We visited Duluth over the weekend and had a great time at Honey Pig. We were familiar with the Honey Pig in Houston, but this location proved to be even better. The ambiance is definitely lively, staff was very attentive and cooked for us. Some times I do like cooking my own food so I wish they asked us first, but I can appreciate the gesture. Each time the food was cooked perfectly. Our favorite was definitely either the spicy pork belly or bulgogi. Something about it was different from other places, despite being pretty basic. Overall, I would love to go back if i were in the area.

After a full day of eating in duluth, My family and I decided to hit up Honey Pig to end the day off on a good note! We absolutely love the location in Houston, so we wanted to see if this location was as good as how we know of it as. We went in a busy Saturday night with a party of 5. Our waiter was extremely passionate about showing us the best choices off of our AYCE menu - recommending the Beef brisket and belly. Our table was much more different than the usually kbbq spots that we ate. The grill was a huge stone pot, angled to where the juices can naturally run off to the side for us which was great! The vent system was also much higher than we are used to, so i think that may be what caused our greasy hair and bbq smell. Menu wise, I absolutely loved it!! We got 2 rounds of beef brisket (100/10), beef belly (8/10), spicy pork belly (9/10), regular pork belly(7.5/10), and corn cheese (10/10). I usually don't prefer beef brisket but theirs was amazing!!! There were so many amazing side dishes provided but i especially loved the spicy sauce! Would recommend coming!!

Leave a review to receive complimentary Korean steam eggs or beverage : As I was dining here, I only noticed local Korean come here. You bet this place is authentic! Grill your meat on the traditional cast iron was such a great experience. The butter makes everything taste even better too. : Unlimited KKBQ starting at $34.99 for lunch and 39.99 for lunch per person. : I love how all the sides and meat was authentic and fresh. Must try the fresh thick pork belly! : The Tower beer comes with 1 soju mixed and 3 beers perfect for 4 people. Difficult stomach approved, I love their high quality meats. This place is pretty amazing and the food is CHEFS KISS. The service is really good and the people are very friendly. Me and my friends enjoyed the whole experience. If you want to come for some good meat and strong delicious tower beer, this is the spot!

I had an amazing experience at Honey Pig! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The service made the experience even better -- Myung Sook was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. She made sure everything was perfect and created such a great atmosphere for us. I truly appreciate the excellent customer service and can't wait to come back again. Highly recommend!

Stopped by Friday afternoon for a late lunch. It was mostly empty but service was slow. They do cook the meat at your table for you, which is nice. Inside is dark and spacious with lots of seating. The booths are big and comfortably seated my group of 5. The ayce menu features pork belly with a variety of different marinades but limited options for other types of meat. Usually pork belly is my least favorite ayce pick but I really enjoyed it here. My favorite is the curry pork belly and it was my first time ever having it.

Participated in the Explore Gwinnett Seoul of the South food tour and this was our second stop and boy was it awesome. The star of this spot is the Pork Belly and now I know why - its in the name. The ability to enjoy so many different meats and side dishes made this spot my favorite. If you like Korean style Pork Belly, be sure to check out Honey Pig.

Great and speedy service. They have great promotions during holidays. We came on Mother's Day and got a nice discount. Side dishes are pretty solid and food is fresh. Solid spot for kbbq!

If you are a pork belly lover then you are going to love Honey Pig! This KBBQ place has AYCE or a la carte options, although I think picking AYCE would be worth the most bang for your buck. The ambiance inside is pretty chill; my boyfriend and I went on a Sunday night and it was pretty empty. This also meant that the servers were pretty attentive to us... at times our server was too attentive, but he was just doing his job. We ordered the Beef Brisket, Pork Belly, and Wine Pork Belly. They use butter to oil the large cast iron skillet (not commonly found in KBBQ places around the area) before putting the meat on there, which gives the meat a lot of flavor. I LOVED the Beef Brisket. It was very soft to eat and paired well with a simple salt and sesame oil sauce. Since this place is known for their pork, I was excited to try their pork bellies. According to the server, the Pork Belly and Wine Pork Belly had no difference in taste, which I agree with. There was no distinct flavor to the Wine Pork Belly, but both types of pork bellies were juicy, tender, and meaty! I really think that butter on the skillet helped enhance the flavors of the meats. We also got the Steamed Egg which tasted alright. I do think that the sides could have been better. For instance, they automatically grill the kimchi... I would rather eat the kimchi cold (but I am sure you can ask for cold kimchi on the side). Overall, the meat selection here is very generous for AYCE and the quality is top-notch. I would give Honey Pig a 4.5/5 if I could, only because I think that the sides could be improved (and there could also be more options). But I would definitely recommend coming here if you want yummy meats, specifically pork!

Haven't been here in a while and definitely glad I came back! The meat quality was great for the price and I loved all the sides! It's refreshing seeing somewhere that still has rice paper (my favorite) The AYCE price is definitely worth it if you're a pork enjoyer! Don't come here and say you don't eat pork... it's in the name

We stopped by Honey Pig for lunch this Saturday around 12:30pm. There isn't much left that I recognize from our earlier visit a year or two ago when we visited for dinner. This place was always highly regarded by us previously, but a limited food selection and slow service have dulled this restaurant's luster. Not a busy place--there were only 2 - 3 other tables seated. Very understaffed (only 2 servers who seemed really out of it), limited food options in their "unlimited " meal selection (see photo), and slow service with strange ("only two meats at a time") rules considering that our meal was limited to 2 hours maximum. Barely worth the $35/person that we paid for a table of 4. We won't be back.

If you're craving exceptional BBQ, Honey Pig Korean BBQ is the place to be! The AYCE lunch is $34.99, AYCE dinner is $39.99. They also have combo platter or à la carte options, there's something for everyone. The homemade kimchi was the best part! The lively atmosphere makes it a great spot to gather with friends. Highly recommend if you're in the Duluth area!

One of my new favorite pork belly KBBQ restaurants that happens to be in Duluth. My first time there in years so I enjoyed two thick slabs of their signature thick fresh pork belly with a somaek tower with a friend last Saturday night. Around 7:30 pm, the place was not busy at all with a good mix of people eating AYCE and a la carte. They have tasty side dishes.', especially the kimchi and bean sprouts, so good we ordered extra servings of each. Very good service and attentive servers that know what they are doing. If you need some mouthwash, check out their restroom. Reminds me of a seafood restaurant in Yeosu, South Korea that had that and packaged toothpaste and toothbrushes. Definitely will eat here again!

Do they have tables large enough for a party of 8 or 10?

They do, but you have to reserve it. There isn't much space. I think there are like 2 -3 tables larger enough for that kind of size.

The service was quick and friendly, the restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated with warm wooden accents, and the food was delicious. We ordered eight items off the menu, and while the Scallop with Garlic Sauce ($15.98) was a bit too garlicky for my taste, we enjoyed every dish we tried. The Chicken Skin ($6.99) was perfectly crispy, the Special Lamb and Fatty Beef ($8.99 each) were juicy, the Roasted Eggplant ($5.99) had a rich smokiness, and both the Roasted Enoki Mushrooms and Grilled King Oyster Mushrooms ($5.99 each) were fresh and packed with flavor. The Pork Belly with Enoki Mushrooms ($6.98) were especially delicious! They were flavorful without being overly porky. We'll definitely be back!

My favorite dish is probably the eggplant on rice. I'm also a fan of the fried salted egg corn. The egg drop soup is kind of standard fare and so is the fried pork. Enoki mushrooms were a hit but I felt like it was a small portion. My wife was also disappointed in the stir fried udon noddles. My least favorite dish is the shrimp. The shrimp looks pretty but it's just takes too much effort to eat it. The real reason to come here are for the skewers though. The lamb and fatty beef are good. They are not the best skewers but still great. Would I come here again? Yes but only with friends. It's quite a drive but it's in a nice shopping center. My friend says Friendship BBQ is nearby and better though.

Jin was our server and he was kind enough to answer a ton of questions even though he was so busy with other tables. He was great- all the meat was grilled to perfection and any side dishes (banchan) we needed was a quick request away. For 3- we crushed dinner. Got a combo, and two sides of Kalbi. Let's just say it was a LOT of food, but we also had soju/beer (somek) which also was enjoyed tremendously. You cannot go wrong here. They have combo meals; which are of excellent quality, or you can go with AYCE- still pretty good quality but you'll not get the marinated beef ribs in that way. Thanks to Jin for his patience and great service! Obviously I'll be back, this is my go-to charcoal BBQ spot here in town!

This time, I brought my friend who has never had Korean bbq before for her to try. We went right when it opened so it was quiet. I told the server it was her first time and he was eager to explain everything to her. I don't think she was prepared at all what was about to grace our table He brought out a cart full of side dishes and start to explain what each one is along with the flavor profile. When he got to the scallion salad, she was just not loving it, but he told her to at least try and see what she thinks (don't knock it til you try it!) Then he said they're still getting the charcoal ready so it'll be a few more minutes and my friend's eyes just (like what?) So we start with trying a bite of all the sides. She enjoyed everything except the sliced onion salad. Surprisingly, she loved everything else, including the scallion salad! She's a texture eater, so I was weary of her trying the tofu, but she really enjoyed that too! So... the charcoal comes out, and she's just Then the server brings the grill with the cheesy corn, spicy bean sprout, and he poured in the eggs. Followed by the meats! Since she didn't really know what she likes, I made a few suggestions and the server suggests letting him bring us the most popular items first and we can work our way through the menu. What a great idea!! Started with brisket and ribeye and wow ... meats were fresh, paired with the sides, and the dipping sauces, it's just chef's kiss!! We then had bulgogi and pork belly and those were just bursting with flavor! The cheesy corn was good but burned too fast on the grill, the spicy bean sprouts are amazing, and the steam egg is my favorite . The only downside is that if you don't eat those sides that are cooking on the grill right away they'll turn dry and burned and it won't be as good. The cheesy corn also caused some splattering to our hands when we were cooking the meats. The server apologized for the oil splattering since he heard the squeal immediately soak up the oil from the cheesy corn so the splattering would stop. Overall, my friend gave it 10/10!!!
