My family loves going to Honey Pig for kbbq, and when we saw the $21.99 all you can eat lunch, we knew we had to try it. The service was amazing, and they constantly checked on us and even helped us cook the meat! The total bill was cheaper than what we were paying for the regular sets before, so we'll definitely be back. Also, the cartoon pig decorations are adorable :)
This Korean BBQ spot in bellaire is a really good experience. Unique clean interior booth and tables with unique chairs. Lots of meat options and deals available. Staff is very friendly help you cook your Korean bbq meat. Bulgogi meat was my favorite and grilling the kimchi!
Me and my friend came here last October to try the AYCE (All You Can Eat) option on a Sunday afternoon. That was $32.99 per person. Food was absolutely delicious and the presentation was overwhelming. The lady came to help us to put meat on the grill and constantly asking if we want more meat. I was full pretty quickly because we ordered too much too fast. AYCE is good if you don't know which meat you like the most. For us, not so much. We both don't eat pork. I don't eat tough beef and spicy meats. I think we can order a la carte next time. Because we came after lunch rush, the restaurant wasn't busy. But the noise was still pretty loud. It was ok though. We were more focused on cooking the food than anything else.

I've been going to Honey Pig for years, and they have always been one of my favorite KBBQ spots around town. This is one of the few KBBQ spots where they actually help cook the meat for you (you can do some yourself too). The service is always amazing. The restaurant is spacious but is always busy during dinner/lunch hours. The costs are pricier than other KBBQ spots around town, but the quality of the meats here is also much better. You can order special combo and/or a-la-carte. Super affordable lunch combos are also available for weekday lunches. I especially love how they have AYCE options now on the weekends. There are 2 ACYE menus to choose from: the $32.99 AYCE A and the $39.99 AYCE B (everything on A plus more meats & seafoods). I opted for the ACYE A during my recent visit because it already comes with plenty of meats, side dishes, and sauces. My favorite cuts are the Beef Brisket, Spicy Beef Bulgogi, Hawaiian Beef Bulgogi, Thinly Sliced Pork Belly, Spicy Pork Belly, and Soy Garlic Pork Belly. For side dishes, I especially love their Steamed Eggs, Seafood Pancakes, and Soybean Paste Stew, Whatever option you choose, you won't be disappointed.

I was able to call in to make a reservation for 6 people at 12:00pm on a Saturday. The restaurant was quite empty when we arrived, so we could have walked in if we had not made the reservation. I have been to the North Austin location countless times, and they do not have all you can eat at that location. So I was very surprised to learn this location offers it! But we decided to get the premium combo since it comes with 9 different meats of pork, beef and squid, as well as steamed egg, soybean paste soup, and 3 bowls of rice. It is so nice that the staff cooks the meat for you at your table and let you know when it is ready to eat. As always, it was delicious. The servings are so generous. We were not able to finish everything. We definitely recommend this restaurant, especially getting combos for a big group of people!
Spent Thanksgiving lunch here, walking in expecting just another Korean BBQ joint--same grill, same routine. But the difference hit fast: the service. Attentive in a way you don't see often, with honest suggestions instead of the usual upsell dance. We skipped the AYCE chaos and went with their pre-order BBQ, and thank God we did--the meats were more than enough, quality over quantity all day. For all of you who refused to cook and stress this holiday, do yourself a favor and eat here. It's the right kind of escape.
My husband and I came here for dinner. We ordered the beef combo. The meat we had were very tasty. The staff kind of comes by and help cook it for you. But you're welcome to cook yourself, of course. We did have to remind our waiter about our initial sides and you can ask for refills. My favorite side was the macaroni one. I really like the la beef rib and beef brisket. Tip to keep your food warm just push the food towards the edge of the grill instead of leaving it on the middle. The room was well ventilated and not smoky. The tables and chairs were stable. When you sit at a round table, pay attention to where the small metal basket is that's where all the oil kind of drips into.. you want to sit away from that. Admittedly,, the drawback was that this place is not all you can eat. This is a la carte.
It feels like you've stepped into a restaurant in South Korea. My family has become regulars at this place, and how could you now? They have an unbeatable AYCE menu with well-known favorites and some lesser known dishes to fit everyone's palette, I'm sure you can find something good to eat at Honey Pig. My favorite dish is the Mulnaengmyeon, which they even have in a smaller potion so it's ideal for me if I don't feel like sharing and they never forget the mustard and vinegar bottles to customize the dish to your liking, just like in Korea. It can get pretty busy during some of the evenings, weekends, or Holidays so keep that in mind if you don't want to wait long. But the owner and all the staff are very nice and cook the food for you even if you're confident in your grilling skills. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the food as it comes, hot and ready, off the grill.

The weather remains confusing, but Korean barbecue doesn't need a season. No issues with parking and service was excellent, the only thing I had to do was pour myself water and enjoy delicious cuts of skillfully cooked beef. The pre-lunch rush atmosphere was very chill, vibes were only enhanced by a Girls Generation marathon. The Beef Combo is beyond adequate to feed two people, and very capable of satisfying three. $109.99 can initially seem steep, but you really get your money's worth with everything offered, sides included.
What they lack in their all you can eat menu they make up in their great sides! Their sides taste fresher than other ayce kbbq spots and they have unlimited steamed egg. Delicious. I eat three minimum each visit. They do have limits on the better meats like galbi and jowl but their other meats are great quality. The beef brisket is fatty and the pork belly strips are fatty and juicy. Good service.

Omg! This place is pretty cool and we had a heck of a lunch today. I cannot even say everything we ate! The price was reasonable for the amount of food you got to eat withthe lunch special! The staff was very attentive! answering any questions we had and helping to cook the meat in the grills! No doubt we will come here again! You should come here too! Your tummy will thank you for it! Food is always a hit. Personally we prefer to order a la carte because we can order the meats we really enjoy over the preset platter options (those are great deals too for the price and for bigger groups). The boneless marinated galbi, and spicy pork belly are our go tos. The banchan is delicious with multiple free refills. When they first opened the service was super top notch. Very attentive, and grilled the meat to perfection. Took off one star because over the years, the service has become lax, and they almost seem annoyed to do things and misses out on water refills or order items. The ambiance reminds of how it is in South Korea, but they do need to update their acoustics because when the birthday song comes on (and it comes on a lot), it is shrill and static-y at the same time. read more

Had a great experience here. It was my first time and we had great service. We had a big group so I got two of the premium special combos. For me this was good for like 8 adults and 4 kids included. I liked how it was cooked for us since they knew how long everything was to be cooked and I can concentrate on the kids and family and not have to memorize cooking times for each meat. I really enjoyed everything that it came with. There was one meat. I think it was the boneless ribs that were thick chunks. That was a bit chewy to eat. But other than that everything else was delicious. The place was clean and I love the open atmosphere. I would come here again. Maybe try their AYCE menu next time. read more
My partner and I had Honey Pig in Maryland & to say that we were excited to see that Houston had a couple locations, is an understatement. We have tried both this location as well as the one in Katy and both agree that the Sharpstown location is our preferred location. Food wise, both locations are equally delicious. However, the service at Sharpstown is friendlier and more efficient. My partner and I shared the fresh pork belly and the brisket. Our server cooked both meats to perfection. Even when the restaurant started to get busier, our server stayed attentive & made sure we had everything we needed. My partner and I can't wait to go back next time we are in Houston. Our only complaint is that they don't have a location in our current area of residence. read more

Ordered take out bibimbop with beef which was $2 upcharge. There were like 5 small pieces of beef which was totally inadequate and not like the picture. Then there were 3 pieces of bone in the plate! Why is there bone (I think chicken bone) in my beef bibimbop?! read more

Great ambiance, super lively. Food is delicious and the service is very friendly. Came here and shared a bone in galbi and spicy pork belly. More than enough food, especially with the side dishes! The staff also gave us a free tofu soup and egg soufflé! So sweet of them! I'd love to come back read more

The food was fantastic!!!! I would go back to eat that rib meat and spicy chicken. The service was good and they were nice about me and my friend staying longer to chat, it wasn't a busy time. The place is clean. I wish it was all you can eat but it was so good, it doesn't matter to me... I'll pay for quality!!!! I just have to be selective. read more
Honey Pig's expansion into Texas has been met with lots of praise and deservedly so. Initially I was puzzled as to why they wouldn't consider opening up in Spring Branch, the city's K-Town, but this Bellaire Asiatown location is just as suitable and is likely better for business. Overall, this place is authentic and reminds me of how it's done in Korea. There's a certain chaos in the ambiance, which is normal and appreciated. The setup is spacious, clean, and the ventilation is on point. KBBQ is more fun in groups, so consider making reservations if your party exceeds 10 people. Unfortunately this is not one of the all you can eat locations (#1), but the meat platters are where it's at. I usually prefer the premium combination of meats, which include pork belly, kalbi, ribeye, boneless rib, brisket, and pork deck with seafood. Additional a la carte options are available, so other meats can be added. Prices are not cheap, but I don't know of any à la carte Korean barbecue places that are. I was quite impressed with their haemulpajun, which was caked in seafood and the mandu (steamed and fried) was tasty. I also think their corn cheese is a fun addition as well as their tteokboki. Bibimbap fans will be happy to know there are multiple options, but I think barbecue is their best asset. For the folks who are complaining about staff stepping in to help cut and prepare the meats for grilling: This is incredibly normal. Let them help you. They probably know what they're doing when it comes to keeping these meats from burning. Another note about the staff is that they actually speak Korean, which is a nice change compared to other Korean spots in the loop. At the end of the day I think. Happy Pig is worthy of being included amongst quality KBBQ options. 3 stars for the food but I'll round it up to a 4 because our server Khoa was fantastic. He was quick, helpful & attentive to our table. We came in on a Friday & there is no lunch special which I thought it was from Monday-Friday but it's actually just Monday-Thursday. I do have to say that their pricing is a bit high but it'll filled you up. We decided to order their pan fried dumplings, beef brisket & beef bulgogi. It also comes with some sides which was limited & they also give you some soup, steamed eggs & white rice. I'll start with the sides, they were pretty horrible in my opinion. The only item that was good was the salad. It was simple & the sauce was delicious, I think it was some kind of garlic sauce. The soup was terrible, bland & odd tasting. The steamed egg was just as bad. The dumplings was good but it didn't come out piping hot. The beef brisket was alright but the dipping sauce (sesame oil with salt) made it taste better. The bulgogi was good but needed to be marinated longer. What I do like about this spot is that the servers pitch in to help you cook the food. I do understand we go for the experience & getting to cook the meats ourselves but it was nice having our server help us out. I also like the grill matter of fact I actually loved the grill. It doesn't need to be changed & it cooks very well to where your meats don't burn & having the whole place smell like burnt food. Overall, it was a fairly decent experience. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but it's definitely good enough for me to come back again. Solid 3 stars for the food. read more

This was a dinner that was unexpected however worth the surprise. Our order was of two order of pork belly and frozen thin sliced pork. If you order two of something you get a order of bean soup (된장찌개) & egg custard (계란찜). During the weekend the fried rice is not available but available during the week. Honey Pig was straight fire! Literally and figuratively haha. Their grills are really strong, and the food was on point. You can really tell the quality of the meat here compared to the AYCE spots in Houston. I don't know why I haven't come here sooner. We ordered their beef combo because it's a better deal than trying to order each of the meats a la carte. We came here as a party of 3, but honestly the beef combo was enough for a party of 4 to split. It came with LA beef rib, bulgogi, beef brisket, ribeye steak, and boneless rib. Their banchan was delicious as well and came with a wide variety including steamed egg and miso soup, my favorite is the fish cake though. The real star of the show here though is their service. They were attentive and had extremely fast service from the moment we sat down. The waiters cook your meat for you, and they even have robots that deliver the meat to your table. I loved that each table has an adjustable vent hood as well so you never leave smelling like Korean bbq. My only complaint was that inside the restaurant was a little hot from all of the strong grills cooking. And their seats are not comfortable unfortunately. Overall though, Honey Pig is a 5/5 for their quality of meat, flavor, and attentive service. They offer a lot of different soju flavors as well, but we didn't drink on this particular visit. Recently a co worker recommended this as her favorite Korean restaurant. Lately, I've been going to a lot of mediocre ones so I was excited. I remember this place being packed so we were skipping it. But recently there is a new Ramen place next door that is getting a lot of buzz, so there was not a wait for our party of 6. First off, I love the decor especially the tables in the middle. There are personalized vents that suck up all of the smells as you're cooking so when you leave you don't smell like meat. As far as the food, we ordered the premium combo with basically comes with all of the beef and pork meats. It also comes with a tofu soup and egg soufflé along with 3 bowls of white rice and all of the Korean side dishes. This was plenty for 4 adults and 2 kids with some to spare. The quality of the meats were superb. My favorite being the beef belly. By far my favorite Korean BBQ restaurant in town. read more

First, the shared parking lot is stupid. There's parking but you gotta park a bit far bc it's pretty packed and it's a madhouse in that area. Anyway, the restaurant is SO FREAKIN LOUD. The music is on blast so everyone is trying to talk over the music so it's extremely uncomfortable and of course the smoke smell isn't well controlled. We had 4 adults and 4 kids. Our table was so tight yet we still couldn't carry a conversation. Food was ok. Not worth the stress and money. We ordered a bunch of food but the kept forgetting to bring out our soju and our fried intestines dish. They brought the intestines dish out as we were paying the bill. read more
Wanted to visit the ramen place that's next door but they are still in their soft opening. We opted to eat here instead. Place is so cute. Waitress cooked our meats which we appreciated but drinks took a while and requesting items took a bit also. Premium Combo $149 (I think) 5/5 Was able to feed 7 adults! Lots of meats. Very tasty. Last Intestines 1/5 Super chewy. we thought this was the large intestines and was wrong. This was chewy and tough to eat. Took a while to cook also. Pancake 3/5 Big portions but flavor was soso. Went there after landing from my flight and it was just what my family and I needed! It wasn't busy at all so we were able to get seated and the servers there were all really nice! They kept checking in on us and helped us cook out meats. The layout is very spacious and clean. They had k-pop music playing and they'll celebrate your birthday month if you tell them. I got the premium combo for a group of 7 (4 adults and 3 kids). The meat wasn't marinated (other than the spicy marination) the dipping sauce didn't really help. But the spicy one did have a really good kick to it. For the wonderful service I would definitely go back for more! read more
We absolutely love this place when we are in Belair services. Great services fast they cook the food for you. They are tentative with all of your needs. I have never had a bad visit here my kids love how they play Korean videos on the TV screen whole restaurant feels like you're in small Korea. read more

Dropped by for a quick lunch and enjoyed their beef ribs soup and Korean seafood pancake. This is not my first time there. Was here several times for the BBQ. Love the cute Korean BBQ ambience just like the ones shown in K-dramas First time to try their lunch menu. The beef rib soup is so delicious with some herbal flavor. And has quite a few big pieces of ribs too. The seafood pancake is loaded with seafood with crispy edges. Yummy! Highly recommend to try the lunch menu! read more
