I wish I could give this store zero stars. I recently purchased a refrigerator from them, and it has been nothing short of a nightmare. The water dispenser only puts out warm water from the start. When I asked the sales rep about this, she told me it would take some time for the water to get cold and to give it three weeks. I did--nothing changed. When I called her back, she said to give it one more week. Still, no improvement. Unfortunately, due to some personal issues, I couldn't follow up right away. Now, the refrigerator is even worse--water is no longer dispensing at all, and it's leaking everywhere. I've called multiple times, leaving messages for the rep, but I never getting a callback. I then reach out to the customer service number, & they tell me someone will call to schedule a technician, but that call never comes. It's been nearly a month, and multiple phone calls to the customer service line and the issue still isn't resolved. I originally chose airport appliance because they touted excellent customer service--well, that's a joke. I should have known better when the sales rep who sold me the refrigerator was rude and far from the helpful demeanor you'd expect from someone in her position. The rep that I originally met in Hayward when I first initially was shopping was a lot nicer and I wish I had bought from him, but now doesn't matter because their whole company seems to not care. I'm beyond frustrated and fed up with this entire experience. Avoid this place at all costs unless you enjoy being ignored and dealing with faulty appliances. **Final Verdict: Terrible customer service and even worse follow-up. More days have passed, no service no working refrigerator. Airport Appliance offered to "rent us a loaner frig" what an insult to injury! Can't get a repair person but will rent a loaner?! Today's repair appointment was cancelled again and now scheduled out 2 weeks. We have been dealing with cancelled appointments since January 28th. Went to store again today begging for help to get repair the manager basically laughed at the situation. Handed the manager a formal demand letter to fix repair replacement or reimbursement and she took it like no big deal, she must be use to getting them from customers. Unbelievable situation! A 4 yr top of line refrigerator now I have No refrigerator No freezer No ice maker and an extended warranty that doesn't fulfill and NO support from Airport Appliance. Such poor customer service! Airport Appliance and the warranty can not be trusted!!!!!!! -0 would be my experience another week has come and gone 1 lie after another, warranty company hasn't shown for past 2 repair appointments so I still have no freezer that works, no ice maker and a refrigerator compressor runs 24x7 so loud you can hear it throughout the house. Unreliable and untrustworthy business. Overcharges and doesn't deliver probably and then when the goods that arrive damaged, not what was agreed, creates a hassle and offers repair instead of exchange and argues with the customer. My wife and I remodeled our home six years ago. We purchased the top of the line KitchenAid KRMF706ESS refrigerator. Six years later everything started happening. First one of the interior lights went out. $$ Then the drain line was clogged, water leaking onto our hardwood floors. $$$ Next the freezer section thawed out and ice melted from the top ice maker onto the hardwood floor. $$$ Finally everything died. The control panel needed to be replaced!!! $$$$ A Lemon!!!! No more $$$$ spent on this KitchenAid!!! Luckily we had a small refrigerator and freezer in the garage that we purchased from the remodel. Luckily, all of the food would not be ruined! We went to a few different appliances stores in the Bay Area. Finally, we visited Airport Appliance in Dublin. Our first impression. Nice showroom. Lots of products to peruse. Then a gentleman approached and said "I am Dharmen Naik, welcome to Airport Appliance". We told him about our wonderful luck with our KitchenAid, to which he said "He has not in all of his twenty-three years of selling appliances heard of that many problems with our model KitchenAid". Dharmen, showed us all of the refrigerators that would suit our desires. He patiently pointed out the pros and cons of each product we liked. Our kitchen was remodeled with the dimensions to fit our KitchenAid so our first choice the Bosch 800 series would not fit in the enclosure, unless we had a cabinet maker pull out the top cabinets above. We had only two choices. Another KitchenAid KRMF706ESS or the GE Café and/or Profile. Dharmen told us about the differences in the KitchenAid and GE door sizes and that we should measure the enclosure to make sure the GE would fit. So, we were unable to purchase then. I went home and took photos of the enclosure and surrounding area that Dharmen requested and then texted all the pertinent information to Dharmen. For the two hours we texted back and forth making sure that the GE Café would fit. Yes, was the final answer. After two days the atmospheric rain stopped. We returned to Airport Appliance and finalized the deal. Dharmen painstakingly took care of all of the paperwork and set up a date for the delivery. Now, this is where the was some frustration. On the day of the delivery and installation, William the installer, and his crew informed me that my copper water valve for the icemaker was not up to code and they could not guarantee it would not leak. Needless to say, We could not have the refrigerator installed. I had William and his crew remove the old unit, take it with them, and put the GE Café in our garage until I either had the water valve realigned or buy a longer braided icemaker line. I called Dharmen the next day and told him of the situation. He told me "Two years ago the code was changed Airport Appliance had to indoctrinate this into their deliveries". Dharmen then rescheduled my delivery for the following day. Ellias and Roberto: installers, came the next day to install the GE Café. This time I was prepared. Ellias and Roberto installed the unit perfectly. They made sure everything was leak proof, all features working and then gave us a small dos and don't about the GE Café. Excellent work gentlemen! They are pros!! Now, being that I had been in the sales and service business for over thirty years, I know good and bad salespeople and service people. Dharmen Naik is a real professional. He is not pushy, arrogant, egomaniacal, or trying to make a sale instead of the accommodating the desires of his clients. On a scale of one to ten, Dharmen is a seventeen, and deserves, greatly appreciated excellent recognition. We are very happy with or new GE Café and if the occasion arises, we would not hesitate purchasing from Dharmen and Airport Appliance again. read more

We waited a weekend and when the technician came , it was a senior technician and stated that whom they sent earlier was basically an idiot. Really impressed by my sales person Andre! I was shopping for a particular dishwasher. One I had purchased from another store didn't work after installation. Knowing the upgraded one was much more expensive, he told me the one I should get would be the next one up, but was selling it for the same price that I paid for the lower model. I said I would be right there the next day, but overnight the price jumped much higher, but he honored the price that he quoted with manager approval and I received it on time and installed it. I have received excellent service at this location with Lucinda Trombalay. She helped me pick each and every appliance I needed listening to my needs. If she didn't have on display the item she told me to search online and let her know and she could find it for me. I had gone to Lowes before coming to her but, they were selling me only one brand of LG because their rep was there. I wanted the best of each appliance (Bosch, KitchenAid,etc) She is very personable and thorough. I got the best prices and told about rebates too. Getting appliances can be stressful like looking for counter depth fridge with a zero door range ( don't remember what it is called) but she understoof. I didn't have to look at each one and waste my time, she showed me exactly which ones were like that. I came back to her with my microwave info from lowes and trimkit. She got it all in one order and i purchased every single thing i needed. Six items. A couple of weeks later i just called her and told her i decided to replace my garage freezer. Did the whole tranaction on the phone, she found a better size, and i purchased over the phone. She is very good at what she does, very friendly and professional. REVIEW FOR DELIVERY/CUSTOMER SERVICE First off, the showroom, selection and salesman were great. It ends there. Bought a fridge on a Sunday. Delivery was set for Tuesday. You aren't given a time frame for delivery until 7pm the day before which was frustrating. Delivery window was about 5 hours. Guys showed up and refused to install the fridge due to an old shut off valve. I completely understood their policy, based on the fact that if they damaged the valve there could be liability issues for water damage. I was told I would be rescheduled. Fixed the valve that night and called the following morning. Was given the run around but told I was going to be scheduled on Friday, but they could not give me a time frame. I also called the delivery number and they told me they had no information and could not help me. Instead they told me to talk to the salesman. I went to the store the following day (Weds) only to find out they closed an hour early (day before Thanksgiving). Went to the store again Friday morning. Guy at the desk told me no one other than my salesman could help me. I assumed he had the same computer system as everyone else but nonetheless he wouldn't help me. I finally spoke with my salesman who tried to help me. He told me that my delivery was not Friday, but Saturday. At this point it would be my 3rd say of clearing my schedule for delivery. Still, despite speaking with the salesman I was not given a delivery window. I waited until 7 that night and was given a delivery window. About 1PM on Saturday, fridge arrives again. The delivery guy checked the valve and made measurements to bring the fridge in. A few minutes later he informed me there was a problem. The seal on the inside of the fridge door was completely broken and falling off. He asked me if I still wanted the fridge !! I told him I did not want the fridge and he left. A short while later, I received a phone call from the delivery service who offered me a 10% discount for the broken fridge. Obviously pointless for a $2200 fridge. I went back to the store on Saturday (6 days after purchase) and told my salesman I wanted to cancel everything. He understood and I was refunded. Bought a fridge from Lowes. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Fridge was delivered with no problems. I'm sure people have had better experiences than mine, but this was by far the worst delivery purchase I have ever made. read more

I bought a brand new washer and dryer on December 2022, and told the salesman, Calvin, to please include all parts, installation, and haul away. I paid around 2,500 for a GE stacked washer and dryer. My warranty ended 2023 December and by March 2024 the washer started leaking and has a broken part. I called the Dublin office and the person told me they would have the technician call and set up an appointment in 24-48 hours, nobody called the whole week. I called back and was told that they don't have a record of the phone call and that they cannot help me since my warranty is 2 months removed. I paid for my own technician who came and opened up the washer. He opened up the bottom (never opened before) and found a coin sized a whole on the bottom of the outer tub. He told me they sold me a defective machine as this couldn't have been done by me. The inner tub was completely in tact. He believes they put tape or puddy on it that came off causing the leak. read more

Cross your fingers that the appliance delivered actually works. Purchased a stove in early September. Did not function properly on delivery. Notified our sales person within 48 hours as stated in the return policy. Still dealing with trying to return or exchange the stove two months later. They sent a repair person initially, after three failed visits they could not fix it. After multiple visits to the Dublin location and several discussions with the store manager Juliane, with promises to exchange for a working stove, still no progress. Haven't heard back from the manager for a week now. Had to resort to disputing the charge with my credit card company. Good luck to those with issues once an appliance is purchased! *edit* Wish I read some of the reviews here before purchasing from Airport Appliance. I heard on Nextdoor that this place was sketchy but the people on Nextdoor didn't have the good experience my wife had buying a new dishwasher. My wife worked with Juan Munoz and he was very well versed on helping my wife get the dishwasher she wanted. He knew all the key features of the various brands and their strengths and weaknesses. She ended up with a Bosch dishwasher and she was happy with the price here. They responded timely for installation and removal of the old dishwasher. Husband and I needed a new fridge after putting it off for months. We had looked at Best Buy and Lowes, but no one was ever really able to help us with questions and it was overwhelming. A few friends told us to check out Airport Appliance in Dublin and I'm SO glad we did. We went on a Thursday afternoon and there were other customers there, but it was not packed which was very nice. We were greeted by DeJon and told him what we were looking for. I did not want to spend a fortune and there were plenty of options to look at. He explained different features for several brands of fridges. He did not pressure us in anything and dealt with my indecisiveness :) Our fridge has not been delivered yet as there was a 6 week LT, so I can't comment on the delivery process. But the in store experience was great! Update 6/12 Received our new Samsung fridge last week. Delivery was incredibly smooth. Liked that I was notified the day before and was texted updates about the delivery time. Fridge was set up quickly and love that the delivery team was able to take my old fridge for disposal. Fridge broke down, desperate for a new fridge right away, we came here. I will start with the staff and quality of service directly from Airport Appliance has been excellent. We selected a fridge on Monday and it was delivered Wednesday morning. The only one complaint I have is the delivery service. It wasn't pleasant. You'll read other yelp reviews that the delivery people and experience isn't the best. I didn't know this beforehand and only learned about it after my own terrible experience. To avoid this, please make sure you inform Airport Appliance in advance how many stairs involved at delivery site, how convenient parking is. etc...anything you can think of even if it's minor, let them know so they can convey to the delivery folks. Going back to Airport Appliance, their prices are better than some other places for sure and they had a wide selection. Despite our bad delivery experience, Airport Appliance followed up to make things right and resolved all my issues. For this and their actions, I give them 10 out of 10 because this is proof that they go above and beyond to take care of their customer. Our sales person Ernest was very professional, friendly and offered his honest opinion on the products I had questions on. I never felt any pressure on making a purchase or felt geared towards more expensive items. After our not so good delivery experience, Ernest and Brian followed up several times to correct the issues and made sure everything was good. Exceptional service! read more

So when it came time to install there was damage to the front which we originally didn't see. Asked for help and it got resolved. So happy and the item was absolutely restored to perfection. I would avoid this place. Besides being a bit misled on the dishwasher we purchased, the installer was horrible. They were late, rushed through the job so quickly and left our pull out garbage cabinet so that I wouldn't close. Fortunately I noticed it and my husband ran outside and caught them before they left. But the real annoyance is that the very next morning I noticed a plastic arm on the bottom rack of the dishwasher and had no idea what it was for. My husband called the installer and they said they didn't know what it was and couldn't come back out because of they did they might break something and would have to buy us a new dishwasher. SERIOUSLY? They advised us to call Miele. Miele isn't open on Saturdays so they expected us to be without a properly installed dishwasher that THEY installed? My husband finally figured it out but if there is a problem with this dishwasher, I'm going to be pissed. We are beyond annoyed. I would NEVER do business with Airport Appliance again. These are the kind of installations they do? Installers are representing the business, so please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

My husband and I wanted to help our daughter purchase appliances for her home. We live in NV and she of course lives in the Bay Area. I contacted several appliance stores to get prices on the appliances she wanted. Airport had the best prices and free delivery. So, I started the purchase for her over the phone with Sami. I was concerned that I would have to make a trip to the Bay Area to complete the purchase, but it turned out that I was able to do the entire purchase over the phone with a couple of email to provide needed documents. Sami was also able to provide 18 month interest free on our purchase. I have to say he made the entire purchase process seamless and painless. I am very grateful to him for his timely communication and clarity of the process. If and when I need to purchase any other appliances I will definitely be using Sami at Airport Home Appliance. I must admit... after a less than stellar experience with Airport Appliance regarding a new oven (long story, but we went the entire holiday season in 2020 without a working oven despite having just purchased a new GE Cafe from these guys), when our washing machine went on the fritz, we had a great experience with Adam Cambra last month. He was super knowledgeable about washers and dryers, answered all of our questions and guided us to making the right purchasing decision which ended up being being the new duo of the GE Ultrafresh Vent System. Unfortunately, due to Covid delays, only the washer was in stock, with the dryer and pedestals on back order. This isn't a fault of Airport Appliance--and is just representative of the retail industry as a whole right now. Luckily, Adam was able to deliver the washer two days from our order. And he ended up calling us a few weeks later asking if we could take delivery of the rest of the order (dryer plus pedestals) which had just become available. I liked the fact he was monitoring the situation and called proactively. Ironically, when the delivery guys showed up to install the new dryer, we discovered that our old 18-year old gas hookup was the wrong size! So we had to delay install by about a week in order to get the right 1/2 inch hookup installed. There was a further delay when the install guys found a dent in the model they had delivered. Airport Appliance offered 10% off to keep the dented unit but we ultimately waited a few days for a replacement unit which looked perfect. All in all, we love our new washer and dryer. It has features we weren't even aware were available, including Steam option, it looks great, and is loads more efficient (pun intended) than the set we replaced. So, thanks Adam! read more
