I have had Home Shield pest control service for almost 2 years. They never fail to amaze me in the fantastic customer service that they provide. I have a problem with rats in my garage. They caught the rat and also continue to monitor the situation for me. They do a quarterly Bug service for my outside and inside if needed. I rarely see a spider at my property. Hurvey was my technician and I would like to give him a five star review for his quality and professionalism, and "service with a smile attitude "that he provided at my home today and over the last year. Most recently, I had a problem with a gopher in my front lawn. Dave arrived the same afternoon the day I called for help, Monday, with the problem. He put in 2 traps and by Tuesday morning we had caught the gopher! He was here today, Wednesday afternoon to remove it. I would also like to give Dave a five star review for his excellent advice and customer service. It was a pleasure working with these two gentlemen and also Home Shield ! On Thursday, September 14th, we used HomeShield for both an interior/exterior home pest inspection as well as interior/exterior pest treatment. David Norris contacted us first in the morning with an estimated time of arrival. This was within the estimated time that our appointment was scheduled. He arrived shortly after and explained what our service entailed and what treatment he was going to do. He also explained how the treatment would work for the immediate weeks and how future treatments should be scheduled. The treatment included both the interior of our home as well as the outside of the building and small backyard. He was very professional and his knowledge and explanations to us were very much appreciated. Later this same morning. Francisco Lopez contacted us with his estimated time of arrival, which worked out perfectly for our day of other scheduled appointments. His scheduled appointment was for the home pest inspection. Francisco also explained what and which areas he would be inspecting. he was courteous and professional during his time in our home. I called Homeshield to address the high volume of ants we've been having all over the house. We had the pleasure of working with Hurvey, who was extremely professional and very friendly! His energy and passion for the job showed through his execution. I showed him all the areas of concern, and he went above and beyond to address the areas with the treatment as well as doing an outstanding job getting the spider webs all over the exterior of the house. He was very efficient, detail oriented, and left no stone unturned. He wouldn't stop until all the visible webs were gone! The sun started to go down, but that didn't stop him - he used a flashlight to help him see around the house and finish off the job properly. I have used these guys for years. Some of the technicians are awesome and others fall short. I've been paying quarterly, $109 each service ($436/ yearly). The customer service was top notch..........UNTIL Iast week where I received a letter informing me I would be paying $45 a month ($540/yearly) from now on. The letter had NO contact information to get back to. I called the home office and was told I would get a call back. I waited 3 days, nothing. I called again and asked the representative to explain and she said there was a price change but could not tell me what the new charge was. I decided to cancel and was told I need to talk to a supervisor for this, but there was no supervisors available!! I tried the next day and was accidentally hung up on. I'm still waiting today.... I finally took all autopayments off my account and called my credit card co to remove the first charge of $45. Bummer read more
