I ordered the Toscana which came with Prosciutto, basil almond pesto, stracciatella cheese, tomatoes, balsamic vinegar and olive oil and my cousin ordered the Tacchino which had House-made roasted turkey, avocado aioll, stracciatella cheese, toasted almonds, tomatoes, baby arugula with no crispy onions. The ingredients are fresh and high quality, down to the olive oil. The combination of flavors is perfection. I'm excited to keep trying their sandwiches. Ok, this place is great, and reasonably priced for being directly in the center of Beverly Hills. With that said, I don't think the sandwich I got would be in my top 5 this year. It was VERY close! The bread is excellent and the cheese and meat are clearly selected with INCREDIBLE intention. The only problem is that the bread is huge and has a taste unto itself that is really good! Why a problem? Because the cheese was not sharp enough to penetrate the bread flavor and the meat was not deep enough to do the same. This was a (delicious) bread first sandwich. I like my sandwiches to be ingredient forward-facing. This is a me thing. You may absolutely adore this place. My friends got the tuna and I wish I had got that. So fresh and light. We got the giardiniera sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches I've eaten. The prosciutto and cheese with the homemade giardiniera was an amazing balance of flavors. Came by for lunch after watching a great review from Vic & Jeff and it was pretty good! The Cotto sandwich was solid where the prosciutto, truffle cream, brie, and truffle oil all worked well together. That said, the combination flavors could've popped more and the bread was slightly dry and stodgy compared to All'antico Vinaio. Luckily, the pesto fusilli and roast beef plate were very well done. Overall, definitely worth a visit with so many items to choose from. We'd gladly return to try other sandwiches and dishes to see what else we might like. read more

The salsa rosa brought the sandwich together. Really delicious! All of it on their foccacia bread. Their foccacia bread is slightly chewy and crispy. It was dry and difficult to bite into when made into a sandwich. I felt my teeth fighting with the bread in some areas. It is not the perfect foccacia bread nor the type of foccacia bread I am used to, but the sandwich fillings more than make up for it. If you are saving the sandwich for the next day, after a few hours, the bread was getting soggy from the fresh tomatoes and salsa rosa. So I ate it all on the same day. I enjoyed this sandwich and would get it again. However, if I had to pick between this sandwich and the Rafaello, I would get the Rafaello. RAFAELLO Many layers of mortadella, sweet fig jam, crispy onions, spicy pepperoncini, creamy stracciatella cheese. Unique combo that is sweet and spicy! The owner works there and was very nice and gave me some extra vodka sauce when I asked so I can dip it in (without charging me). That's the kind of small business that I will support again and again. Went all the way to Beverly Hills just for this foodie destination. I love me some Italian sandwiches and I had to try it out. Had a few options but I went for the Lorenzo and added Prosciutto since I'm not the biggest fan of Mortadella. Delicious sandwich! Bold sandwich, creamy. Nuts in sandwiches are not weird, the Italians knew how to do it. I also saw that they had some seasonal items, I wish I went for the Porchetta or the Chicken Parm. There's quite a menu and I'd want to come back to try others. Unfortunately not a lot of seating, probably only for about 10 people max. At lunch time I wouldn't be surprised if you had to wait a bit to order and get your sandwich. Still worth the wait. Staff was very attentive, someone was going out asking everybody if they enjoyed their meal. They'll also come out to hand you a box if you need one. This is my second time coming here and I am glad that I came back. The sandwiches here are very different and if you order wrong (like how I did) the first time you might miss out on the best tuna sandwich that you have ever had. We had it on a hot day and biting into the cold tuna was refreshing, reminiscent of good ceviche how it can taste "fresh". There was enough depth and crisp within the tuna that it made a melody of flavor. The bread this time around was much better than the last time I visited. I know they bake their bread daily, but for whatever reason it was softer and fresher tasting on this day. We also ordered the ferragosto and that is always a winner in my book. It has just a little bit of spice and for some reason is quite filling. This sandwich is a good one for eating half and then saving the second half for later, it taste good later too. I don't have much to say about the service except for that it's fine. You order at the counter and they call your name when it is done. I prefer it this way because it means when you are done eating you can just go, instead of waiting for a check. This is important because you're probably parked in a meter somewhere and have to get back before it runs out. Sitting on the sidewalk makes for good people watching and car watching being that it's Beverly Hills. However, the traffic from the cars can be a bit distracting. I got the Cotto sandwich. This sandwich has a strong truffle taste to it because if the truffle cream and truffle oil, which I loved. I love truffles which is why I got this sandwich. I love the saltiness of the prosciutto, so the prosciutto and truffle taste complement each other. My cousin got the Farniente sandwich, which to me was like an elevated lox sandwich. The smoked salmon was not to smoky in my opinion, which I liked. And the chimichurri drizzle and tomatoes balance out the smoky flavor of the salmon. The service was great. So you feel full but not bloated. Their ingredients are very fresh tasting.
