We got the giardiniera sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches I've eaten. The prosciutto and cheese with the homemade giardiniera was an amazing balance of flavors. For those who don't know what giardiniera is, it's pickled veggies. After having this sand which, I googled a recipe to make giardiniera asap! The bread was perfectly soft and crunchy. I HIGHLY recommend this sandwich if you're considering eating here at Lorenzo. The location is small - space for about 6 people inside and two small tables outside. Soooo glad I was finally able to try Lorenzo! Seriously the BEST sandwich I've had my entire life. I know that seems like an exaggeration, but I'm being truly honest! First time here and opted for the Cotto, which had Prosciutto Cotto, truffle cream, brie cheese, lemon zest and truffle oil and black pepper for $22. Their homemade and freshly baked focaccia bread was sooo good! Toasted perfectly. Not too crispy, not too soft. 2/24/2026 FERRAGOSTO Creamy stracciatella, spicy salami, salsa rosa, juicy tomatoes and arugula. Their salsa rosa is a creamy spicy sauce, but it was cool and creamy than spicy. The salsa rosa brought the sandwich together. Really delicious! All of it on their foccacia bread. Their foccacia bread is slightly chewy and crispy. It was dry and difficult to bite into when made into a sandwich. I felt my teeth fighting with the bread in some areas. It is not the perfect foccacia bread nor the type of foccacia bread I am used to, but the sandwich fillings more than make up for it. If you are saving the sandwich for the next day, after a few hours, the bread was getting soggy from the fresh tomatoes and salsa rosa. So I ate it all on the same day. I enjoyed this sandwich and would get it again. However, if I had to pick between this sandwich and the Rafaello, I would get the Rafaello. RAFAELLO Many layers of mortadella, sweet fig jam, crispy onions, spicy pepperoncini, creamy stracciatella cheese. Unique combo that is sweet and spicy! I was hesitant about getting this after it was recommended to me by the person taking my order. But so happy that I got it! The incredients were different than the other sandwiches and I knew I had to try it! The crispy onions tasted like roasted garlic with a lemony and citrus peel flavor. But the texture was crumbly with a small garlic bits in appearance. It was really unique! But the pay machine was broken and the only option was paying online, but it was an international website with several choices of what country you located and even after choosing the country and city, it still was still having problems. I did not care to download the app just to make a payment. I parked anyway without paying and took a risk and hurried to Lorenzo California. Happy to find no ticket on my windshield when I returned. If you are shopping in the area, please park in the larger BH public parking structures. They have better and updated pay machines and parking attendants who can help. The owner works there and was very nice and gave me some extra vodka sauce when I asked so I can dip it in (without charging me). That's the kind of small business that I will support again and again. We paid about $100 for 3 sandwiches ($25ish each) and 3 waters ($4 each), which yes is kinda pricey, but I would say for Beverly Hills was really good. There's quite a menu and I'd want to come back to try others. Unfortunately not a lot of seating, probably only for about 10 people max. At lunch time I wouldn't be surprised if you had to wait a bit to order and get your sandwich. Still worth the wait. This is my second time coming here and I am glad that I came back. The sandwiches here are very different and if you order wrong (like how I did) the first time you might miss out on the best tuna sandwich that you have ever had. Rarely do I think of a tuna sandwich when visiting an Italian Sandwich shop. But we wanted to see what a "good tuna" sandwich would taste like and boy oh boy it's fresh. We had it on a hot day and biting into the cold tuna was refreshing, reminiscent of good ceviche how it can taste "fresh". There was enough depth and crisp within the tuna that it made a melody of flavor. The bread this time around was much better than the last time I visited. I know they bake their bread daily, but for whatever reason it was softer and fresher tasting on this day. We also ordered the ferragosto and that is always a winner in my book. It has just a little bit of spice and for some reason is quite filling. This sandwich is a good one for eating half and then saving the second half for later, it taste good later too. I don't have much to say about the service except for that it's fine. You order at the counter and they call your name when it is done. I prefer it this way because it means when you are done eating you can just go, instead of waiting for a check. This is important because you're probably parked in a meter somewhere and have to get back before it runs out. Sitting on the sidewalk makes for good people watching and car watching being that it's Beverly Hills. However, the traffic from the cars can be a bit distracting. Came here with my foodie crew as my friend wanted to try the collab sandwich they had going on with Phil (Rosenthal). My friend ordered the Lorenzo x Phil's Chicken Parm, I ordered the Cotto sandwich, and my cousin ordered the Farniente sandwich. We all ate half a sandwich and the other half we split and shared so we got to try all 3 sandwiches. The Lorenzo x Phil's Chicken Parm was delicious! The breading on the chicken Parmesan was perfect, not too salty and not too thick. The vodka sauce and pesto brings out the moisture of the chicken and brings out the flavor of the sandwich. I got the Cotto sandwich. This sandwich has a strong truffle taste to it because if the truffle cream and truffle oil, which I loved. I love truffles which is why I got this sandwich. I love the saltiness of the prosciutto, so the prosciutto and truffle taste complement each other. My cousin got the Farniente sandwich, which to me was like an elevated lox sandwich. The smoked salmon was not to smoky in my opinion, which I liked. And the chimichurri drizzle and tomatoes balance out the smoky flavor of the salmon. The service was great. The lady taking our order was really nice. And this is a small restaurant with few seats indoor and outdoor. So we were lucky to get some seats outside and enjoyed our sandwiches. Granted I only had a sandwich, and I do think you shouldn't review a place based on one item only, but I will say that I came with several co workers and we all tried different sandwiches and we were ALL impressed. The BREAD. I can't tell you enough about it. There are a ton of amazing Italian sandwiches places in LA, but no place has had bread like this. It's airy and fresh and not heavy and condensed. So you feel full but not bloated. Their ingredients are very fresh tasting. I had the Dolce Vita, which I would highly recommend - it has Prosciutto Cotto, stracciatella cheese, truffle honey, tomatoes,oregano. Get a little bag of chips for that crunch. My pictures don't do it justice. The place has limited seating so probably not the best place to come with a group. But so worth the wait for a table or grab and go. And it's also very cute in the middle of rodeo drive. Parking is either metered street parking or there is a paid structure around the corner. I met a friend for lunch and, of course, brought Murphy the Doodle along. We ordered inside and decided to split the Tacchino Sandwich--and wow. Inside was house-roasted turkey piled high with avocado aioli, stracciatella cheese, toasted almonds, tomatoes, baby arugula, and crispy onions. It was huge and easily shareable--and honestly, incredible. The café itself is bright, clean, and super inviting. Service? Absolute A++. We sat outside at a small table on Santa Monica Blvd next to two kind gentlemen and the owner. Murphy's leash was tied to the table (foreshadowing...). At some point, my friend suggested we move to a shadier spot, so we got up to relocateAnd that's when it happened. Murphy decided the table should come with us.He pulled--and the entire table flipped. Food, drinks, everything--on the ground.I was completely mortified.But here's where it turned around: the owner didn't get upset, didn't make a scene--he was only concerned about whether I was okay. Finally gave this place a try and I wasn't disappointed! The bread was very good. My friend got the steak sandwich and I got the porchetta. Prices were a little high but they were huge sandwiches. I took a bite of the steak and it was good but a little too garlicky for me so if you enjoy an intense garlic flavor you'll love it! The porchetta was good as well just a little chewy and they kind of over loaded the sauce I couldn't finish the other half. I work close by, and there's always a line out the door during lunch time. When I went, the waiting time (waiting in line, ordering, and waiting for order to be ready) was around 30 minutes. Next time, I'll definitely call in beforehand or go a little bit later. There's limiting seating inside and outdoors, so you do have to get pretty lucky to snag a seat during the lunch rush. We don't get to Beverly Hills often and usually don't think about going there for a sandwich, but we have worked our way through our big sandwich list and Lorenzo was next up. Big line, so this was pickup and bring home - Pricing looks like most of the newer sandwich places - usually around $20+/-. Not saying that isn't high but it depends on the size and obviously the quality. We chose Brunello & Dolce Vita and wow did we choose correctly. What does Lorenzo do that the others don't match up to? Two things - the meat/bread (freshly baked)/condiment ratio is spot on with every bite and the bread is seasoned perfectly. Brunello - Everything works so well together but the pepperoncini gives it that little extra zing and hit of salt. i'm not a fan of l.a. i'm just not. whenever my boyfriend looks up foodie spots to try, i'm always a little apprehensive because change (the bane of my neurodivergent self). we found lorenzo's on ig. but oh my god, when i say i fell in love, i mean i FELL IN LOVE. this little spot is easily overlooked but it packs a punch in such a small space. the wait is always worth it when a place smells that amazing. the food itself was phenomenal. my boyfriend said it 'tastes like a charcuterie board', w/ all the amazing flavors you never knew you needed. we ended up getting the cotto and dulce vita, and yes we traded a sandwich. so worth it read more

I'm not the biggest sandwich person but the artichoke and peppers at this spot are like no other. I didn't know I was an artichoke person but I am now. That cream/sauce they pair with the artichoke was on point. I would recommend these condiments on any sandwich. The bread was ok. It taste good but just not fresh. I didn't order the sandwiches inside, I can't speak to service. But the place is nice. A few tables outside to eat. Close enough to work to the park and eat. Overall, solid outing. read more
