereas everywhere (even online) same set was $70 for 20pc set. Inventory will vary from time to time, but if you're on a mission and you're searching for something specific, be patient and more than likely they will eventually have it, or you can check other locations and they may have what you're looking for. Homegoods is perfect for the person who doesn't want to deal with the malls or large department stores, and the high prices that come with those places. My experience has always been pleasant, even when it's a bit crowded, it's still not overwhelming. The parking at this location is always good, the employees are always helpful. 8/7/21 Was at Homegoods on El Toro today. Cause its my favorite store. The BAD thing is they need someone to CLEAN THE WOMEN'S RESTROOM more often during the day. I went to use it and it looks like someone got sick and threw up on the floor in the handicap stall. And there were NO Seat Covers in the other stall. When I exit the restroom I went to the front desk and spoke to the manager that the women's restroom needs cleaning. I went in again later to just wash my hands and all they did was put a plastic yellow warning sign in the stall. Why can't any of their employees just clean it?????? The rest of the store is so pretty and nice, but why can't they keep a nice restroom clean with a nice Air Freshener and clean for us shoppers. read more

*does a happy dance* I am STILL super excited about the great deals I got at HomeGoods on Saturday! WOW! For small household items and necessities, this place is great!! I topped up our supply of kitchenware and bought some things like milk/sugar holders for a tea party; a new colander; and some mixing bowls. In terms of housewares, I bought some new bathroom supplies in brushed steel. My favorite purchase was this absolutely wonderful soft blanket!! Even just thinking about it makes me want to curl up with a smile. I've always found this HomeGoods very tidy and easy to navigate. It's not a huge disarray like some other, similar branded stores. The staff is always usually pretty friendly and helpful here. Great deals + friendly staff = great shopping experience! read more

Homegoods is alway hit or miss for me. Sometimes you find just what you're looking for and other times you completely strike out. However, when you do find that diamond in the rough, the price is always just right. I also wish employees were more readily available. They seem to always be behind the register. I used to shop at homegoods quite often until now. My daughter went to buy a frame there yesterday with my wife and when she got home she noticed that the corner was broken. Today my wife and I decided to return it for her. The moment the cashier saw that it was a return she started eyeing us suspiciously. We explained what happened and her response was, "You bought it broken, or you broke it at home?" Patiently, we explained it again while she looked at it and then informed us that it had no tag so we couldn't return it. So the lesson in customer service for today is: don't lose a customer for a $6 frame. We will never shop there again. Can you imagine if it was a more expensive item? "Did it break the first time you used the couch? Tough, it doesn't have a tag." No thanks. I'm glad the lesson only cost me $6. I do not recommend you take a chance on anything there. read more

This is one of those "must shop in" stores at Christmas just because you find all sorts of odd nicknacks... You can buy your coffee here on a weekly basis far cheaper than the grocery store or starbucks so something to think about. They also have really high quality olive oil for about a third cheaper than the grocery store or costco. read more

A good location. And parking is pretty easily even at the busiest times if you are willing to walk just a bit. I do find that the stock is becoming predictable, whereas I used to go in here to find new and unexpected things which I knew were not likely to come back in stock again. I heart TJ'S Maxx and Homegoods and this location is on home furnishing steroids! This location does not carry clothing, jewelry or anything other than home goods such as decorative items, rugs, lamps, tables, everything for the bathroom, kitchen, bedroom and any other room you can think of! This is not a place you want to stop by after wine tasting feeling the warm, fuzzy and oh, I want to redecorate feeling. Great buys to be had here. However, check the items you want to purchase carefully before purchasing for damage. Customers tend not to place items back carefully and possibly causing damage and you don't want to pay for that! Walked out with two nice rugs, African candles, wooden bowls and a huge basket at a fraction of the cost any where else! Yes, I have the thrift gene. read more

This store is right off the 5 freeway in a large shopping center, with plenty of convenient parking spaces. I absolutely love this place. Our home is fully decorated with goods from this store. Everything that they carry is so affordable and unique. I do agree with other yelpers that have compared Homegoods with the flea market, they are RIGHT. You have to spend the time and look, but if you do that time will be well spent. You will indeed find anything and everything you are looking for since their inventory not only carrier home decor but also gym gear and produce, such as coffee, chocolate and other non perishable goods. My only issue is that they usually bring only duplicated of a certain product, and trust me they go fast. So if you see something you like, make sure to buy it, because when you go back it will not be there. TRUST ME. This has happened to me before! Not the best Homegoods I've been to. I think this location is too small and they cram in a lot. Yes most of the Homegoods seem to have a lot crammed in but this one is just not laid out in a customer friendly fashion. The flow is slightly off to me. they have alot of home goods at a very good price. i just bought a laundry basket for $24.99, a set of bathroom mat for $19.99, and faberware can opener for $5.99. the materials for the laundry basket and bathroom mat are good and i like them. they also have all pans, kitchen utensils, living room accessories, and everything you ever need to decorate your home. make sure to check your goods before you buy them. some of them are not in a good condition, have some scratch, and may even broken. crowded and parking could be a bit of a pain during busy hours... read more

I usually like HomeGoods-type of stores. Bargain-hunting is fun for me. I've been looking near and far for something I wanted to get my mother for Christmas. I knew exactly what I wanted to get her and I was SURE this place would have it. When I went there, I was a little flustered. Nothing was in its place. And what I was looking for was no where to be found. I quickly looked for a sales associate. The sales associate I came across was a young man and he was talking to another sales associate, a young woman. Actually, talking is an understatement. I felt like I was intruding on some kind of mating ritual where the male tries to attract the female, while the female blushes and acts breezy. But, that didn't bother me as much as them basically IGNORING I was standing there watching this show they put on.. It took them a solid 2 minutes to even acknowledge my presence. And when the male associate finally asked me if he could help me, I felt like I was talking in a different language. In the most elaborate, gesticular way, I described the item I was looking for. The response I get? A weird look and "We ran out of those." YOU RAN OUT? Are you SURE...? You're not even going to try and check? So unhelpful. He just stood there. Didn't bother to ask another associate or even walk to the area where it was supposed to be and check. After he told me that, I was like "Ok..." and decided to explore the store on my own. And good thing I did.. I FOUND EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. SIX OF THEM. -____________- Def unhappy with the service I got there.. The associates couldn't have been any worse. I am soooo in love with this place. I have been coming here for years! They have the cutest things for such a low price! I preer going here rather than Ross, Marshalls, etc. because I find their stuff and store in a much better condition. I still go to the other stores cuz they have good items here and there but HomeGoods always seems to have goo stuff. I don't think there has been a time that I didn't go in without leaving with something. I just wish I had a home instead of an apartment cuz I am keeping so much stuff in my "future home" stash. The workers are hit or miss. Sometimes they're very helpful and come up to me first without me asking and sometimes you can't find anyone when you need them or they ignore you. They never really know what they will get shipped in or how quick it will sell so frequent trips to this store will yield the best finds in the best condition. The problem with "jumble sale" stores is that things get, well, jumbled! It is pretty rare that you'll find an item without any quirk or imperfection here but the discounted price is a reflection of this reality so it doesn't bother me too much and if something is just too roughed up, I pass! I bought many of my wedding decor items here and I was very happy with the quality. I bought apothecary jars for my candy bar, a unique British phone box cabinet for my cards, a few sailboats for random decor, and numerous seashell-clad decor items like frames, lanterns, loose shells, etc. I also love HomeGoods for things I didn't realize I needed... oftentimes I'll find myself just heading in to browse and see what pretty little things they have in the home decor and the kitchen section. Each section also has their own Clearance section where things are even more imperfect and thus further discounted but if you're handy or not too fussy, you'll feel like you hit the jackpot! All in all, I love this store for unique pieces and home decor. Prices are good, quality is similar and they get new shipments weekly so head on in for a little browse and I'm sure you'll find something that catches your eye! read more

I was deeply disappointed by this home goods. I can't believe how rude the staff member and the managers are. During my check out I was greeted shortly and when asking a question I was startled by the associate rolling her eyes at me. Her manager wasn't any better. She kept telling me that I should leave her store if I don't agree with them. I bought an item and was not even asked if I wanted a bag. NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS HOMEGOODS!!! Be aware if you have children you will be mistreated, I was 10 minutes in this store, my kids found a toy that did a funny noise and laugh and talk about it, the sales associate and a customer were making discusting faces tours my kids, I go to the register and pay and a customer tells me, are those your kids, and I say yes and she says you should educate your kids they are so loud, and i rased my voice and say you are nobody to como to me and tell me how to educate my kids and I told her, if you dont like people talking dont come to public places and stay home so the sales associate tell me to be quiet and tells me to leave the store and starts making a fight with my 8 year old and talking bad about me with other customers her name is Vicky Dark and I will call headquaters. I love going into this place. It's like going into a flea market that sells new things. All sorts of stuff to buy for the home from kitchen, bed, pet, and everything else for the home. Sorry for you home electronics kinda people, this is more of a home decor discount store. My wife and I just bought a home and have been shopping for like a huge rug, and we found one for $399, originally goes for $800. For a rug of this magnitude, they can go upwards to a $1000 sometimes, so I told my wife to get it. We get a lot of our kitchen stuff and bedding. Check them out! They're great! read more

Rather surprised by the higher reviews of this crap-fest. It is chocked full of crap you don't need and the prices are honestly not that good. The gourmet food items they offer to help cook with or give as a yummy gift are very questionable as to freshness. It reminded me of Big Lots, with slightly better items and the same or higher prices. The clearance aisle and section should have been priced like a garage sale. Anyhing in there was either completely worthless, ugly or broken and unuseable. Had I wanted to purchase anything, which I didn't, the line was literally almost to the back of the store. Had a horrible experience. A person by the name of Patrick was so disrespectful and rude. I walked out of the store crying. The store does have a better selection than the store in San Clemente area and I'm in the middle of furnishing our home. This person is high strung, in the middle of our conversation he was smashing the telephone dials like they hurt him or something. Hostile personality! Made me very sad that I got treated with such disrespect. I came in with no receipt and he gave me the third degree even after looking at my official government I.D he questioned my address (I had just explained we had just done a move to California). Also my ID is the Real ID. Flying with a REAL ID 54 SecondsBeginning October 1, 2020, every air traveler 18 years of age and older will need a REAL ID) It seems like this area gets lots of theft or crime because the Ulta two doors down had security. I wasn't rude, I explained that I had just gone to marshals and for some reason the emails weren't going through to my email account (they have both emails and print receipt capability). I was exchanging a purchase I had made a few days before, he accused me of trying to get a two dollar different from a laundry bag (really?) it seemed very intentional. When I initially came in he was screaming across the store saying ( I keep finding broken items) he was sweating up a storm. I'm not sure if it's a medical condition because I got a bit concerned initially. It was horrible! I ended up loving what I purchased after the store manager came to finish my transaction and I explained to her the situation. It was disheartening to experience something like this, I felt very discriminated against. I had to take out my phone and record because I was so fearful to his reaction. I was driving home from SD and needed some kitchen items. I went to all the homegoods in LA and this location had so much more to choose from. I was able to find an olive oil holder for $4 and a stainless steel cuisinart can opener ($13). The place was clean and was pretty easy to find things, however, when it comes to bedsheets, good luck finding stuff for a full bed. I've never been to a Homegoods store before, so I was curious and decided to stop by and browse. There seems to be lots of stuff for the home, organized, and a bit better than Marshalls. I found some children's hangars and the thin hangars. I pretty much have most of the "home goods" I want and use, so there's really not much for me to want to spend money on. I don't constantly redecorate (I consider that wasteful expense). But if anything breaks and i need a substitute, I'll be by. read more
