Truth be told, I have a slight obsession with this store. Homegoods all together if we are being honest. Sure things can be a bit of a mess and I hate that customers open up things, separate them and then I end up searching and searching to find the matching pair, but i enjoy it nonetheless. My first experience here was terrible. However, I love Home Goods so I came back. I am definitely glad I did. Every staff member I've encountered since has been amazing and extremely helpful. The store is always clean and nicely organized, which makes things easy to find. The selection is fantastic, especially the pillows and kitchen items. Horrible customer service. Especially Manger Lydia. Amazing during this busy season and a season of giving Lydia would have no empathy for customers. I did not ask for anything while in the store but called to inform her of something that should have been addressed by an employee when checking out and she just said "okay" like it was no big deal. All I heard over the speaker while walking through the store was this is a time for giving and sharing and helping one another out. Yet, when it comes to this store... they are just wanting money and making sales no matter what condition something is in. Again I paid full price for something that was broken (in which I will fix) and very obvious yet the employee did not bring it to my attention or ask if they could find another one or even give me a discount. And in no way would I ask. Will be visiting other home good stores in which they would at least say sorry and take what I said in consideration for future costumers. read more

She told us where to park , helped put it in our car and made us feel so at home and laughed the entire time! We just love her!!! A very clean store. Staff is hard to find but when you do find them, they are nice if not always helpful. Great selection of holiday and seasonal decor. Better prices and selection than the Pier One store nearby. read more

Nice selection of home decor and home products. For the most part, the store is clean and organized. Prices are fair. Some things are bargains but some are over-priced. Checkout line can be crazy long at times but I usually browse the store for 15 minutes and usually find no line after that. A big turn-off for me was the employee (manager?) who randomly started complaining to me about the company and how much he hated is job. Very unprofessional! read more

I love this store! There are sooo many great deals here. It's a relatively big store but it does have a cramped up feel to it due to lots of items just randomly being placed in the store. Personally, I don't mind but this may be a little annoying for some folks. I see it as partaking in a little treasure hunt. I've been able to find awesome items at awesome prices. read more

Store is awesome. Went in looking just for a new chair, didn't find the exact chair we were looking for on our budget. Told myself prior to walking in that I was only going to look at the chairs. but ended up walking around the entire store afterwards saying aahhhh and oooohhhh with all the cool items they have from bedding, chairs, mirrors, candles, easter decorations etc. Staff is very friendly. All my wall art is from here. It's really the only place that has stuff that no one else is carrying at much cheaper prices. The store can be intimidating with all the stuff they carry, and people trying to maneuver the isles with shopping carts. Patience is a must. read more

I'm so disappointed in their customer service. I called at 2:20pm and asked them if they had a certain dresser in store. The sales associate, Maha (I'm spelling the name according to pronunciation), said they had it and was only willing to hold it for 2 hours. I asked them if they can hold it longer since I lived in Yorba Linda and wasn't sure if I can make it in time. They said no. This is unusual since other stores I go to are always willing to hold items for me until end of day, but I didn't argue since each store might be different. I asked to pay for it over the phone. They said no. I sent my mom from Yorba Linda to Lake Forest to buy the dresser for me. She gets there around 4:30pm. A sales associate can't find the dresser after asking all the other sales associate if they had a dresser on hold. Nobody acknowledges talking to me or holding a dresser. I finally get on the phone with the sales associate helping my mom and told her that I spoke with Maha. After going to talking to Maha again, she comes back and said Maha sold the dresser already. Really?! So 1) she lied about talking to me and putting the dresser on hold, and 2) my mom basically wasted her time driving there from Yorba Linda to get a dresser that wasn't even on hold for me when it was supposed to be. Very professional. Will not go to this store again. read more

Such a bad experience!!! I am a homegoods shopper...I usually frequent a homegoods location every other week but I will NEVER go back to this location. I was attempting to return an item and have never been treated so rudely by the store manager! She refused to return the item and suggested I drive it back to the original location of purchase which was 45 minutes away round trip! She refused to call the original location to help clear up the mess. I couldn't believe the store manager would even treat her customers that way. Shame on her. read more

Like everyone else has said- love Homegoods, but this particular store has horrible customer service. Particularly the female manager and female shift lead or whatever her title is. They are both extremely rude and it's like you are inconveniencing them by just being there. If I can avoid going to that store, I will, just based on the lack of customer service from those two. read more

I really enjoy shopping at all their stores in various locations, but watch out if you need to ask someone for help. I actually had asked this woman putting price tags on items, 8 times to help me. She totally looked at me and didn't respond, the last few times she just turned her back! This is a great place for hidden gems. If you are looking for goodies at sale style pricing, but not Ross/Marshalls quality items this is your place! You will find things in the store in some areas to be completely scattered like Ross, and in other areas completely organized like a department store. I was impressed particularly with the art, mirrors, lighting, and bathroom areas in both quality and quantity. Came in here and got a HUGE mirror for $100.00. Yes you read it right, $100.00. I had been hunting for a large (quality) mirror every where. I was going to end up paying 2x the price at Pier One for the mirror I had been eye balling, but this sold me right away. This is located in the popular and recently revamped "The Arbors" Shopping center close to Pier One. read more

It is a pretty organized well run Home Goods Store. The layout vs other Home Goods Stores in the OC area is pretty shoppable.

I cannot believe some other enterprise hasn't copied Home Goods yet. It's the best place I've found when I want to redecorate. I used to run all over south Orange County trying to find the accessories I wanted. Now I mostly just go to Home Goods a couple of times a week. Sooner or later I find just the right thing. They put new items out daily it seems. Ross, Marshall's, TJ Maxx, Tuesday Morning, Stein Mart are all good options as well. But none of them have the vast home-goods selection that Home Goods does! But I sure would like to see another chain copy them for an even great selection! (Investors/ entrepreneurs, are you listening?) read more

Yesterday I had a wonderful experience with one of the young ladies that was working. When I needed help with finding an item in the store she was more than glad to help me, her name is Leslie. Such a nice young lady. I wish most of the retail stores had more smart, helpful men and women working for them just like Leslie, it sure would be a better world to shop in! I'll be returning to Homegoods again and I'll try to make in to the store when Leslie is there. My own grand kids could use a few tips from her. lol read more

I am laughing at all the reviews bashing the service and the bad cluster of "knick -knacks" this store has to offer. If you want five star service and over priced items you should shop at Sacks, Bloomingdales, and Nordstroms. Do you expect cloth napkins at Mc Donalds too? Home Goods is an awesome store, where you can find just what you're looking for when no one else has it. Remember, it is not a five star store, so don't be lazy, look for yourself and enjoy paying ten times less for that same item that's in the fancy place with a beautiful, all knowing staff, that puts the red carpet out just for you. I have never had an issue with any staff member and have always found just what I was looking for at just the right price. As far as returns, I have been treated fairly with a smile. It's worth the trip. I love it! read more
