This location shares a building with a Shake Shack. It's not easily seen as you turn into the shopping center from 70. Plenty of parking. Where this location excels is in sheer friendliness. The staff here seem to want to be there and their upbeat responses feel genuine. If it's an act, they need to go to Hollywood. FDC and I have both done our time on food service. We're pretty good at detecting fake happy. The location was very clean and other than a tendency to bottleneck at ordering stations the layout is bright. I've been to this new location a few times already and have really enjoyed the option for fresh, nutritious food while eating out! Orders are placed at a kiosk, which speeds things along nicely (with multiple people ordering at once), and they stay well staffed during meal times to keep wait time at a minimum. My only issue with the kiosks is that it can be difficult to get someone's attention talking through the sneeze guards if you have a question. It's not that they don't want to help, (because everyone is very helpful once you get there attention), it's just difficult to be heard. I have tried 3 of the stir fry sauces, and they are all very good - much tastier than green plate, but not quite as good as Crisp Kitchen. The stir fry veggies are cooked to the perfect texture and taste fantastic. The Cobb salad is fantastic and actually a pretty good portion size. It has everything I would hope for in a salad (egg, bacon, chicken, blue cheese, avocado, tomato) and home made dressing. I ordered it just as it comes (which is unusual for me) and it was one of my top restaurant salads, (better than Crisp Kitchen), and trust me, I've eaten many! haha As others have mentioned, the servings are not super large. If you have a big appetite, you may not leave full. And at $10-$13, this could be a little disappointing. The honey bar is also fun for someone who can't have dairy or sugar. You choose fruits, can add plain yogurt, and then your choice of honey to sweeten the whole thing up. Then you can add toppings (if diet allows) of whip cream or other crunchies. As with the meals, it is a bit pricey for the size, but a nice alternative to unhealthy desserts. Overall, I definitely recommend honey grow and will continue to eat there! Have never truly understood Honeygrow as a chain because I think the stir-fry is extremely oily. The salad, I haven't tried, so I can't quite say anything about that. I do appreciate this place because it's a fast-casual lunch spot that I don't feel cherry hill has a lot of. The ordering is pretty intuitive, you use a screen and pay at the screen. It's very fast. Orders also take like 5 minutes to make - not sure how they do it, but they do. The food taste good but when you get it, it is extremely small portion for $24 I was shocked. You barely have carrots in your meal. The peppers are so tiny chopped up why bother having them in the meal. I ordered pineapple and I only found 3 small cubes not even 1/4 inch sized. I ordered an apple dessert and it was 50 pct whipped cream. Everything was so small and finely chopped. I was very disappointed and will not be back. There are ordering screens that you use to create and customize your order yourself and then you get a number. I ordered the seasonal option, Shiso Basil Pesto Stir Fry with Shrimp. It was super tasty; loved the flavors and freshness of the asparagus and green beans in it. The rice noodles had a nice texture as well. It was in the $10 range which most will find pricy for the quantity that you get, but the quality seems to be there. For me the quantity was perfect, but I'm a light eater, so I can't imagine this being filling enough for the typical American appetite. The stir fry is also quite delicious! And as much as I could eat here every day, Honeygrow isn't perfect. I've actually had a few of my orders incorrectly made. Within a matter of a few hours, they reached out to me, apologized and gave me a credit to use for further purchases. AMAZING. I couldn't believe a representative had gotten back to me so fast, during a pandemic, that's unheard of! I continue to eat at Hineygrow because of the customer service, weird I know. I also LOVE their App!! I receive rewards frequently because of how often I order from Honeygrow. It's quick and easy to order and they typically have my order done within 10-15 minutes of ordering. I can switch back and forth between two different credit cards within the App, which is convenient. I typically go to the Bala Cynwyd, PA store, which is amazing too, but since the pandemic, I've been working from home. The Marlton store is clean, efficient and the employees are nice! Honeygrow adjusted fast when the pandemic hit, rearranging their system to adapt to current needs/cautions. Honeygrow makes a strong first impression, but with more visits, I've started to lose interest. I like the general setup - the food, on the whole, is good, and I highly appreciate the eco-friendly packaging. In addition, the degree of customization for the stir-fries is a huge plus, especially since you can usually swap in tofu as your protein without experiencing a huge drop in taste. But this place ain't all that cheap for what they give you. I need to get at least 2 stir fries to approach being full, and each one currently costs between $7-12. My other big issue after that is just, well, the menu. Of the four main items, two are Garlic (one is Spicy and the other isn't). I've gotten the Sweet Soy Five Spice multiple times, but it's a little overpowering. So my favorite option is often times the Seasonal choice, which - as the name implies - changes frequently. I miss the Basil Pesto one. If you've got a small appetite or you're really itching for variety in your [reasonably] healthy take-out, then you might love this place. We were immediately greeted as we walked in and were even walked through the menu by a staff member. We asked for a paper menu, but unfortunately they were all out. The grand opening was about a week ago and it appears that business has been booming. The ordering is touch screen. I built my own stir fry bowl with beef, noodles, green beans, bean sprouts, and a red curry sauce. It was absolutely amazing! The sauce was not overpowering, provided just enough spice to make me want more. The beef was tender and not dry, and the noodles were perfect and not soggy. I've been here so much that I can't believe I haven't wrote a review yet... but Honeygrow's worth it. Honeygrow brings the fast casual model to both salads and stir fry bowls, the latter being something very distinctive to the South Jersey area. I always found the quality of their vegetables, meats, and noodles to be fantastic and fresh. And the bread that you can buy on the side is fantastic, something reminiscent of onion bread. I value Honeygrow over most salad places because they appear to be more committed in purchasing ingredients locally and following 'cleaner' standards more often. They also make all of their sauces and dressings in house. I really appreciate that because for something such as a salad, a raw dish, if the core ingredients are garbage, nothing else matters -- you can't fix a bad core ingredient problem. Are they the cheapest? Absolutely not, you could and can find a better deal if you go elsewhere. But I'm still giving Honeygrow five stars because picking food made locally & cleanly costs money. Honeygrow's market isn't to race to the bottom, it's to be held to a certain standard. COVID - 19 REVIEW: I was there on Saturday around 1 and was disappointed to see one of the young female workers not wearing her mask properly. It did not fit well so it constantly stayed below her nose and slipped where i could see her lips, or maybe she chose to intentionally wear it like that. While she is partially at fault, Honeygrow should really be ashamed that they are forcing their workers to wear masks from home. My daughter grace took me here after a dr appt nearby. It was absolutely delicious! Billy (the owner) realizing it was my first time there, showed me how to order. It took about 3 seconds for me (who is t so savvy w/technology) to understand the process. Very user friendly. The stir fry was ready in 5min and was delicious.
