What a vegetarian's delight! (I'm trying to eat less meat these days). I love the go-through-the-line and choose your base and toppings approach. Or you can always choose from one of their suggested bowls. The cashew lime crema dressing was yummy and went perfect with my veggies. Everything in the bins looked fresh and tasty, and it was hard to limit myself to just 3 items in each section! (You can always add additional items for an extra charge). My customized "Dear Quinoa" bowl really hit the spot, cost a fair price and was enough for me to have leftovers. I really love this concept and can't wait to try more combinations! Their atmosphere is quite nice. Their menu contains a mix of build your own bowls or their premade items. I tried their poke bowl which wasn't exactly what I imagined I'd be getting. For $11, one small scoop of sesame seasoned ahi tuna, some brown rice, edamame and some cabbage with diced jalapeños and avocado. Nothing special, quite bland except for the tuna. My boyfriend built his own bowl with chicken and some sweet potatoes and goat cheese. We both agreed that it wasn't anything that we could of made at home. Honestly I prefer Flowerchild. It's so delicious every time & the service is always very fast. Honestly, I can see the fast casual and healthy appeal of Honest Mary's. I decided to create my own bowl (tofu, forbidden rice, spinach & arugula, portobello mushrooms, Asian slaw, avocado, and tahini dressing). The combination was tasty, but I felt the sauce overpowered the ingredients. If you don't like you're bowls really saucy, I recommend putting sauce/dressing on the side. Although, I feel they can be stingy with the toppings. $1 for extra can be overkill depending on the ingredient. It's part of a strip mall, so park to your heart's desire in the shared parking lot. If Local Foods opened a poke bowl business, this is what it would be like. The place is bright and crisp and I just feel healthy by breathing in there. I was a little skeptical on how the food would taste because the ingredients looked SO healthy. I love healthy food but this looked almost too healthy. But I was pleasantly surprised that the flavors meshed well together. I also got the cilantro sauce on side and it made each bite so flavorful. Sedona Lime Bowl (4.5/5) I replaced half of the rice with quinoa. I don't know if this ended up being more rice than normal but I was so full after eating about 2/3 of it that I couldn't finish my bowl. My friend got the build your own bowl and he said that the mushroom was super fresh. I also saw that they get their ingredients locally and I love that! This place is an Instagrammers paradise with its aesthetically pleasing decor and bowls. I came in specifically to try the poke bowl and it did not disappoint. It's a build a bowl kinda place where you can choose your greens, proteins and sauces. Two bowls and 2 drinks came out to $30. I am always looking for keto friendly places where I can sub grains for greens and Honest Mary's gives you that option. I ordered the Aloha Poke bowl and subbed the rice for arugula and microgreens. As a first time customer of Honest Mary's I'm for sure I'm not going to be a returning customer. My boss is having a meeting at work w/ about 8 people so it's all the big wigs in town so we decided to place a lunch order at Honest Marys w/ everyone getting to choose their individual lunch orders so I go online and place the food order which totaled to over $122 and the order keeps saying "sending" even though it's giving me a pickup time but no confirmation # so I go ahead and call Honest Mary's to make sure this order is going through and NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE! I called multiple times & no one ever picked up. I then decide to get in my car & just drive over to Honest Marys since the phones and online ordering system must be broken or on vacation or chillaxing by the pool (sorry folks couldn't keep the sarcasm out of this review). At this point I'm so frustrated if I could have ordered lunch from elsewhere I would have. So once at Honest Mary's the Team Lead that I spoke to said they were having an issue w/ taking food orders online and ok, I can understand that..sometimes our technology sucks big hairy toes BUT what about no one answering the phones?? Her response to me was "well we don't take orders over the phone" which I responded ok, but that doesn't mean you just don't answer the phones!! I mean really!! So now we're adding poor customer service to the mix! In the end deciding to order lunch from Honest Mary's caused unnecessary frustration & best believe next time my boss suggests ordering from Honest Mary's I will for sure do my best to sway him to pick something else. read more

This was my first time here and I will say it was such a good quick spot to grab a Fram to table meal! This will for sure have to be a new top place to come for lunch frequently!! I loved the variety of healthy foods and sides to mix in a bowl, I have yet to see a variety like this at any other place!! I mean they had sliced beets to throw in your bowl, BEETS! Yum! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the only issue I felt was at the cash register the customer service was not welcoming, I felt rushed and pushed out, and being it was my first time there I had a few questions and I was looking for drinks and I felt super dismissed to the point I just paid and left without a drink, but that won't be the end of my trip there because my bowl was absolutely amazing the food was high quality and while my first experience wasn't the greatest I will indeed try again!! As I said, this was by far my favorite. I went here for lunch one sunny day with my mom and it was so nice because they have plenty of outdoor seating so we could have space and warmth. It was so good, we contemplated having it again for dinner. We got the "Song Bird" which is a prefashioned bowl, and then we made our own bowl. We got the quinoa base, with spaghetti squash, roasted chickpeas, apples, and brussels. It was soooo good. We then got the sesame vinaigrette, tahini citrus miso and cashew lima crema dressing. What we really liked was that they give it to you in a separate container so you can control the amount yourself. Omg. So fresh and it just made you feel good. I've taken about three bites and yeah, we are coming back. This was the most delicious "health" food I have ever had. I tried the Toro Verde bowl, my husband created a bowl. For a man who hates eating healthy he said he could definitely have it again! Music to my ears. The beef tasted great, the mushrooms and sweet potato were flavorful, and don't get me started on the chimichurri sauce. I can't wait to try more bowls from Honest Marys. Wowowow! I am in town for the week with family and am the only member who eats a plant-based diet, so we stopped by to grab something quick for me to eat for dinner. I am blown away. I walked in without having seen the menu, asked for their recommendation, and left with the Sedona Lime bowl. This masterpiece was packed with veggies: flavorful sweet potato & fresh greens (I also asked for roasted broccoli and corn, which I would highly suggest as an add-on to this bowl). The rice and beans made for a whole protein heaven. The sweet server topped the bowl with delicious toasted, salty/sweet pumpkin seeds and wedges of lime to squeeze over. Now the dressing was not so much a "sauce," but a perfect mix of (cashew) cream and guacamole that paired perfectly with the warm veggies. I'm only in town for a week, but I am tempted to revisit!! It was my first time here, and I feel like I hit the jackpot by trying their seasonal Camp Gladiator bowl. I enjoyed the freshness of grilled veggies, arugula, and spaghetti squash. The bowl comes with a basil crema, and I really appreciate how educated these people are about ingredients in their foods, and make sure I don't get anything I am allergic to. So do the meats. You can channel your inner menu planner and put together any kind of esoteric combination you like. But they also have standard "we already thought about it" bowls. The standard "we already thought about it" bowls are well conceived and I recommend them. * * * Is this a place to go for date night? Nah. Not romantic enough - and the food is good but not all that exotic. Is this a place to go for midweek lunch? Sure! Is this a place to go when you need to eat fast to catch your movie at the Arbor? Wow! There was a line out the door during lunch time rush so you know that that is a good sign and fortunately it moved pretty quickly. This was our first visit to the restaurant and they only accept credit cards which keeps things moving fast. The food is great. Local organic fare that is mixed in bowls to unlock all of those awesome flavor combos. My hubby and I both had the ahi tuna poke bowl. Damn delicious as we both licked our bowls clean. Perfect amount of food. They serve beer and wine but I opted for the watermelon aqua Fresca...another tasty concoction! They had at least 3 other flavors too. We'll be back for sure. The food is ok. Love black forbidden rice. They have delicious roasted beets. Some sauces has cilantro and lime rice as well. I have cilantro intolerance, so have to be careful. They serve food in paper bowls. Today wanted Asian slaw, but it was finished and they didn't replenish it, so I had to take something I didn't really wanted. Now that we're all living in the time of COVID-19, I'm so glad y'all are still open and thriving (I hope!) I would also like to give some kudos to you and the employees for your quick adjustment on the order pick up process, and how easy y'all have made it! The kitchen, in my experience, has been very prompt with the pick up order estimates and I thank you for writing our names in a very large font on the to go bags! Had lunch today with friends and the restaurant was packed!! The line moved in decent pace so wait wasn't too overwhelming. We had Aloha Poke Bowl and Dear Quinoa. Overall tasted pretty good, but.... they went a bit crazy with the sesame vinaigrette in our poke bowl and my rice was under drowning. My bowl was overall too salty to attempt to finish. Visited Honest Mary's on a weekday for a team lunch. The restaurant was busier than I expected, but the wait was worth it. Lots of options for vegans and vegetarians here. I ordered the golden grain bowl, with quinoa, beets, apple slices, goat cheese and crispy chick peas. It was quite good, particularly with the crispy chick peas, but was a tad on the bland side. The bowl was healthy yet filling, so I will definitely be back to try some of their other flavors. Very good vibe overall, and friendly service. read more

Place small, food not particularly interesting to us, haven't been back. healthy but kind of boring.

I've been here a smattering of times in the last month, and while the food is solid, the pricing isn't very competitive. There are a lot of up charges and policies that keep this restaurant from being a great experience. I'll start by starting that the restaurant is mostly clean. Our visit last night had a large gnat that circled our table for awhile, but it's the first bug I've seen. Also, the bathroom is spotless and has an art nuevo changing table, so those are both pluses. I also really like how the restaurant composts, and doesn't accept cash. It makes the experience a lot faster, and you feel better about eating out at a place that composts. I normally get the steak salad, the toro. Please note that you get only one substitution before you start to post an extraordinary amount, so choose wisely. For me, I like substituting the field greens for arugula. They will not let you substitute the cooked kale, for reasons known only to them. But. The meat is tasty and the chimmichurri sauce is spicy and flavorful. Also, I also normally avoid the black beans to keep it Whole30, so is you're doing this diet as well, be careful of cross contamination. I definitely got a chickpea in my cashews last night. I've had better $15 salads, but I've also had much worse ones. This place is worth checking out, but it's just not there for me to become a regular. read more

Went in for the first time at around 3:45. I created my own bowl with black rice, beets, Brussel sprouts, edamame, pickled onions, steak and spicy peanut sauce. The veggies were amazing. The black rice is a new favorite rice of mine! I've had black rice before, but had forgotten about it since it isn't offered most places. I highly recommend the black rice as your base. The steak was cooked well, but the tuna looked amazing. I will be trying the tuna on my next visit. The spicy peanut sauce was really good but not spicy. At all. I got the green tea; it was good. Then, I got the ginger lemonade. The lemonade was nice and tangy. I preferred it to the tea though the tea is a safer choice. I am excited to go for something new, but the price might keep me away for a while. My bowl and drink totaled $15. Not the cheapest lunch, but it was a healthy meal. read more

This seems to be a new little restaurant on the corner next to TJ Maxx. The parking lot is always a mess so I recommend going to the side closest to petsmart, where the TJ Maxx chaos is not as bad. For starters, you walk in and this location definitely has that wow factor. Its absolutely gorgeous! It is both modern and classy, and the restaurant was spotless clean. I came around 2:30pm for a late lunch on a Saturday and it was about half full. It's that line chipotle style where you can go up and design your own bowl, and they have servers add them to your meal. if you go - PLEASE TRY THE BRUSSEL SPROUTS THEY WERE SO GOOD!! Everything here is organic and/or honestly sourced (hence the 'honest; Mary's) and the serving sizes are generous-to-just right. We all finished our meals but all were stuffed by the end. They have organic wine and craft beer on tap, and specialty teas and drinks for sale. I'll definitely be back - I'm so excited for such a delicious/organic/vegan-vegetarian friendly place to be in the arboretum!! read more

I went here for lunch this week with some co-workers and it was fabulous!!!! They truly have something for everyone! Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, meat. All of the signature bowls sounded so good and I ended up going with the soba bowl with tofu. It was spectacular! My co-workers all ordered the sedona bowl which they all raved about. The restaurant itself is GORGEOUS! Beautiful decor, very trendy but not stuffy. As I was leaving, I noticed they do online orders as well. From the looks of it, you can order and pay online and then they'll put your food on a shelf so you can grab it and go. Will definitely try it next time! read more
